1 Dies sind Davids Söhne, die ihm zu Hebron geboren sind: der Erstgeborene Amnon von der Achinoam aus Jezreel; ein zweiter Daniel, von der Abigail aus Karmel,
Now these were the sons of David that were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn Amnon of Achinoam the Jezrahelitess, the second Daniel of Abigail the Carmelitess.
2 der dritte Absalom, von des Königs von Gesur, Talmai, Tochter Maaka, der vierte Adonia, Chaggits Sohn,

4 Sechs sind ihm zu Hebron geboren. Er regierte hier sieben Jahre sechs Monate, und in Jerusalem regierte er dreiunddreißig Jahre.

5 Folgende sind ihm zu Jerusalem geboren: Sima, Sobab, Natan und Salomo, vier von Ammiels Tochter Batsua,

All these the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines: and they had a sister Thamar.
10 Salomos Sohn ist Rechabeam, dessen Sohn Abia, dessen Sohn Asa, dessen Sohn Josaphat,
And Solomon’s son was Roboam: whose son Abia beget Asa. And his son was Josaphat,
11 dessen Sohn Joram, dessen Sohn Achazja, dessen Sohn Joas,
The father of Joram: and Joram begot Ochozias, of whom was born Joas:
12 dessen Sohn Amasja, dessen Sohn Azarja, dessen Sohn Jotam,
And his son Amasias begot Azarias. And Joathan the son of Azarias
13 dessen Sohn Achaz, dessen Sohn Ezechias, dessen Sohn Manasse,
Beget Achaz, the father of Ezechias, of whom was born Manasses.
14 dessen Sohn Amon, dessen Sohn Josias.
And Manasses beget Amen the father of Josias.
15 Des Josias Söhne sind der Erstgeborene Jochanan, der zweite Jojakim, der dritte Sedekia, der vierte Sallum.
And the sons of Josias were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Joakim, the third Sedecias, the fourth Sellum.
16 Jojakims Söhne sind sein Sohn Jechonja und sein Sohn Sedekia.
Of Joakim was born Jechonias, and Sedecias.
17 Die Söhne Jechonjas, des Gefangenen, sind sein Sohn Sealtiel,

18 Malkiram, Pedaja, Senassar, Jekamja, Hosanna und Nedabja.

24 Eljoënais Söhne sind Hodaiva, Eljasib, Pelaja, Akkub, Jochanan, Dejala und Anani, sieben.
The sons of Elioenai, Oduia, and Eliasub, and Pheleia, and Accub, and Johanan, and Dalaia, and Anani, seven.
