Offenbarung 2
1 Dem Engel der Versammlung in Ephesus schreibe: Dieses sagt, der die sieben Sterne in seiner Rechten hält, der da wandelt inmitten der sieben goldenen Leuchter:
Unto the messenger of the congregacion of Ephesus wryte: These thynges sayth he that holdeth the vii. starres in his right honde and walketh in the myddes of the vii. golden candlestyckes
2 Ich kenne deine Werke und deine Arbeit und dein Ausharren, und daß du Böse nicht ertragen kannst; und du hast die geprüft, welche sich Apostel nennen, und sind es nicht, und hast sie als Lügner erfunden;
I knowe thy workes and thy labour and thy pacience and howe thou cannest not forbeare the which are evyll: and examinedst them which saye they are Apostles and are not: and hast founde them lyars
3 und du hast Ausharren und hast getragen um meines Namens willen, und bist nicht müde geworden.
and dydest wasshe thy self. And hast pacience: and for my names sake hast labored and hast not faynted.
4 Aber ich habe wider dich, daß du deine erste Liebe verlassen hast.
Neverthelesse I have sumwhat agaynst the for thou haste lefte thy fyrst love.
5 Gedenke nun, wovon du gefallen bist, und tue Buße und tue die ersten Werke; wenn aber nicht, so komme ich dir und werde deinen Leuchter aus seiner Stelle wegrücken, wenn du nicht Buße tust.
Remember therfore from whence thou art fallen and repent and do the fyrst workes. Or elles I wyll come vnto the shortly and will remove thy candlestyke out of his place excepte thou repent.
6 Aber dieses hast du, daß du die Werke der Nikolaiten hassest, die auch ich hasse.
But this thou haste because thou hatest ye dedes of the Nicolaitans which dedes I also hate.
7 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre, was der Geist den Versammlungen sagt! Dem, der überwindet, dem werde ich zu essen geben von dem Baume des Lebens, welcher in dem Paradiese Gottes ist.
Lett him yt hath eares heare what ye sprete sayth vnto the congregacions. To him that overcometh will I geve to eate of the tree of lyfe which is in the myddes of ye paradice of god.
8 Und dem Engel der Versammlung in Smyrna schreibe: Dieses sagt der Erste und der Letzte, der starb und wieder lebendig wurde:
And vnto the angell of the congregacion of Smyrna wryte: These thynges sayth he that is fyrst and the laste which was deed and is alive.
9 Ich kenne deine Drangsal und deine Armut (du bist aber reich) und die Lästerung von denen, welche sagen, sie seien Juden, und sind es nicht, sondern eine Synagoge des Satans.
I knowe thy workes and tribulacion and poverte but thou art ryche: And I knowe the blaspemy of them whiche call them selves Iewes and are not: but are the congregacio of sathan.
10 Fürchte nichts von dem, was du leiden wirst. Siehe, der Teufel wird etliche von euch ins Gefängnis werfen, auf daß ihr geprüft werdet, und ihr werdet Drangsal haben zehn Tage. Sei getreu bis zum Tode, und ich werde dir die Krone des Lebens geben.
Feare none of thoo thynges which thou shalt soffre. Beholde the devyll shall caste of you into preson to tempte you and ye shall have tribulacion. x. dayes. Be faythfull vnto the deeth and I will geve the a croune of lyfe.
11 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre was der Geist den Versammlungen sagt! Wer überwindet, wird nicht beschädigt werden von dem zweiten Tode.
Let him that hath ears heare what the sprete sayth to the congregacions: He that overcometh shall not be hurte of the seconde deeth.
12 Und dem Engel der Versammlung in Pergamus schreibe: Dieses sagt, der das scharfe, zweischneidige Schwert hat:
And to the messenger of the congregacion in Pergamos wryte: This sayth he which hath ye sharpe swearde with two edges.
13 Ich weiß, wo du wohnst, wo der Thron des Satans ist; und du hältst fest an meinem Namen und hast meinen Glauben nicht verleugnet, auch in den Tagen, in welchen Antipas mein treuer Zeuge war, der bei euch, wo der Satan wohnt, ermordet worden ist.
I knowe thy workes and where thow dwellest evyn where Sathans seat ys and thou kepest my name and hast not denyed my fayth. And in my dayes Antipas was a faythfull witnes of myne which was slayne amonge you where sathan dwelleth.
14 Aber ich habe ein weniges wider dich, daß du solche dort hast, welche die Lehre Balaams festhalten, der den Balak lehrte, ein Ärgernis vor die Söhne Israels zu legen, Götzenopfer zu essen und Hurerei zu treiben.
