Psalm 119
1 Glückselig, die im Wege untadelig sind, die da wandeln im Gesetze Jehovas!
ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Glückselig, die seine Zeugnisse bewahren, die von ganzem Herzen ihn suchen,
Blessed are they who search his testimonies: that seek him with their whole heart.
3 Die auch kein Unrecht tun, in seinen Wegen wandeln!
For they that work iniquity, have not walked in his ways.
4 Du hast deine Vorschriften geboten, um sie fleißig zu beobachten.
Thou hast commanded thy commandments to be kept most diligently.
5 O daß meine Wege gerichtet wären, um deine Satzungen zu beobachten!
O! that my ways may be directed to keep thy justifications.
6 Dann werde ich nicht beschämt werden, wenn ich achthabe auf alle deine Gebote.
Then shall I not be confounded, when I shall look into all thy commandments.
7 Preisen werde ich dich in Aufrichtigkeit des Herzens, wenn ich gelernt habe die Rechte deiner Gerechtigkeit.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned the judgments of thy justice.
8 Deine Satzungen werde ich beobachten; verlaß mich nicht ganz und gar!
I will keep thy justifications: O! do not thou utterly forsake me.
9 Wodurch wird ein Jüngling seinen Pfad in Reinheit wandeln? Indem er sich bewahrt nach deinem Worte.
BETH. By what doth a young man correct his way? by observing thy words.
10 Mit meinem ganzen Herzen habe ich dich gesucht: laß mich nicht abirren von deinen Geboten!
With my whole heart have I sought after thee: let me not stray from thy commandments.
11 In meinem Herzen habe ich dein Wort verwahrt, auf daß ich nicht wider dich sündige.
Thy words have I hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against thee.
12 Gepriesen seiest du, Jehova! Lehre mich deine Satzungen!
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy justifications.
13 Mit meinen Lippen habe ich erzählt alle Rechte deines Mundes.
With my lips I have pronounced all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 An dem Wege deiner Zeugnisse habe ich mich erfreut wie über allen Reichtum.
I have been delighted in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
15 Über deine Vorschriften will ich sinnen und achthaben auf deine Pfade.
I will meditate on thy commandments: and I will consider thy ways.
16 An deinen Satzungen habe ich meine Wonne; deines Wortes werde ich nicht vergessen.
I will think of thy justifications: I will not forget thy words.
17 Tue wohl an deinem Knechte, so werde ich leben; und ich will dein Wort bewahren.
GIMEL. Give bountifully to thy servant, enliven me: and I shall keep thy words.
18 Öffne meine Augen, damit ich Wunder schaue in deinem Gesetz!
Open thou my eyes: and I will consider the wondrous things of thy law.
19 Ein Fremdling bin ich im Lande, verbirg nicht vor mir deine Gebote!
I am a sojourner on the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
20 Zermalmt ist meine Seele vor Verlangen nach deinen Rechten zu aller Zeit.
My soul hath coveted to long for thy justifications, at all times.
21 Gescholten hast du die Übermütigen, die Verfluchten, welche abirren von deinen Geboten.
Thou hast rebuked the proud: they are cursed who decline from thy commandments.
22 Wälze von mir Hohn und Verachtung! Denn deine Zeugnisse habe ich bewahrt.
Remove from reproach and contempt: because I have sought after thy testimonies.
23 Sitzen auch Fürsten und bereden sich wider mich, dein Knecht sinnt über deine Satzungen.
For princes sat, and spoke against me: but thy servant was employed in thy justifications.
24 Deine Zeugnisse sind auch meine Wonne, meine Ratgeber.
For thy testimonies are my (meditation) and thy justifications my counsel.
25 Am Staube klebt meine Seele; belebe mich nach deinem Worte!
DALETH. My soul hath cleaved to the pavement: quicken thou me according to thy word.
26 Meine Wege habe ich erzählt, und du hast mich erhört; lehre mich deine Satzungen!
I have declared my ways, and thou hast heard me: teach me thy justifications.
27 Laß mich verstehen den Weg deiner Vorschriften, und sinnen will ich über deine Wundertaten.
Make me to understand the way of thy justifications: and I shall be exercised in thy wondrous works.
