1 Levis Söhne sind Gersom, Kehat und Merari.

The sonnes of Leui were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 Kehats Söhne sind Amram, Ischar, Chebron und Uzziel.

And the sonnes of Kohath, Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Vzziel.

3 Amrams Kinder sind Aaron, Moses und Mirjam. Aarons Söhne sind Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar und Itamar.

And the children of Amram, Aaron, and Moses and Miriam. And the sonnes of Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.

4 Eleazar zeugte Pinechas und Pinechas den Abisu.

Eleazar begate Phinehas. Phinehas begate Abishua,

5 Abisu zeugte Bukki und Bukki den Uzzi.

And Abishua begate Bukki, and Bukki begate Vzzi,

6 Uzzi zeugte Zerachja und Zerachja den Merajot.

And Vzzi begate Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begate Meraioth.

7 Merajot zeugte Amarja und Amarja den Achitub.

Meraioth begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,

8 Achitub zeugte Sadok und Sadok den Achimaas.

And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Ahimaaz,

9 Achimaas zeugte Azarja und Azarja den Jochanan,

And Ahimaaz begate Azariah, and Azariah begate Iohanan,

10 Jochanan zeugte Azarja - das ist der, der im Hause, das Salomo in Jerusalem gebaut, Priesterdienste getan hat.

And Iohanan begate Azariah (it was hee that was Priest in the house that Salomon built in Ierusalem)

11 Azarja aber zeugte Amarja und Amarja den Achitub.

And Azariah begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,

12 Achitub zeugte Sadok und Sadok den Sallum.

And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Shallum,

13 Sallum zeugte Chilkia und Chilkia den Azarja.

And Shallum begate Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begate Azariah,

14 Azarja zeugte Seraja und Seraja den Josadak.

And Azariah begate Seraiah, and Seraiah begate Iehozadak,

15 Josadak aber ist fortgezogen, als der Herr Juda und Jerusalem durch Nebukadrezar wegführen ließ.

And Iehozadak departed when the Lord caried away into captiuitie Iudah and Ierusalem by the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar.

16 Levis Söhne sind Gersom, Kehat und Merari.

The sonnes of Leui were Gershom, Kohath and Merari.

17 Dies sind die Namen der Söhne Gersoms: Libni und Simi.

And these be the names of the sonnes of Gershom, Libni, and Shimei.

18 Kehats Söhne sind Amram, Ishar, Chebron und Uzziel.

And the sonnes of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron and Vzziel.

19 Meraris Söhne sind Machli und Musi. Dies sind die Sippen der Leviten nach ihren Familien:

The sonnes of Merari, Mahli and Mushi: and these are the families of Leui concerning their fathers.

20 Von Gersom stammt sein Sohn Libni, dessen Sohn Jachat, dessen Sohn Zimma,

Of Gershom, Libni his sonne, Iahath his sonne, Zimmah his sonne,

21 dessen Sohn Joach, dessen Sohn Iddo, dessen Sohn Zerach und dessen Sohn Jeatrai.

Ioah his sonne, Iddo his sonne, Zerah his sonne, Ieaterai his sonne.

22 Kehats Söhne sind sein Sohn Amminadab, dessen Sohn Korach, dessen Sohn Assir,

The sonnes of Kohath, Aminadab his sonne, Korah his sonne, Assir his sonne,

23 dessen Sohn Elkana, dessen Sohn Abjasaph, dessen Sohn Assir,

Elkanah his sonne, and Ebiasaph his sonne, and Assir his sonne,

24 dessen Sohn Tachat, dessen Sohn Uriel, dessen Sohn Uzzia und dessen Sohn Saul.

Tahath his sonne, Vriel his sonne, Vzziah his sonne, and Shaul his sonne,

25 Elkanas Söhne sind Amasai und Achimot,

And the sonnes of Elkanah, Amasai, and Ahimoth.

26 dessen Sohn Elkana. Elkanas Söhne sind sein Sohn Sophai, dessen Sohn Nachat,

Elkanah. the sonnes of Elkanah, Zophai his sonne, and Nahath his sonne,

27 dessen Sohn Eliab, dessen Sohn Jerocham, dessen Sohn Elkana und dessen Sohn Samuel.

Eliab his sonne, Ieroham his sonne, Elkanah his sonne,

28 Samuels Söhne sind der Erstgeborene Joel und der zweite Abia.

And the sonnes of Shemuel, the eldest Vashni, then Abiah.

29 Meraris Söhne sind Machli, dessen Sohn Libni, dessen Sohn Simei, dessen Sohn Uzza,

The sonnes of Merari were Mahli, Libni his sonne, Shimei his sonne, Vzzah his sonne,

30 dessen Sohn Simea, dessen Sohn Chaggia und dessen Sohn Asaja.

Shimea his sonne, Haggiah his sonne, Asaiah his sonne.

31 Diese sind es, die David für den Gesang in des Herrn Haus bestellt hat, nachdem die Lade einen Ruheort gefunden hatte.

And these be they whom Dauid set for to sing in the house of the Lord, after that the Arke had rest.