But I have a fewe thynges agaynst the: yt thou hast there they that mayntayne the doctryne of Balam which taught in balake to put occasion of syn before the chylderne of Israhell that they shulde eate of meate dedicat vnto ydoles and to commyt fornicacion.
15 Also hast auch du solche, welche in gleicher Weise die Lehre der Nikolaiten festhalten.
Even so hast thou them that mayntayne the doctryne of the Nicolaytans which thynge I hate.
16 Tue nun Buße; wenn aber nicht, so komme ich dir bald und werde Krieg mit ihnen führen mit dem Schwerte meines Mundes.
But be converted or elles I will come vnto the shortly and will fyght agaynste the with thes wearde of my mouth
17 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre, was der Geist den Versammlungen sagt! Dem, der überwindet, dem werde ich von dem verborgenen Manna geben; und ich werde ihm einen weißen Stein geben, und auf den Stein einen neuen Namen geschrieben, welchen niemand kennt, als wer ihn empfängt.
Lett him that hath eares heare what the sprete sayth vnto the congregacios: To him that overcommeth will I geve to eate manna that is hyd and will geve him a whyte stone and in the stone a newe name wrytten which no ma knoweth savinge he that receaveth it.
18 Und dem Engel der Versammlung in Thyatira schreibe: Dieses sagt der Sohn Gottes, der seine Augen hat wie eine Feuerflamme und seine Füße gleich glänzendem Kupfer:
And vnto the messenger of the congregacion of Theatira write: This sayth the sonne of god which hath his eyes lyke vnto a flame of fyre whose fete are like brasse:
19 Ich kenne deine Werke und deine Liebe und deinen Glauben und deinen Dienst und dein Ausharren, und weiß, daß deiner letzten Werke mehr sind als der ersten.
I knowe thy workes and thy love service and fayth and thy paciece and thy dedes which are mo at the last then at the fyrste.
20 Aber ich habe wider dich, daß du das Weib Jesabel duldest, welche sich eine Prophetin nennt, und sie lehrt und verführt meine Knechte, Hurerei zu treiben und Götzenopfer zu essen.
Notwitstondinge I have a feawe thynges agaynst the that thou sofferest that woman Iesabell which called her sylfe a prophetes to teache and to deceave my servauntes to make them commyt fornicacion and to eate meates offered vppe vnto ydoles.
21 Und ich gab ihr Zeit, auf daß sie Buße täte, und sie will nicht Buße tun von ihrer Hurerei.
And I gave her space to repent of her fornicacion and she repented not.
22 Siehe, ich werfe sie in ein Bett und die, welche Ehebruch mit ihr treiben, in große Drangsal, wenn sie nicht Buße tun von ihren Werken.
Beholde I will caste her into a beed and them yt commyt fornicacion wt her into gret adversite excepte they tourne fro their deades.
23 Und ihre Kinder werde ich mit Tod töten, und alle Versammlungen werden erkennen, daß ich es bin, der Nieren und Herzen erforscht: und ich werde euch einem jeden nach euren Werken geben.
And I will kyll her children with deeth. And all the congregacions shall knowe that I am he which searcheth ye reynes and hertes. And I will geve vnto evere one of you accordynge vnto youre workes.
24 Euch aber sage ich, den übrigen, die in Thyatira sind, so viele diese Lehre nicht haben, welche die Tiefen des Satans, wie sie sagen, nicht erkannt haben: ich werfe keine andere Last auf euch;
Vnto you I saye and vnto other of them of Thiatyra as many as have not this lerninge and which have not knowen the depnes of Satha (as they saye) I will put apo you none other burthe
25 doch was ihr habt haltet fest, bis ich komme.
but yt which ye have alreddy. Holde fast tyll I come
26 Und wer überwindet und meine Werke bewahrt bis ans Ende, dem werde ich Gewalt über die Nationen geben;
and whosoever overcometh and kepeth my workes vnto the ende to hym will I geve power over nacios
27 und er wird sie weiden mit eiserner Rute, wie Töpfergefäße zerschmettert werden, wie auch ich von meinem Vater empfangen habe;
and he shall rule them with a rodde of yron: and as the vessels of a potter shall he breake them to shevers. Eve as I receaved of my father
28 und ich werde ihm den Morgenstern geben.
eue so will I geve him ye mornynge starre.
29 Wer ein Ohr hat, höre, was der Geist den Versammlungen sagt!