28 Vor Traurigkeit zerfließt in Tränen meine Seele; richte mich auf nach deinem Worte!
My soul hath slumbered through heaviness: strengthen thou me in thy words.
29 Wende von mir ab den Weg der Lüge und gewähre mir dein Gesetz!
Remove from me the way of iniquity: and out of thy law have mercy on me.
30 Den Weg der Treue habe ich erwählt, habe vor mich gestellt deine Rechte.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments I have not forgotten.
31 Ich hange an deinen Zeugnissen; Jehova, laß mich nicht beschämt werden!
I have stuck to thy testimonies, O Lord: put me not to shame.
32 Den Weg deiner Gebote werde ich laufen, wenn du Raum gemacht haben wirst meinem Herzen.
I have run the way of thy commandments, when thou didst enlarge my heart.
33 Lehre mich, Jehova, den Weg deiner Satzungen, und ich will ihn bewahren bis ans Ende.
HE. Set before me for a law the way of thy justifications, O Lord: and I will always seek after it.
34 Gib mir Einsicht, und ich will dein Gesetz bewahren und es halten von ganzem Herzen.
Give me understanding, and I will search thy law; and I will keep it with my whole heart.
35 Laß mich wandeln auf dem Pfade deiner Gebote! Denn an ihm habe ich meine Lust.
Lead me into the path of thy commandments; for this same I have desired.
36 Neige mein Herz zu deinen Zeugnissen und nicht zum Gewinn!
Incline my heart into thy testimonies and not to covetousness.
37 Wende meine Augen ab, daß sie Eitles nicht sehen! Belebe mich in deinen Wegen!
Turn away my eyes that they may not behold vanity: quicken me in thy way.
38 Bestätige deinem Knechte deine Zusage, welche deiner Furcht entspricht!
Establish thy word to thy servant, in thy fear.
39 Wende ab meinen Hohn, den ich fürchte! Denn deine Rechte sind gut.
Turn away my reproach, which I have apprehended: for thy judgments are delightful.
40 Siehe, ich verlange nach deinen Vorschriften; belebe mich in deiner Gerechtigkeit!
Behold I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy justice.
41 Und laß über mich kommen deine Gütigkeiten, Jehova, deine Rettung nach deiner Zusage!
VAU. Let thy mercy also come upon me, O Lord: thy salvation according to thy word.
42 So werde ich Antwort geben dem mich Höhnenden; denn ich vertraue auf dein Wort.
So shall I answer them that reproach me in any thing; that I have trusted in thy words.
43 Und entziehe meinem Munde nicht gänzlich das Wort der Wahrheit! Denn ich harre auf deine Rechte.
And take not thou the word of truth utterly out of my mouth: for in thy words have I hoped exceedingly.
44 Und halten will ich dein Gesetz beständig, immer und ewiglich.
So shall I always keep thy law, for ever and ever.
45 Und ich werde wandeln in weitem Raume; denn nach deinen Vorschriften habe ich getrachtet.
And I walked at large: because I have sought after thy commandments.
46 Und vor Königen will ich reden von deinen Zeugnissen und mich nicht schämen.
And I spoke of thy testimonies before kings: and I was not ashamed.
47 Und ich werde meine Wonne haben an deinen Geboten, die ich liebe,
I meditated also on thy commandments, which I loved.
48 und werde meine Hände aufheben zu deinen Geboten, die ich liebe; und über deine Satzungen will ich sinnen.
And I lifted up my hands to thy commandments, which I loved: and I was exercised in thy justifications.
49 Gedenke des Wortes an deinen Knecht, auf welches du mich hast harren lassen!
ZAIN. Be thou mindful of thy word to thy servant, in which thou hast given me hope.
50 Dies ist mein Trost in meinem Elende, daß deine Zusage mich belebt hat.
This hath comforted me in my humiliation: because thy word hath enlivened me.
51 Die Übermütigen haben mich über die Maßen verspottet; von deinem Gesetz bin ich nicht abgewichen.
The proud did iniquitously altogether: but I declined not from thy law.
52 Ich gedachte, Jehova, deiner Rechte von alters her, und ich tröstete mich.
I remembered, O Lord, thy judgments of old: and I was comforted.
