2 Chronik 10
1 Rechabeam ging nun nach Sichem. Denn ganz Israel ging nach Sichem, ihn zum König zu machen.
and to go: went Rehoboam Shechem [to] for Shechem to come (in): come all Israel to/for to reign [obj] him
2 Davon hörte Nebats Sohn Jeroboam. Er war noch in Ägypten, wohin er vor dem König Salomo geflohen war. Da kehrte Jeroboam aus Ägypten zurück.
and to be like/as to hear: hear Jeroboam son: child Nebat and he/she/it in/on/with Egypt which to flee from face Solomon [the] king and to return: return Jeroboam from Egypt
3 Nun sandte man hin und ließ ihn rufen. So kamen Jeroboam und ganz Israel. Sie sprachen zu Rechabeam:
and to send: depart and to call: call to to/for him and to come (in): come Jeroboam and all Israel and to speak: speak to(wards) Rehoboam to/for to say
4 "Dein Vater hat uns ein hartes Joch auferlegt. Erleichtere uns deines Vaters harten Dienst und das schwere Joch, das er uns auferlegt, und wir wollen dir dienen!"
father your to harden [obj] yoke our and now to lighten from service father your [the] severe and from yoke his [the] heavy which to give: put upon us and to serve you
5 Er sprach zu ihnen: "Kommt in drei Tagen wieder zu mir!" Und das Volk ging weg.
and to say to(wards) them still three day and to return: again to(wards) me and to go: went [the] people
6 Da beriet sich König Rechabeam mit den Ältesten, die vor seinem Vater Salomo bei seinen Lebzeiten gestanden, und sprach: "Wie ratet ihr, dieses Volk zu bescheiden?"
and to advise [the] king Rehoboam with [the] old which to be to stand: stand to/for face: before Solomon father his in/on/with to be he alive to/for to say how? you(m. p.) to advise to/for to return: reply to/for people [the] this word
7 Sie sprachen zu ihm so: "Bist du zu diesem Volke gütig, fügst dich ihnen und gibst ihnen freundlichen Bescheid, dann werden sie dir allzeit Diener sein."
and to speak: speak to(wards) him to/for to say if to be to/for pleasant to/for [the] people [the] this and to accept them and to speak: speak to(wards) them word pleasant and to be to/for you servant/slave all [the] day: always
8 Er aber kehrte sich nicht an den Rat der Alten, die ihn beraten hatten, sondern beriet sich mit den Jungen, die mit ihm aufgewachsen waren und vor ihm standen.
and to leave: forsake [obj] counsel [the] old which to advise him and to advise with [the] youth which to magnify with him [the] to stand: stand to/for face: before his
9 Er sprach zu ihnen: "Wie ratet ihr, dieses Volk zu bescheiden, das zu mir gesprochen: 'Erleichtere das Joch, das uns dein Vater auferlegt hat!'"
and to say to(wards) them what? you(m. p.) to advise and to return: reply word [obj] [the] people [the] this which to speak: speak to(wards) me to/for to say to lighten from [the] yoke which to give: put father your upon us
10 Da sprachen zu ihm die Jungen, die mit ihm aufgewachsen waren: "Also sprich zu diesem Volke, das zu dir gesprochen: 'Dein Vater hat uns ein schweres Joch auferlegt. Erleichtere du unser Joch!' So sprich zu ihnen: Mein kleiner Finger ist stärker als meines Vaters Lenden.
and to speak: speak with him [the] youth which to magnify with him to/for to say thus to say to/for people which to speak: speak to(wards) you to/for to say father your to honor: heavy [obj] yoke our and you(m. s.) to lighten from upon us thus to say to(wards) them little finger my to thicken from loin father my
11 Nun denn! Mein Vater hat euch ein schweres Joch auferlegt. Ich aber will euer Joch noch härter machen. Mein Vater hat euch mit Peitschen gezüchtigt, ich aber will es mit Skorpionen tun."
and now father my to lift upon you yoke heavy and I to add upon yoke your father my to discipline [obj] you in/on/with whip and I in/on/with scorpion
12 Am dritten Tage kamen nun Jeroboam und alles Volk zu Rechabeam, wie der König gesagt hatte: "Kommt am dritten Tage wieder zu mir!"
and to come (in): come Jeroboam and all [the] people to(wards) Rehoboam in/on/with day [the] third like/as as which to speak: speak [the] king to/for to say to return: again to(wards) me in/on/with day [the] third
13 Da fuhr der König sie hart an. Denn der König Rechabeam hielt sich nicht an den Rat der Alten.
and to answer them [the] king severe and to leave: forsake [the] king Rehoboam [obj] counsel [the] old
14 Er sprach nach der Jungen Rat zu ihnen: "Mein Vater hat euch ein schweres Joch auferlegt. Ich aber mache euer Joch noch schwerer. Mein Vater züchtigte euch mit Peitschen, ich aber will es mit Skorpionen tun."
and to speak: speak to(wards) them like/as counsel [the] youth to/for to say to honor: heavy [obj] yoke your and I to add upon him father my to discipline [obj] you in/on/with whip and I in/on/with scorpion
15 Also schenkte der König dem Volke kein Gehör. Denn so war es von Gott bestimmt, damit der Herr sein Wort bestätigte, das er durch den Siloniten Abia zu Nebats Sohn Jeroboam gesprochen hatte.
and not to hear: hear [the] king to(wards) [the] people for to be turn from from with [the] God because to arise: rise LORD [obj] word his which to speak: speak in/on/with hand: by Ahijah [the] Shilonite to(wards) Jeroboam son: child Nebat
16 Als nun ganz Israel sah, daß der König ihnen kein Gehör schenkte, gab das Volk dem König diesen Bescheid: "Was haben wir gemein mit David? Wir nehmen keinen Anteil mehr am Isaisohne. Ein jeglicher gehe zu seinen Zelten, Israel! Nun schau nach deinem Hause, David!" So ging ganz Israel zu seinen Zelten.
and all Israel for not to hear: hear [the] king to/for them and to return: reply [the] people [obj] [the] king to/for to say what? to/for us portion in/on/with David and not inheritance in/on/with son: child Jesse man: anyone to/for tent your Israel now to see: see house: household your David and to go: went all Israel to/for tent his
17 So blieb Rechabeam nur noch König über die Israeliten, die in Judas Städten wohnten.

18 Da sandte der König Rechabeam den Fronmeister Hadoram hin. Aber die Israeliten steinigten ihn zu Tode. Der König Rechabeam selbst konnte noch rasch auf seinen Wagen springen und nach Jerusalem fliehen.

19 So fiel Israel vom Davidshause ab bis auf diesen Tag.