32 Sie hatten den Dienst im Gesang vor der Wohnung des Bundeszeltes, bis Salomo das Haus des Herrn zu Jerusalem baute. Und sie taten ihren Dienst nach ihrer Vorschrift.

And they ministred before the Tabernacle, euen the Tabernacle of the Congregation with singing, vntill Salomon had built ye house of the Lord in Ierusalem: then they continued in their office, according to their custome.

33 Diese amteten samt ihren Söhnen: von den Söhnen der Kehatiter der Sänger Heman, Joels Sohn und Enkel Samuels,

And these ministred with their children: of the sonnes of Kohath, Heman a singer, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Shemuel,

34 des Sohnes Elkanas und Enkels Jerochams, des Sohnes Eliabs und Enkels Tochis,

The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Eliel, the sonne of Toah,

35 des Sohnes Suphs und Enkels Elkanas des Sohnes Machats und Enkels Amasais,

The sonne of Zuph, the sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Mahath, the sonne of Amasai,

36 des Sohnes Elkanas und Enkels Joels, des Sohnes Azajas und Enkels Sephanjas,

The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Zephaniah,

37 des Sohnes Tachats und Enkels Assirs, des Sohnes Ebjasaphs und Enkels Korachs,

The sonne of Tahath, the sonne of Assir, the sonne of Ebiasaph, the sonne of Korah,

38 des Sohnes Ishars und Enkels Kehats, des Sohnes Levis und Enkels Israels.

The sonne of Izhar, the sonne of Kohath, the sonne of Leui, the sonne of Israel.

39 Sein Bruder ist Asaph, sein erster Gehilfe. Asaph, Berekjas Sohn und Enkel Simeas,

And his brother Asaph stoode on his right hand: and Asaph was the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Shimea,

40 des Sohnes Mikaels und Enkels Baasejas, des Sohnes Malkias,

The sonne of Michael, the sonne of Baaseiah, the sonne of Malchiah,

41 des Sohnes Etnis und Enkels Zerachs, des Sohnes Adajas,

The sonne of Ethni, the sonne of Zerah, the sonne of Adaiah,

42 des Sohnes Etans und Enkels Zimmas, des Sohnes Simis,

The sonne of Ethan, the sonne of Zimmah, the sonne of Shimei,

43 des Sohnes Jochats und Enkels Gersoms, des Levisohnes.

The sonne of Iahath, the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Leui.

44 Meraris Söhne, ihre Brüder, waren ihre zweiten Gehilfen. Etan, Kisis Sohn und Enkel Abdis, des Sohnes Malluks,

And their brethren the sonnes of Merari were on the left hand, euen Ethan the sonne of Kishi, the sonne of Abdi, the sonne of Malluch,

45 des Sohnes Chasabjas und Enkels Amasjas, des Sohnes Chilkias,

The sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Amaziah, the sonne of Hilkiah,

46 des Sohnes Amsis und Enkels Banis, des Sohnes Semers,

The sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Shamer,

47 des Sohnes Machlis und Enkels Musis, des Sohnes Meraris und Enkels Levis.

The sonne of Mahli, the sonne of Mushi, the sonne of Merari, the sonne of Leui.

48 Ihre Brüder, die Leviten, waren für den ganzen Dienst an der Wohnung des Gotteshauses bestellt.

And their brethren the Leuites were appointed vnto all the seruice of the Tabernacle of the house of God,

49 Aaron aber und seine Söhne räucherten an dem Brandopferaltar und an dem Räucheraltar, ebenso bei allen Diensten am Allerheiligsten und bei der Entsühnung Israels, genau nach der Vorschrift, die der Diener Gottes, Moses, gegeben hatte.

But Aaron and his sonnes burnt incense vpon the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all that was to do in the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the seruant of God had commanded.

50 Dies sind Aarons Söhne: sein Sohn Eleazar, dessen Sohn Pinechas, dessen Sohn Abisu,

These are also the sonnes of Aaron, Eleazar his sonne, Phinehas his sonne, Abishua his sonne,

51 dessen Sohn Bukki, dessen Sohn Uzzi, dessen Sohn Zerachja,

Bukki his sonne, Vzzi his sonne, Zerahiah his sonne,

52 dessen Sohn Merajot, dessen Sohn Amarja, dessen Sohn Achitub,

Meraioth his sonne, Amariah his sonne, Ahitub his sonne,

53 dessen Sohn Sadok und dessen Sohn Achimaas.

Zadok his sonne, and Ahimaaz his sonne.

54 Dies sind ihre Wohnsitze nach ihren Zeltlagern in ihrem Gebiet: Den Aaronssöhnen, der Kehatitersippe - denn auf sie fiel das Los -,

And these are the dwelling places of them throughout their townes and coastes, euen of the sonnes of Aaron for the familie of the Kohathites, for the lot was theirs.

55 gab man im Lande Juda Hebron und seine Weidetriften ringsumher.

So they gaue them Hebron in the lande of Iudah and the suburbes thereof rounde about it.