53 Zornglut hat mich ergriffen wegen der Gesetzlosen, die dein Gesetz verlassen.
A fainting hath taken hold of me, because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Deine Satzungen sind meine Gesänge gewesen im Hause meiner Fremdlingschaft.
Thy justifications were the subject of my song, in the place of my pilgrimage.
55 Des Nachts habe ich deines Namens gedacht, Jehova, und ich habe dein Gesetz gehalten.
In the night I have remembered thy name, O Lord: and have kept thy law.
56 Dies ist mir geschehen, weil ich deine Vorschriften bewahrt habe.
This happened to me: because I sought after thy justifications.
57 Mein Teil, Jehova, habe ich gesagt, ist, deine Worte zu bewahren.
HETH. O Lord, my portion, I have said, I would keep the law.
58 Von ganzem Herzen habe ich dich angefleht; sei mir gnädig nach deiner Zusage!
I entreated thy face with all my heart: have mercy on me according to thy word.
59 Ich habe meine Wege überdacht, und meine Füße gekehrt zu deinen Zeugnissen.
I have thought on my ways: and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 Ich habe geeilt und nicht gesäumt, deine Gebote zu halten.
I am ready, and am not troubled: that I may keep thy commandments.
61 Die Bande der Gesetzlosen haben mich umgeben; dein Gesetz habe ich nicht vergessen.
The cords of the wicked have encompassed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
62 Um Mitternacht stehe ich auf, um dich zu preisen wegen der Rechte deiner Gerechtigkeit.
I rose at midnight to give praise to thee; for the judgments of thy justification.
63 Ich bin der Gefährte aller, die dich fürchten, und derer, die deine Vorschriften beobachten.
I am a partaker with all them that fear thee, and that keep thy commandments.
64 Von deiner Güte, Jehova, ist die Erde erfüllt; lehre mich deine Satzungen!
The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy justifications.
65 Du hast Gutes getan an deinem Knechte, Jehova, nach deinem Worte.
TETH. Thou hast done well with thy servant, O Lord, according to thy word.
66 Gute Einsicht und Erkenntnis lehre mich! Denn ich habe deinen Geboten geglaubt.
Teach me goodness and discipline and knowledge; for I have believed thy commandments.
67 Bevor ich gedemütigt ward, irrte ich; jetzt aber bewahre ich dein Wort.
Before I was humbled I offended; therefore have I kept thy word.
68 Du bist gut und guttätig; lehre mich deine Satzungen!
Thou art good; and in thy goodness teach me thy justifications.
69 Lügen haben die Übermütigen wider mich erdichtet; ich bewahre deine Vorschriften von ganzem Herzen.
The iniquity of the proud hath been multiplied over me: but I will seek thy commandments with my whole heart.
70 Ihr Herz ist dick geworden wie Fett; ich habe meine Wonne an deinem Gesetz.
Their heart is curdled like milk: but I have meditated on thy law.
71 Es ist gut für mich, daß ich gedemütigt ward, damit ich deine Satzungen lernte.
It is good for me that thou hast humbled me, that I may learn thy justifications.
72 Besser ist mir das Gesetz deines Mundes als Tausende von Gold und Silber.
The law of thy mouth is good to me, above thousands of gold and silver.
73 Deine Hände haben mich gemacht und bereitet; gib mir Einsicht, und ich will deine Gebote lernen.
JOD. Thy hands have made me and formed me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments.
74 Die dich fürchten, werden mich sehen und sich freuen; denn ich habe auf dein Wort geharrt.
They that fear thee shall see me, and shall be glad: because I have greatly hoped in thy words.
75 Ich weiß, Jehova, daß deine Gerichte Gerechtigkeit sind und daß du mich gedemütigt hast in Treue.
I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are equity: and in thy truth thou hast humbled me.
76 Laß doch deine Güte mir zum Troste sein, nach deiner Zusage an deinen Knecht!
O! let thy mercy be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
77 Laß deine Erbarmungen über mich kommen, so werde ich leben; denn dein Gesetz ist meine Wonne.
Let thy tender mercies come unto me, and I shall live: for thy law is my (meditation)
78 Laß beschämt werden die Übermütigen! Denn sie haben mich gebeugt ohne Grund; ich, ich sinne über deine Vorschriften.
Let the proud be ashamed, because they have done unjustly towards me: but I will be employed in thy commandments.
