Offenbarung 1
1 Offenbarung Jesu Christi, welche Gott ihm gab, um seinen Knechten zu zeigen, was bald geschehen muß; und durch seinen Engel sendend, hat er es seinem Knechte Johannes gezeigt,
The reuelacion of Iesus Christe which god gave vnto him for to shewe vnto his servauntes thinges which muste shortly come to passe. And he sent and shewed by his angell vnto his servaunt Ihon
2 der bezeugt hat das Wort Gottes und das Zeugnis Jesu Christi, alles, was er sah.
which bare recorde of the worde of god and of the testimony of Iesus Christe and of all thinges yt he sawe.
3 Glückselig, der da liest und die da hören die Worte der Weissagung und bewahren, was in ihr geschrieben ist; denn die Zeit ist nahe!
Happy is he that redith and they that heare the wordes of the prophesy and kepe thoo thinges which are written therin. For the tyme is at honde.
4 Johannes den sieben Versammlungen, die in Asien sind: Gnade euch und Friede von dem, der da ist und der da war und der da kommt, und von den sieben Geistern, die vor seinem Throne sind,
Ihon to the. vii. congregacios in Asia. Grace be with you and peace from him which is and which was and which is to come and from the. vii. spretes which are present before his trone
5 und von Jesu Christo, welcher der treue Zeuge ist, der Erstgeborene der Toten und der Fürst der Könige der Erde! Dem, der uns liebt und uns von unseren Sünden gewaschen hat in seinem Blute,
and from Iesus Christ which is a faythfull witnes and fyrst begotte of the deed: and Lorde over the kinges of the erth. Vnto him that loved vs and wesshed vs fro synnes in his awne bloud
6 und uns gemacht hat zu einem Königtum, zu Priestern seinem Gott und Vater: Ihm sei die Herrlichkeit und die Macht von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! Amen. (aiōn g165)
and made vs kinges and Prestes vnto God his father be glory and dominion for ever more. Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 Siehe, er kommt mit den Wolken, und jedes Auge wird ihn sehen, auch die ihn durchstochen haben, und wehklagen werden seinetwegen alle Stämme des Landes. Ja, Amen.
Beholde he commeth with cloudes and all eyes shall se him: and they also which peersed him. And all kinredes of ye erth shall wayle. Even so. Amen.
8 Ich bin das Alpha und das Omega, spricht der Herr, Gott, der da ist und der da war und der da kommt, der Allmächtige.
I am Alpha and Omega the begynninge and the endinge sayth the Lorde almyghty which is and which was and which is to come.
9 Ich, Johannes, euer Bruder und Mitgenosse in der Drangsal und dem Königtum und dem Ausharren in Jesu, war auf der Insel, genannt Patmos, um des Wortes Gottes und des Zeugnisses Jesu willen.
I Ihon youre brother and companyon in tribulacion and in the kyngdom and pacience which is in Iesu Christe was in the yle of Pathmos for the worde of god and for ye witnessynge of Iesu Christe.
10 Ich war an des Herrn Tage im Geiste, und ich hörte hinter mir eine laute Stimme wie die einer Posaune, welche sprach:

11 Was du siehst, schreibe in ein Buch und sende es den sieben Versammlungen: nach Ephesus und nach Smyrna und nach Pergamus und nach Thyatira und nach Sardes und nach Philadelphia und nach Laodicäa.
sayinge: I am Alpha and Omega the fyrst and the laste. That thou seist write in a boke and sende it vnto the congregacions which are in Asia vnto Ephesus and vnto Smyrna and vnto Pargamos and vnto Thiatira and vnto Sardis and vnto Philadelphia and vnto Laodicia.
12 Und ich wandte mich um, die Stimme zu sehen, welche mit mir redete, und als ich mich umgewandt hatte, sah ich sieben goldene Leuchter,
And I turned backe to se the voyce that spake to me. And when I was turned: I sawe. vii golde candelstyckes
13 und inmitten der [sieben] Leuchter einen gleich dem Sohne des Menschen, angetan mit einem bis zu den Füßen reichenden Gewande, und an der Brust umgürtet mit einem goldenen Gürtel;
and in the myddes of the cadelstyckes one lyke vnto ye sone of ma clothed with a lynnen garmet doune to the ground and gyrd aboute the pappes with a golden gyrdle
14 sein Haupt aber und seine Haare weiß wie weiße Wolle, wie Schnee, und seine Augen wie eine Feuerflamme,
His heed and his heares were whyte as whyte woll and as snowe: and his eyes were as a flame of fyre:
15 und seine Füße gleich glänzendem Kupfer, als glühten sie im Ofen, und seine Stimme wie das Rauschen vieler Wasser;
and his fete lyke vnto brasse as though they brent in a fornace: and his voyce as the sounde of many waters.
16 und er hatte in seiner rechten Hand sieben Sterne, und aus seinem Munde ging hervor ein scharfes, zweischneidiges Schwert, und sein Angesicht war, wie die Sonne leuchtet in ihrer Kraft.
And he had in his right honde vii. starres. And out of his mouth wet a sharpe twoo edged swearde. And his face shone eve as the sonne in his strength.
17 Und als ich ihn sah, fiel ich zu seinen Füßen wie tot. Und er legte seine Rechte auf mich und sprach: Fürchte dich nicht! Ich bin der Erste und der Letzte
And when I sawe him I fell at his fete even as deed. And he layde hys ryght honde apon me sayinge vnto me: feare not. I am the fyrst and the laste
19 Schreibe nun, was du gesehen hast, und was ist, und was nach diesem geschehen wird.
wryte therfore the thynges which thou haste sene and the thynges which are and the thynges which shalbe fulfylled hereafter:
20 Das Geheimnis der sieben Sterne, die du in meiner Rechten gesehen hast, und die sieben goldenen Leuchter: Die sieben Sterne sind Engel der sieben Versammlungen, und die sieben Leuchter sind sieben Versammlungen.
and ye mystery of the vii. starres which thou sawest in my ryght honde and the vii. golden candelstyckes. The vii. stares are the messengers of the vii. congregacios: And the vii. candlestyckes which thou sawest are the vii. congregacions.