56 Das Feld der Stadt aber und ihre Gehöfte hatte man Jephunnes Sohn Kaleb gegeben.

But the fielde of the citie, and the villages thereof they gaue to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh.

57 Den Aaronssöhnen aber hatte man die Zufluchtsstädte Hebron und Libna samt ihren Weidetriften übergeben, ferner Jattir und Estemoa mit den Ihrigen,

And to the sonnes of Aaron they gaue the cities of Iudah for refuge, euen Hebron and Libna with their suburbes, and Iattir, and Eshtemoa with their suburbes,

58 Cholon mit seinen Weidetriften, Debir,

And Hilen with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,

59 Asan und Betsemes je mit seinen Weidetriften.

And Ashan and her suburbes, and Bethshemesh and her suburbes:

60 Vom Stamme Benjamin: Geba mit seinen Weidetriften und Anatot mit den seinigen. Die Gesamtzahl ihrer Städte ist dreizehn samt ihren Familien,

And of the tribe of Beniamin, Geba and her suburbes, and Alemeth with her suburbes, and Anathoth with her suburbes: all their cities were thirteene cities by their families.

61 Die übrigen Kehatsstädte erhielten von den Sippen des Stammes Ephraim, vom Stamme Dan und vom Halbstamme Manasse zehn Städte durch das Los.

And vnto the sonnes of Kohath the remnant of the familie of the tribe, euen of the halfe tribe of the halfe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities.

62 Gersoms Söhne erhielten nach ihren Sippen vom Stamme Issakar, vom Stamme Asser, vom Stamme Naphtali und vom Manassestamme in Basan dreizehn Städte.

And to the sonnes of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.

63 Meraris Söhne erhielten nach ihren Sippen vom Stamme Ruben, vom Stamme Gad und vom Stamme Zabulon zwölf Städte durch das Los.

Vnto the sonnes of Merari according to their families out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, by lot twelue cities.

64 So gaben die Israeliten den Leviten die Städte samt den Weidetriften.

Thus the children of Israel gaue to the Leuites cities with their suburbes.

65 Man gab durchs Los vom Stamme der Judasöhne, von dem der Simeonsöhne und dem der Söhne Benjamins jene Städte, die namentlich genannt sind.

And they gaue by lot out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Beniamin, these cities, which they called by their names.

66 Bei den Sippen der Kehatssöhne rühren die Städte ihres Loses vom Stamm Ephraim her.

And they of the families of the sonnes of Kohath, had cities and their coastes out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 Man gab ihnen die Zufluchtsstädte Sichem mit seinen Weidetriften auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, Gezer mit den seinigen,

And they gaue vnto them cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim, and her suburbes, and Gezer and her suburbes,

68 Jokmeam, Bet Choron,

Iokmeam also and her suburbes, and Bethhoron with her suburbes,

69 Ajjalon und Gat Rimmon je mit ihren Weidetriften.

And Aialon and her suburbes, and Gath Rimmon and her suburbes,

70 Und vom Halbstamm Manasse Aner mit seinen Weidetriften und Bileam mit den seinigen, und zwar den Sippen der übrigen Kehatssöhne.

And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Aner and her suburbes, and Bileam and her suburbes, for the families of the remnant of the sonnes of Kohath.

71 Gersoms Söhne erhielten von der Sippe des Halbstammes Manasse in Basan Golan mit seinen Weidetriften und Astarot mit den Ihrigen

Vnto the sonnes of Gershom out of the familie of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan, and her suburbes, and Ashtaroth with her suburbes,

72 und vom Stamme Issakar Kedes mit seinen Weidetriften, Dobrat,

And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh and her suburbes, Daberath and her suburbes,

73 Ramot und Anem je mit ihren Weidetriften

Ramoth also and her suburbes, and Anem with her suburbes,

74 und vom Stamme Asser Masal mit seinen Weidetriften, Abdon,

And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal and her suburbes, and Abdon and her suburbes,

75 Chukok und Rechob je mit den Ihrigen,

And Hukok and her suburbs, and Rehob and her suburbes,

76 und vom Stamme Naphtali in Galiläa Kedes mit seinen Weidetriften und Chammon und Kirjatim je mit den seinigen.

And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilea and her suburbes, and Hammon and her suburbes, and Kiriathaim and her suburbes.

77 Die übrigen Merarisöhne erhielten vom Stamme Zabulon Rimmon und Tabor je mit ihren Weidetriften,

Vnto the rest of the children of Merari were giuen out of ye tribe of Zebulun Rimmon and her suburbes, Tabor and her suburbes,

78 und jenseits des Jordans östlich vom Jordan, vom Stamme Ruben in der Steppe Beser mit seinen Weidetriften Ichsa,

And on the other side Iorden by Iericho, euen on the Eastside of Iorden, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wildernesse with her suburbes, and Iahzah with her suburbes,

79 Kedemot und Mephaat je mit den Ihrigen

And Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes,

80 und vom Stamme Gad in Gilead Ramot, Machanaim,

And out of the tribe of Gad Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,

81 Chesbon und Jazer je mit ihren Weidetriften.

And Heshbon with her suburbes, and Iaazer with her suburbes.