79 Laß sich zu mir kehren, die dich fürchten und die deine Zeugnisse kennen!
Let them that fear thee turn to me and they that know thy testimonies.
80 Laß mein Herz untadelig sein in deinen Satzungen, damit ich nicht beschämt werde!
Let my heart be undefiled in thy justifications, that I may not be confounded.
81 Meine Seele schmachtet nach deiner Rettung, ich harre auf dein Wort.
CAPH. My soul hath fainted after thy salvation: and in thy word I have very much hoped.
82 Meine Augen schmachten nach deiner Zusage, indem ich spreche: Wann wirst du mich trösten?
My eyes have failed for thy word, saying: When wilt thou comfort me?
83 Denn wie ein Schlauch im Rauche bin ich geworden; deine Satzungen habe ich nicht vergessen.
For I am become like a bottle in the frost: I have not forgotten thy justifications.
84 Wie viele werden der Tage deines Knechtes sein? Wann wirst du Gericht üben an meinen Verfolgern?
How many are the days of thy servant: when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85 Die Übermütigen haben mir Gruben gegraben, sie, die nicht nach deinem Gesetz sind.
The wicked have told me fables: but not as thy law.
86 Alle deine Gebote sind Treue. Sie haben mich verfolgt ohne Grund: hilf mir!
All thy statutes are truth: they have persecuted me unjustly, do thou help me.
87 Wenig fehlte, so hätten sie mich vernichtet auf der Erde; ich aber, ich habe deine Vorschriften nicht verlassen.
They had almost made an end of me upon earth: but I have not forsaken thy commandments.
88 Belebe mich nach deiner Güte, und ich will bewahren das Zeugnis deines Mundes.
Quicken thou me according to thy mercy: and I shall keep the testimonies of thy mouth.
89 In Ewigkeit, Jehova, steht dein Wort fest in den Himmeln;
LAMED. For ever, O Lord, thy word standeth firm in heaven.
90 von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht währt deine Treue; du hast die Erde festgestellt, und sie steht.
Thy truth unto all generations: thou hast founded the earth, and it continueth.
91 Nach deinen Verordnungen stehen sie heute da, denn alle Dinge dienen dir.
By thy ordinance the day goeth on: for all things serve thee.
92 Wäre nicht dein Gesetz meine Wonne gewesen, dann würde ich umgekommen sein in meinem Elende.
Unless thy law had been my (meditation) I had then perhaps perished in my abjection.
93 Nimmermehr werde ich deine Vorschriften vergessen, denn durch sie hast du mich belebt.
Thy justifications I will never forget: for by them thou hast given me life.
94 Ich bin dein, rette mich! Denn ich habe nach deinen Vorschriften getrachtet.
I am thine, save thou me: for I have sought thy justifications.
95 Die Gesetzlosen haben mir aufgelauert, um mich umzubringen; ich achte auf deine Zeugnisse.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I have understood thy testimonies.
96 Von aller Vollkommenheit habe ich ein Ende gesehen; sehr ausgedehnt ist dein Gebot.
I have seen an end to all persecution: thy commandment is exceeding broad.
97 Wie liebe ich dein Gesetz! Es ist mein Sinnen den ganzen Tag.
MEM. O how have I loved thy law, O Lord! it is my meditation all the day.
98 Weiser als meine Feinde machen mich deine Gebote, denn immer sind sie bei mir.
Through thy commandment, thou hast made me wiser than my enemies: for it is ever with me.
99 Verständiger bin ich als alle meine Lehrer, denn deine Zeugnisse sind mein Sinnen.
I have understood more than all my teachers: because thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 Mehr Einsicht habe ich als die Alten, denn deine Vorschriften habe ich bewahrt.
I have had understanding above ancients: because I have sought thy commandments.
101 Von jedem bösen Pfade habe ich meine Füße zurückgehalten, damit ich dein Wort bewahre.
I have restrained my feet from every evil way: that I may keep thy words.
102 Nicht bin ich von deinen Rechten gewichen, denn du, du hast mich unterwiesen.
I have not declined from thy judgments, because thou hast set me a law.
