1 Chronik 2
1 Dies sind Israels Söhne: Ruben, Simeon, Levi und Juda, Issakar und Zabulon,
These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2 Dan, Joseph und Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad und Asser.
Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Judas Söhne sind: Er, Onan und Sela, drei, die ihm von Suas Tochter, der Kanaaniterin, geboren sind. Judas Erstgeborener machte sich dem Herrn mißfällig, und dieser ließ ihn sterben.
Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, firstborn of Judah, is evil in the eyes of YHWH, and He puts him to death.
4 Seine Schwiegertochter Tamar aber gebar ihm Peres und Zerach. Aller Söhne Judas sind es fünf.

5 Des Peres Söhne sind Chesron und Chamul.
Sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamul.
6 Des Zerach Söhne sind Zimri, Etan, Heman, Kalkol und Dara, zusammen fünf.
And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.
7 Des Karmi Söhne sind: Akar, der Israel ins Unglück stürzte, da er sich am Geweihten pflichtvergessen vergriff.
And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.
8 Etans Söhne sind: Azarja.
And sons of Ethan: Azariah.
9 Chesrons Söhne, die ihm geboren worden, sind Jerachmeel, Ram und Kelubai.
And sons of Hezron who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10 Ram zeugte Aminadab und Aminadab den Nachson, den Judäerfürsten.
And Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;
11 Nachson zeugte Salma und Salma den Boaz.
and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz,
12 Boaz zeugte Obed und Obed den Isai.
and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;
13 Und Isai zeugte als seinen Erstgeborenen Eliab, als zweiten Abinadab, als dritten Sima,
and Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
14 als vierten Natanael, als fünften Raddai,
Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 als sechsten Osem und als siebten David.

16 Ihre Schwestern sind Seruja und Abigail. Der Seruja Söhne sind Absai, Joab und Asael, drei.
and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El—three.
17 Abigail gebar Amasa. Des Amasa Vater ist der Ismaeliter Jeter.
And Abigail has borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmaelite.
18 Chesrons Sohn Kaleb hat Azuba geheiratet. Dies sind ihre Söhne: Jeser, Sobab und Ardon.
And Caleb son of Hezron has begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Als Azuba starb, nahm sich Kaleb die Ephrat. Sie gebar ihm den Chur.
And Azubah dies, and Caleb takes Ephrath to himself, and she bears Hur to him.
20 Chur aber zeugte Uri und Uri den Besalel.
And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.
21 Hernach ist Chesron zur Tochter Makirs, des Vaters von Gilead, gegangen und hat sie geheiratet, als er sechzig Jahre alt war, und sie gebar ihm den Segub.
And afterward Hezron has gone in to a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he has taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she bears Segub to him.
22 Segub aber zeugte Jair. Dieser besaß dreiundzwanzig Städte im Lande Gilead.
And Segub begot Jair, and he has twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead,
23 Aber die Gesuriter und die Aramäer nahmen ihnen Jairs Zeltdörfer weg, Kenat mit seinen Tochterstädten, sechzig Städte. Alle diese waren die Söhne des Gileadvaters Makir.
and he takes Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities—all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
24 Nach Chesrons Tod ging Kaleb nach Ephrat. Chesrons Weib aber war Abia, und sie gebar ihm Aschur, Tekoas Vater.
And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even bears to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.
25 Jerachmeels, des Erstgeborenen des Chesron, Söhne waren der Erstgeborene Ram, dann Buna, Oren, Osem und Achia.
And sons of Jerahmeel, firstborn of Hezron, are: the firstborn Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26 Jerachmeel hatte noch ein anderes Weib mit Namen Atara. Sie war Onams Mutter.
And Jerahmeel has another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.
27 Rams, des Erstgeborenen von Jerachmeel, Söhne sind Maan, Jamin und Eker.
And sons of Ram, firstborn of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 Onams Söhne sind Sammai und Jada. Sammais Söhne sind Nadab und Abisur.
And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 Abisurs Weib hieß Abichail. Sie gebar ihm Achban und Molid.
And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she bears Ahban and Molid to him.
30 Nadabs Söhne sind Seled und Appaim. Seled starb kinderlos.
And sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled dies without sons.
31 Appaims Söhne sind Isi, Isis Söhne sind: Sesan, Sesans Söhne sind Achlai.
And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 Jadas, Sammais Bruders, Söhne sind Jeter und Jonatan. Jeter aber starb kinderlos.
And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether dies without sons.
33 Jonatans Söhne sind Pelet und Zaza. Dies sind Jerachmeels Söhne.
And sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Sesan hatte keine Söhne gehabt, sondern nur Töchter. Dagegen besaß Sesan einen ägyptischen Sklaven namens Jarcha.
And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan has a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,
35 Seinem Sklaven Jarcha aber gab Sesan seine Tochter zum Weibe, und sie gebar ihm den Attai.
and Sheshan gives his daughter to his servant Jarha for a wife, and she bears Attai to him;
36 Attai zeugte Natan und Natan den Zabad.
and Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad,
37 Zabad zeugte Ephlal und Ephlal den Obed.
and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed,
38 Obed zeugte Jehu und Jehu den Azarja.
and Obed begot Jehu,
39 Azarja hat Cheles gezeugt und Cheles den Elasa.
and Jehu begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah,
40 Elasa zeugte Sismai und Sismai den Sallum.
and Eleasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum,
41 Sallum zeugte Jekamja und Jekamja den Elisama.

And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.
43 Chebrons Söhne sind Korach, Tappuach, Rekem und Sema.
And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 Sema zeugte Jorkams Vater Racham, und Rekem zeugte Sammai.
And Shema begot Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begot Shammai.
45 Sammais Sohn ist Maon, und Maon ist der Vater von Bet Sur.
And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.
46 Kalebs Nebenweib Epha gebar Charan, Mosa und Gazez. Charan zeugte Gazez.
And Ephah concubine of Caleb bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.
47 Jahdais Söhne sind Regem, Jotam, Gesan, Pelet, Epha und Saaph.
And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Kalebs Nebenweib Maaka gebar Seber und Tirchana.
The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bore Sheber and Tirhanah;
49 Sie gebar auch Saaph, den Vater von Madmanna, Seva, den Vater von Makbenna, und den Vater von Giba. Kalebs Tochter war Aksa.
and she bears Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.
50 Dies sind Kalebs Söhne: Churs, des Erstgeborenen des Ephrat, Söhne sind Sobal, der Vater von Kirjat Jearim,
These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,
51 Salma, der Vater von Bethlehem, und Chareph, der Vater von Bet Gader.
Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.
52 Sobal, Kirjat Jearims Vater, hatte zu Söhnen Haroeh, die Hälfte der Menuchot
And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;
53 und die Sippen Kirjat Jearims, die Itriter, Putiter, Sumatiter und Misraiter. Von diesen stammen die Saratiter und die Estauliter.
and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite. The Zorathite and the Eshtaolite went out from these.
54 Salmas Söhne sind Bethlehem und die Netophatiter, Aterot, Bet Joab und die Hälfte der Manachtiter und der Sariter
Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;
55 und die Sippen der Sopherim, die in Jabes wohnen, die Tiratiter, Simatiter und Sukatiter. Dies sind die Kiniter, die von Chamot, Bet Rekabs Vater, stammen.
and the families of the scribes, the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.
