4 Noë, Sem, Cham, Japhet.
Noah, She, Ham, and Iapheth.
5 Japhets Söhne sind Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Mosek und Tiras.
The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 Gomers Söhne sind Askenaz, Riphat und Togarma.
And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashchenaz, and Iphath and Togarmah.
7 Javans Söhne sind Elisa, Tarsis, Kittim und Rodanim.
Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 Chams Söhne sind Kusch und Misraim, Put und Kanaan.
The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
9 Des Kusch Söhne sind Seba, Chavila, Sabta, Regma und Sabteka, Regmas Söhne sind Seba und Dedan.
And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
10 Und Kusch zeugte Nimrod. Dieser fing an, auf Erden ein Held zu werden.
And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
11 Und Misraim zeugte die Luditer, die Anamiter, die Lehabiter, die Naphtuchiter,
And Mizraim begate Ludim and Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim:
12 die Patrusiter und die Kasluchiter sowie die Kaphtoriter, von denen die Philister auszogen.
Pathrusim also, and Casluhim, of whome came the Philistims, and Caphtorim.
13 Und Kanaan zeugte Sidon als seinen Erstgeborenen und Chet,
Also Canaan begate Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
14 sodann die Jebusiter, Amoriter, Girgasiter,
And the Iebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 Chiviter, Arkiter, Siniter,
And the Hiuuite, and the Arkite, and the Simite,
16 Arvaditer, Semariter und Chamatiter
And the Aruadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Sems Söhne sind Elam, Assur, Arphaksad, Lud, Aram, Us, Chul, Geter und Mesek.
The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Vz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Und Arphaksad zeugte den Selach und Selach den Eber.
Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
19 Zwei Söhne wurden Eber geboren. Des einen Name war Peleg. Denn in seinen Tagen ward die Erde zerteilt. Sein Bruder hieß Joktan.
Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
20 Und Joktan zeugte Almodad, Seleph, Chazarmavet, Jerach,
Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,
21 Hadoram, Uzal, Dikla,
And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,
22 Ebal, Abimael, Seba,
And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ophir, Chavila und Jobab. All diese sind Joktans Söhne.
And Ophir, and Hauilah and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
24 Sem, Arphaksad, Selach,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25 Eber, Peleg, Rëu,
Eber, Peleg, Rehu,
26 Serug, Nachor, Terach,
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 Abram, das ist Abraham.
Abram, which is Abraham.
28 Abrahams Söhne waren Isaak und Ismael.
The sonnes of Abraham were Izhak, and Ishmael.
29 Dies sind ihre Geschlechtsfolgen: Ismaëls Erstgeborener ist Nebajot. Dann folgen Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
These are their generations. The eldest sonne of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 Misma, Duma, Massa, Chadad, Tema,
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 Jetur, Naphis und Kedma. Dies sind die Söhne Ismaëls.
Ietur, Naphish and Kedemah: these are the sonnes of Ishmael.
32 Keturas, des Nebenweibes Abrahams, Söhne sind Zimran, Joksan, Medan, Midian, Isbak und Suach; diese hat sie geboren. Joksans Söhne sind Seba und Dedan.
And Keturah Abrahams concubine bare sonnes, Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah: and the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.
33 Midians Söhne sind Epha, Epher und Chanok, Abida und Eldaa. Alle diese sind Söhne der Ketura.
And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.
34 Und Abraham zeugte den Isaak. Isaaks Söhne sind Esau und Israel.
And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.
35 Esaus Söhne sind Eliphaz, Rëuel, Jeus, Jalam und Korach.
The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
36 Des Eliphaz Söhne sind Teman, Omar, Sephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna und Amalek.
The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Rëuels Söhne sind Nachat, Zerach, Samma und Mizza.
The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
38 Und Seïrs Söhne sind Lotan, Sobal, Sibon, Ana, Dison, Eser und Disan.
And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Lotans Söhne sind Chori und Homam. Timna ist Lotans Schwester.
And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.
40 Sobals Söhne sind Aljan, Manachat, Ebal, Sephi und Onam. Sibons Söhne sind Ajja und Ana.
The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
41 Anas Söhne sind: Dison. Und Disons Söhne sind Chamram, Esban, Itran und Keran.
The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Esers Söhne sind Bilhan, Zaavan und Jakan. Disans Söhne sind Us und Aran.
The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.
43 Dies sind die Könige, die im Lande Edom herrschten, bevor ein König der Israeliten war:
And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
44 Bela, Beors Sohn, und seine Stadt hieß Dinhaba. Als Bela starb, ward des Serach Sohn, Jobab, aus Bosra an seiner Statt König.
Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 Als Jobab starb, ward Chusam aus dem Lande der Temaniter an seiner Statt König.
And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 Als Chusam starb, ward an seiner Statt König Bedads Sohn, Hadad, der Midian auf Moabs Gefilde schlug. Seine Stadt hieß Avit.
And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
47 Als Hadad starb, ward Samla aus Masreha an seiner Statt König.
So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.
48 Als Samla starb, ward Saul aus Rechobot am Strom an seiner Statt König.
And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.
49 Als Saul starb, ward Akbors Sohn, Baalchanan, an seiner Statt König.
And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Als Baalchanan starb, ward Hadad an seiner Statt König. Seine Stadt hieß Pai, und sein Weib, Matreds Tochter und Mezahabs Enkelin, hieß Mehetabel.
And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.
51 Als Hadad starb, gab es nur noch Häuptlinge in Edom: die Häuptlinge Timna, Alja, Jetet,
Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,
52 Oholibama, Ela, Pinon,
Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibsar,
Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54 Magdiel und Iram. Dies sind Edoms Häuptlinge.
Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.