103 Wie süß sind meinem Gaumen deine Worte, mehr als Honig meinem Munde!
How sweet are thy words to my palate! more than honey to my mouth.
104 Aus deinen Vorschriften empfange ich Einsicht; darum hasse ich jeden Lügenpfad.
By thy commandments I have had understanding: therefore have I hated every way of iniquity.
105 Dein Wort ist Leuchte meinem Fuße und Licht für meinen Pfad.
NUN. Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my paths.
106 Ich habe geschworen und halte es aufrecht, zu beobachten die Rechte deiner Gerechtigkeit.
I have sworn and am determined to keep the judgments of thy justice.
107 Ich bin über die Maßen gebeugt; Jehova, belebe mich nach deinem Worte!
I have been humbled, O Lord, exceedingly: quicken thou me according to thy word.
108 Laß dir doch wohlgefallen, Jehova, die freiwilligen Opfer meines Mundes, lehre mich deine Rechte!
The free offerings of my mouth make acceptable, O Lord: and teach me thy judgments.
109 Mein Leben ist stets in meiner Hand, aber dein Gesetz habe ich nicht vergessen.
My soul is continually in my hands: and I have not forgotten thy law.
110 Die Gesetzlosen haben mir eine Schlinge gelegt, aber von deinen Vorschriften bin ich nicht abgeirrt.
Sinners have laid a snare for me: but I have not erred from thy precepts.
111 Deine Zeugnisse habe ich mir als Erbteil genommen auf ewig, denn meines Herzens Freude sind sie.
I have purchased thy testimonies for an inheritance for ever: because they are a joy to my heart.
112 Ich habe mein Herz geneigt, deine Satzungen zu tun ewiglich bis ans Ende.
I have inclined my heart to do thy justifications for ever, for the reward.
113 Die Doppelherzigen hasse ich, und ich liebe dein Gesetz.
SAMECH. I have hated the unjust: and have loved thy law.
114 Mein Bergungsort und mein Schild bist du; auf dein Wort harre ich.
Thou art my helper and my protector: and in thy word I have greatly hoped.
115 Weichet von mir, ihr Übeltäter: ich will die Gebote meines Gottes bewahren.
Depart from me, ye malignant: and I will search the commandments of my God.
116 Unterstütze mich nach deiner Zusage, so werde ich leben; und laß mich nicht beschämt werden in meiner Hoffnung!
Uphold me according to thy word, and I shall live: and let me not be confounded in my expectation.
117 Stütze mich, so werde ich gerettet werden; und ich will stets schauen auf deine Satzungen.
Help me, and I shall be saved: and I will meditate always on thy justifications.
118 Verworfen hast du alle, die von deinen Satzungen abirren; denn Lüge ist ihr Trug.
Thou hast despised all them that fall off from thy judgments; for their thought is unjust.
119 Wie Schlacken hast du hinweggeräumt alle Gesetzlosen der Erde; darum liebe ich deine Zeugnisse.
I have accounted all the sinners of the earth prevaricators: therefore have I loved thy testimonies.
120 Vor deinem Schrecken schaudert mein Fleisch, und ich fürchte mich vor deinen Gerichten.
Pierce thou my flesh with thy fear: for I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 Ich habe Recht und Gerechtigkeit geübt; überlaß mich nicht meinen Bedrückern!
AIN. I have done judgment and justice: give me not up to them that slander me.
122 Sei Bürge für deinen Knecht zum Guten; laß die Übermütigen mich nicht bedrücken!
Uphold thy servant unto good: let not the proud calumniate me.
123 Meine Augen schmachten nach deiner Rettung und nach der Zusage deiner Gerechtigkeit.
My eyes have fainted after thy salvation: and for the word of thy justice.
124 Handle mit deinem Knechte nach deiner Güte, und lehre mich deine Satzungen!
Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy: and teach me thy justifications.
125 Dein Knecht bin ich, gib mir Einsicht, so werde ich deine Zeugnisse erkennen.
I am thy servant: give me understanding that I may know thy testimonies.
126 Es ist Zeit für Jehova zu handeln: sie haben dein Gesetz gebrochen.
It is time, O Lord, to do: they have dissipated thy law.
