2 Mose 1

1 Und dies sind die Namen der Söhne Israels, die nach Ägypten gekommen sind. Mit Jakob sind sie gekommen, jeder mit seiner Familie:

2 Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda,

3 Issakar, Zabulon, Benjamin,

4 Dan, Naphtali, Gad und Asser.

5 Aller Seelen der aus Jakob Entsprungenen waren es siebzig; Joseph aber war schon in Ägypten gewesen.

and to be all soul: person to come out: produce thigh Jacob seventy soul: person and Joseph to be in/on/with Egypt

6 Da starben Joseph und alle seine Brüder, jenes ganze Geschlecht.

and to die Joseph and all brother: male-sibling his and all [the] generation [the] he/she/it

7 Die Israeliten aber waren fruchtbar geworden; sie wurden überreich, wuchsen und erstarkten mehr und mehr, und das Land ward ihrer voll.

and son: descendant/people Israel be fruitful and to swarm and to multiply and be vast in/on/with much much and to fill [the] land: country/planet with them

8 Da trat in Ägypten ein neuer König auf, der von Joseph nichts wußte.

and to arise: rise king new upon Egypt which not to know [obj] Joseph

9 Er sprach zu seinem Volk: "Das Volk der Söhne Israels wird uns zu viel und zu stark.

and to say to(wards) people his behold people son: descendant/people Israel many and mighty from us

10 Wohlan! Überlisten wir es, daß es nicht weiter wachse! Sonst könnte es sich, falls ein Krieg wider uns ausbreche, zu unseren Gegnern schlagen und gegen uns kämpfen und dann aus dem Lande ziehen."

to give [emph?] be wise to/for him lest to multiply and to be for to encounter: chanced battle and to add also he/she/it upon to hate us and to fight in/on/with us and to ascend: rise from [the] land: country/planet

11 so setzten sie Fronvögte darüber, um mit Fronarbeiten es zu drücken. Und so baute es Pitom und Ramses zu Vorratsstädten für Pharao aus.

and to set: appoint upon him ruler taskworker because to afflict him in/on/with burden their and to build city storage to/for Pharaoh [obj] Pithom and [obj] Raamses

12 Aber je mehr sie es drückten, desto mehr nahm es zu und breitete sich aus. Da graute jenen vor den Israeliten.

and like/as as which to afflict [obj] him so to multiply and so to break through and to loathe from face: because son: descendant/people Israel

13 Und so machten die Ägypter die Israeliten gewaltsam zu Sklaven

and to serve Egyptian [obj] son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with severity

14 und verbitterten ihnen das Leben mit harter Fron in Lehm und Ziegeln und allerlei Fron auf dem Felde. All ihr Frondienst, den man ihnen aufgelegt hatte, geschah mit Plackerei.

and to provoke [obj] life their in/on/with service severe in/on/with clay and in/on/with brick and in/on/with all service: work in/on/with land: country [obj] all service: work their which to serve in/on/with them in/on/with severity

15 Dann sprach der König von Ägypten zu den Hebammen der Hebräerinnen; die eine hieß Siphra, die andere Pua.

and to say king Egypt to/for to beget [the] Hebrew which name [the] one Shiphrah and name [the] second Puah

16 Er sagte: "Entbindet ihr die Hebräerinnen, dann beseht ihr die Teile. Ist es ein Knabe, dann tötet ihr ihn. Ist es ein Mädchen, mag es leben."

and to say in/on/with to beget you [obj] [the] Hebrew and to see: see upon [the] wheel if son: child he/she/it and to die [obj] him and if daughter he/she/it and to live

17 Die Hebammen aber fürchteten Gott, und so taten sie nicht, was ihnen der König von Ägypten befohlen, sondern ließen die Knaben am Leben.

and to fear: revere [the] to beget [obj] [the] God and not to make: do like/as as which to speak: speak to(wards) them king Egypt and to live [obj] [the] youth

18 Da schrie der König von Ägypten die Hebammen an und sprach zu ihnen: "Warum habt ihr dies getan? Ihr ließet die Knaben am Leben."

and to call: call to king Egypt to/for to beget and to say to/for them why? to make: do [the] word: thing [the] this and to live [obj] [the] youth

19 Da sprachen die Hebammen zu Pharao: "Die Hebräerinnen sind nicht wie die ägyptischen Weiber; sie sind wie Tiere. Bevor die Hebamme zu ihnen kommt, haben sie geboren."

and to say [the] to beget to(wards) Pharaoh for not like/as woman [the] Egyptian [the] Hebrew for vigorous they(fem.) in/on/with before to come (in): come to(wards) them [the] to beget and to beget

20 Und Gott ließ es den Hebammen gut ergehen. Das Volk aber wuchs und wurde sehr stark.

and be good God to/for to beget and to multiply [the] people and be vast much

21 Weil aber die Hebammen Gott gefürchtet hatten, verlieh er ihnen Vermögen.

and to be for to fear: revere [the] to beget [obj] [the] God and to make: offer to/for them house: household

22 Pharao aber befahl seinem ganzen Volke: "Ihr sollt alle Knaben, die geboren werden, in den Nil werfen. Die Mädchen aber sollt ihr am Leben lassen."

and to command Pharaoh to/for all people his to/for to say all [the] son: child [the] born [the] Nile [to] to throw him and all [the] daughter to live [emph?]
