1 Chronik 25

1 Ferner bestellte David Dienstobere für die Dienstleistung der Söhne Asaphs, Hemans und Jedutuns, die mit Zithern, Harfen und Zimbeln vorspielen sollten. Es erfolgte aber eine Zählung der mit diesem Dienste Beschäftigten.

And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of the workmen is according to their service.

2 Von Asaphs Söhnen standen Zakkur, Joseph, Netanja und Asarela, Asaphs Söhne, unter Asaph, der nach des Königs Geheiß vorspielte.

Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah; sons of Asaph [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.

3 Von Jedutun standen Jedutuns Söhne Gedalja, Suri, Jesaja, Chasabja und Mattitja, sechs, mit Zithern unter ihrem Vater Jedutun, der beim Danksagen und beim Lobpreise des Herrn vorspielte.

Of Jeduthun, sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, [and Shimei, and] Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, by the side of their father Jeduthun; he is prophesying with a harp, for giving of thanks and of praise for YHWH.

4 Von Heman waren es Hemans Söhne Bukkiahu, Mattanjahu, Uzziel, Sebuel, Jerimot, Chananja, Chanani, Eliata, Giddalti, Romamtiezer, Josbekasa, Malloti, Hotir und Machaziot.

Of Heman, sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;

5 Dies alles sind Söhne Hemans, des königlichen Sehers in göttlichen Dingen und Zeichendeuters. Gott schenkte Heman vierzehn Söhne und drei Töchter.

all these [are] sons of Heman, seer of the king in the things of God, to lift up a horn; and God gives fourteen sons and three daughters to Heman.

6 Diese alle standen unter ihrem Vater beim Gesang im Hause des Herrn, mit Zimbeln, Harfen und Zithern beim Dienst im Gotteshause unter dem König, Asaph, Jedutun und Heman.

All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of YHWH, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 Ihre Zahl nebst der ihrer Brüder, die in den Liedern des Herrn wohlerfahren waren, insgesamt Meister, betrug 288.

And their number, with their brothers taught in the song of YHWH—all who are intelligent—[is] two hundred and eighty-eight.

8 Sie warfen Lose für den Dienst, für den der jüngeren und für den der Älteren, für Meister und Schüler.

And they cause lots to fall, charge next to [charge], the small as well as the great, the intelligent with the learner.

9 Das erste Los Asaphs fiel auf Joseph, das zweite auf Gedalja; er, seine Brüder und Söhne waren zusammen zwölf,

And the first lot goes out for Asaph to Joseph; the second, Gedaliah—him, and his brothers and his sons—twelve;

10 das dritte auf Zakkur; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

the third, Zaccur, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

11 das vierte auf Isri; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

12 das fünfte auf Netanjahu; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

the fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

13 das sechste auf Bukkiahu; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

the sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

14 das siebte auf Jesarela; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

the seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

15 das achte auf Jesajahu; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

the eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

20 das dreizehnte auf Subael; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

21 das vierzehnte auf Mattijahu; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

22 das fünfzehnte auf Jeremot; seine Söhne und Brüder: zwölf,

for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

23 das sechzehnte auf Chananjabu; seine Söhne und Bruder: Zwölf,

the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;