127 Darum liebe ich deine Gebote mehr als Gold und gediegenes Gold;
Therefore have I loved thy commandments above gold and the topaz.
128 darum halte ich alle deine Vorschriften für recht; jeden Lügenpfad hasse ich.
Therefore was I directed to all thy commandments: I have hated all wicked ways.
129 Wunderbar sind deine Zeugnisse, darum bewahrt sie meine Seele.
PHE. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul hath sought them.
130 Die Eröffnung deines Wortes erleuchtet, gibt Einsicht den Einfältigen.
The declaration of thy words giveth light: and giveth understanding to little ones.
131 Ich habe meinen Mund weit aufgetan und gelechzt, denn ich habe verlangt nach deinen Geboten.
I opened my mouth and panted: because I longed for thy commandments.
132 Wende dich zu mir und sei mir gnädig, nach dem Rechte derer, die deinen Namen lieben!
Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me, according to the judgment of them that love thy name.
133 Befestige meine Schritte in deinem Worte, und laß kein Unrecht mich beherrschen!
Direct my steps according to thy word: and let no iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Erlöse mich von der Bedrückung des Menschen, und ich will deine Vorschriften beobachten.
Redeem me from the calumnies of men: that I may keep thy commandments.
135 Laß dein Angesicht leuchten über deinen Knecht, und lehre mich deine Satzungen!
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: and teach me thy justifications.
136 Wasserbäche fließen herab aus meinen Augen, weil sie dein Gesetz nicht halten.
My eyes have sent forth springs of water: because they have not kept thy law.
137 Gerecht bist du, Jehova, und gerade sind deine Gerichte.
SADE. Thou art just, O Lord: and thy judgment is right.
138 Du hast in Gerechtigkeit deine Zeugnisse geboten und in Treue gar sehr.
Thou hast commanded justice thy testimonies: and thy truth exceedingly.
139 Verzehrt hat mich mein Eifer, denn meine Bedränger haben deine Worte vergessen.
My zeal hath made me pine away: because my enemies forgot thy words.
140 Wohlgeläutert ist dein Wort, und dein Knecht hat es lieb.
Thy word is exceedingly refined: and thy servant hath loved it.
141 Gering bin ich und verachtet; deine Vorschriften habe ich nicht vergessen.
I am very young and despised; but I forgot not thy justifications.
142 Deine Gerechtigkeit ist eine ewige Gerechtigkeit, und dein Gesetz ist Wahrheit.
Thy justice is justice for ever: and thy law is the truth.
143 Angst und Bedrängnis haben mich erreicht; deine Gebote sind meine Wonne.
Trouble and anguish have found me: thy commandments are my (meditation)
144 Gerechtigkeit sind deine Zeugnisse ewiglich; gib mir Einsicht, so werde ich leben.
Thy testimonies are justice for ever: give me understanding, and I shall live.
145 Von ganzem Herzen habe ich gerufen; erhöre mich, Jehova! Ich will deine Satzungen beobachten.
COPH. I cried with my whole heart, hear me, O Lord: I will seek thy justifications.
146 Zu dir habe ich gerufen, rette mich! Und ich will deine Zeugnisse bewahren.
I cried unto thee, save me: that I may keep thy commandments.
147 Der Morgendämmerung bin ich zuvorgekommen und habe geschrieen; auf dein Wort habe ich geharrt.
I prevented the dawning of the day, and cried: because in thy words I very much hoped.
148 Meine Augen sind den Nachtwachen zuvorgekommen, um zu sinnen über dein Wort.
My eyes to thee have prevented the morning: that I might meditate on thy words.
149 Höre meine Stimme nach deiner Güte; Jehova, belebe mich nach deinen Rechten!
Hear thou my voice, O Lord, according to thy mercy: and quicken me according to thy mercy.
150 Es haben sich genaht, die bösen Plänen nachjagen; fern sind sie von deinem Gesetz.
They that persecute me have drawn nigh to iniquity; but they are gone far off from the law.
151 Du bist nahe, Jehova; und alle deine Gebote sind Wahrheit.
Thou art near, O Lord: and all thy ways are truth.
152 Von alters her habe ich aus deinen Zeugnissen gewußt, daß du sie gegründet hast auf ewig.
I have known from the beginning concerning thy testimonies: that thou hast founded them for ever.
