Psalm 145
1 Ein Lobgesang. Von David. Ich will dich erheben, mein Gott, du König, und deinen Namen preisen immer und ewiglich.
My God and King, I will proclaim that you are very great/glorious; I will praise you [MTY] now and forever.
2 Jeden Tag will ich dich preisen, und deinen Namen loben immer und ewiglich.
Every day I will praise you; [Yes], I will praise you [MTY] forever.
3 Groß ist Jehova und sehr zu loben, und seine Größe ist unerforschlich.
Yahweh you are great, and (you ought to be praised/people should praise you) very much; [we] cannot fully realize how great you are.
4 Ein Geschlecht wird dem anderen rühmen deine Werke, und deine Machttaten werden sie verkünden.
Parents should tell their children the things that you have done; they should tell their children about your mighty deeds.
5 Reden will ich von der herrlichen Pracht deiner Majestät und von deinen Wundertaten.
They should tell them that you are very glorious and majestic [DOU], and I will (meditate on/think about) [all] your wonderful deeds.
6 Und sie werden sprechen von der Kraft deiner furchtbaren Taten, und deine Großtaten werde ich erzählen.
People will speak about your powerful and awesome deeds, and I will proclaim that you are [very] great.
7 Das Gedächtnis deiner großen Güte werden sie hervorströmen lassen, und deine Gerechtigkeit jubelnd preisen.
People will remember and proclaim that you are very good [to us], and they will sing joyfully that you [always act] justly/fairly.
8 Gnädig und barmherzig ist Jehova, langsam zum Zorn und groß an Güte.
Yahweh, you [are] kind and merciful [to us]; you do not quickly become angry; you faithfully love [us] very much.
9 Jehova ist gut gegen alle, und seine Erbarmungen sind über alle seine Werke.
Yahweh, you are good to everyone, and you are merciful to everything that you have made.
10 Es werden dich loben, Jehova, alle deine Werke, und deine Frommen dich preisen.
Yahweh, [all] the creatures that you [made] will thank you, and all your people will praise you.
11 Sie werden sprechen von der Herrlichkeit deines Reiches und werden reden von deiner Macht,
They will tell [others] that you rule gloriously as [our] king and that you are [very] powerful.
12 um den Menschenkindern kundzutun seine Machttaten und die prachtvolle Herrlichkeit seines Reiches.
[They will do that] in order that everyone will know about your powerful deeds and that you rule [over us] gloriously.
13 Dein Reich ist ein Reich aller Zeitalter, und deine Herrschaft durch alle Geschlechter hindurch.
You will never stop being king; you [will] rule (throughout all generations/forever). Yahweh, you faithfully do all that you have promised to do, and all that you do, you do mercifully.
14 Jehova stützt alle Fallenden und richtet auf alle Niedergebeugten.
Yahweh, you help all those who are discouraged and you lift up all those who (stumble and fall down/are distressed).
15 Aller Augen warten auf dich, und du gibst ihnen ihre Speise zu seiner Zeit;
All of the creatures that you made expect that you [will provide food for them], and you give them food when they need it.
16 Du tust deine Hand auf und sättigst alles Lebendige nach Begehr.
You give food to all living creatures generously [IDM], and you cause them to (be satisfied/have all the food that they need).
17 Jehova ist gerecht in allen seinen Wegen und gütig in allen seinen Taten.
Everything that Yahweh does, he does justly/fairly, and all that he does, he does mercifully.
18 Nahe ist Jehova allen, die ihn anrufen, allen, die ihn anrufen in Wahrheit.
Yahweh (comes near to/is ready to help) all those who call out to him, to those who call to him sincerely.
19 Er tut das Verlangen derer, die ihn fürchten; ihr Schreien hört er und rettet sie.
To all those who revere him, he gives them what they need. He hears them when they cry out to him, and saves/rescues them.
20 Jehova bewahrt alle, die ihn lieben, und alle Gesetzlosen vertilgt er.
Yahweh protects all those who love him, but he will get rid of all the wicked [people].
21 Mein Mund soll das Lob Jehovas aussprechen; und alles Fleisch preise seinen heiligen Namen immer und ewiglich!
I [SYN] will always praise Yahweh; [He is] holy; and I wish/hope that everyone will praise him [MTY] forever.