153 Sieh an mein Elend und befreie mich! Denn dein Gesetz habe ich nicht vergessen.
RES. See my humiliation and deliver me: for I have not forgotten the law.
154 Führe meinen Rechtsstreit und erlöse mich! Belebe mich nach deiner Zusage!
Judge my judgment and redeem me: quicken thou me for thy word’s sake.
155 Fern ist von den Gesetzlosen Rettung, denn nach deinen Satzungen trachten sie nicht.
Salvation is far from sinners; because they have not sought thy justifications.
156 Deiner Erbarmungen sind viele, Jehova; belebe mich nach deinen Rechten!
Many, O Lord, are thy mercies: quicken me according to thy judgment.
157 Viele sind meiner Verfolger und meiner Bedränger; von deinen Zeugnissen bin ich nicht abgewichen.
Many are they that persecute me, and afflict me; but I have not declined from thy testimonies.
158 Die Treulosen habe ich gesehen, und es ekelte mich an, weil sie dein Wort nicht bewahrten.
I beheld the transgressors, and I pined away; because they kept not thy word.
159 Sieh, daß ich deine Vorschriften lieb habe; nach deiner Güte, Jehova, belebe mich!
Behold I have loved thy commandments, O Lord; quicken me thou in thy mercy.
160 Die Summe deines Wortes ist Wahrheit, und alles Recht deiner Gerechtigkeit währt ewiglich.
The beginning of thy words is truth: all the judgments of thy justice are for ever.
161 Fürsten haben mich verfolgt ohne Ursache; aber vor deinem Worte hat mein Herz sich gefürchtet.
SIN. Princes have persecuted me without cause: and my heart hath been in awe of thy words.
162 Ich freue mich über dein Wort wie einer, der große Beute findet.
I will rejoice at thy words, as one that hath found great spoil.
163 Lüge hasse und verabscheue ich; ich liebe dein Gesetz.
I have hated and abhorred iniquity; but I have loved thy law.
164 Siebenmal des Tages lobe ich dich um der Rechte deiner Gerechtigkeit willen.
Seven times a day I have given praise to thee, for the judgments of thy justice.
165 Große Wohlfahrt haben die, die dein Gesetz lieben, und kein Fallen gibt es für sie.
Much peace have they that love thy law, and to them there is no stumbling block.
166 Ich habe auf deine Rettung gewartet, Jehova; und deine Gebote habe ich getan.
I looked to thy salvation, O Lord: and I loved thy commandments.
167 Meine Seele hat deine Zeugnisse bewahrt, und ich liebe sie sehr.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies: and hath loved them exceedingly.
168 Deine Vorschriften und deine Zeugnisse habe ich bewahrt, denn alle meine Wege sind vor dir.
I have kept thy commandments and thy testimonies: because all my ways are in thy sight.
169 Laß mein Schreien nahe vor dich kommen, Jehova; gib mir Einsicht nach deinem Worte!
TAU. Let my supplication, O Lord, come near in thy sight: give me understanding according to thy word.
170 Laß vor dich kommen mein Flehen; errette mich nach deiner Zusage!
Let my request come in before thee; deliver thou me according to thy word.
171 Meine Lippen sollen dein Lob hervorströmen lassen, wenn du mich gelehrt hast deine Satzungen.
My lips shall utter a hymn, when thou shalt teach me thy justifications.
172 Meine Zunge soll laut reden von deinem Worte, denn alle deine Gebote sind Gerechtigkeit.
My tongue shall pronounce thy word: because all thy commandments are justice.
173 Laß deine Hand mir zu Hilfe kommen! Denn ich habe deine Vorschriften erwählt.
Let thy hand be with me to save me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
174 Ich sehne mich nach deiner Rettung, Jehova; und dein Gesetz ist meine Wonne.
I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my (meditation)
175 Laß meine Seele leben, und sie wird dich loben; und deine Rechte mögen mir helfen!
My soul shall live and shall praise thee: and thy judgments shall help me.
176 Ich bin umhergeirrt wie ein verlorenes Schaf; suche deinen Knecht! Denn ich habe deine Gebote nicht vergessen.
I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost: seek thy servant, because I have not forgotten thy commandments.
