Philipper 4
1 Daher, meine geliebten und ersehnten Brüder, meine Freude und Krone, also stehet fest im Herrn, Geliebte!
Therfor, my britheren most dereworthe and most desirid, my ioye and my coroun, so stonde ye in the Lord, most dere britheren.
2 Die Evodia ermahne ich, und die Syntyche ermahne ich, einerlei gesinnt zu sein im Herrn.
Y preye Eucodiam, and biseche Synticem, to vndurstonde the same thing in the Lord.
3 Ja, ich bitte auch dich, mein treuer Mitknecht, stehe ihnen bei, die in dem Evangelium mit mir gekämpft haben, auch mit Clemens und meinen übrigen Mitarbeitern, deren Namen im Buche des Lebens sind.
Also Y preye and thee, german felow, helpe thou the ilke wymmen that traueliden with me in the gospel, with Clement and othere myn helperis, whos names ben in the book of lijf.
4 Freuet euch in dem Herrn allezeit! Wiederum will ich sagen: Freuet euch!
Ioye ye in the Lord euere more; eft Y seie, ioye ye.
5 Laßt eure Gelindigkeit kundwerden allen Menschen; der Herr ist nahe.
Be youre pacyence knowun to alle men; the Lord is niy.
6 Seid um nichts besorgt, sondern in allem lasset durch Gebet und Flehen mit Danksagung eure Anliegen vor Gott kundwerden;
Be ye nothing bisi, but in al preyer and biseching, with doyng of thankyngis, be youre axyngis knowun at God.
7 und der Friede Gottes, der allen Verstand übersteigt, wird eure Herzen und euren Sinn bewahren in Christo Jesu.
And the pees of God, that passith al wit, kepe youre hertis and vndurstondingis in Crist Jhesu.
8 Übrigens, Brüder, alles was wahr, alles was würdig, alles was gerecht, alles was rein, alles was lieblich ist, alles was wohllautet, wenn es irgend eine Tugend und wenn es irgend ein Lob gibt, dieses erwäget.
Fro hennus forth, britheren, what euere thingis ben sothe, what euere thingis chast, what euere thingis iust, what euere thingis hooli, what euere thingis able to be louyd, what euere thingis of good fame, if ony vertu, if ony preising of discipline, thenke ye these thingis,
9 Was ihr auch gelernt und empfangen und gehört und an mir gesehen habt, dieses tut, und der Gott des Friedens wird mit euch sein.
that also ye han lerud, and take, and heed, and seyn in me. Do ye these thingis, and God of pees schal be with you.
10 Ich habe mich aber im Herrn sehr gefreut, daß ihr endlich einmal wieder aufgelebt seid, meiner zu gedenken; wiewohl ihr auch meiner gedachtet, aber ihr hattet keine Gelegenheit.

11 Nicht daß ich dies des Mangels halber sage, denn ich habe gelernt, worin ich bin, mich zu begnügen.

12 Ich weiß sowohl erniedrigt zu sein, als ich weiß, Überfluß zu haben; in jedem und in allem bin ich unterwiesen, sowohl satt zu sein als zu hungern, sowohl Überfluß zu haben als Mangel zu leiden.
And Y can also be lowid, Y can also haue plentee. Euery where and in alle thingis Y am tauyt to be fillid, and to hungur, and to abounde, and to suffre myseiste.
13 Alles vermag ich in dem, der mich kräftigt.
Y may alle thingis in hym that coumfortith me.
14 Doch habt ihr wohlgetan, daß ihr an meiner Drangsal teilgenommen habt.
Netheles ye han doon wel, comynynge to my tribulacioun.
15 Ihr wisset aber auch, ihr Philipper, daß im Anfang des Evangeliums, als ich aus Macedonien wegging, keine Versammlung mir in Bezug auf Geben und Empfangen mitgeteilt hat, als nur ihr allein.
For and ye, Filipensis, witen, that in the bigynnyng of the gospel, whanne Y wente forth fro Macedonye, no chirche comynede with me in resoun of thing youun and takun, but ye aloone.
16 Denn auch in Thessalonich habt ihr mir einmal und zweimal für meine Notdurft gesandt.
Whiche senten to Tessalonyk onys and twies also in to vss to me.
17 Nicht daß ich die Gabe suche, sondern ich suche die Frucht, die überströmend sei für eure Rechnung.
Not for Y seke yifte, but Y requyre fruyt aboundinge in youre resoun.
18 Ich habe aber alles in Fülle und habe Überfluß; ich bin erfüllt, da ich von Epaphroditus das von euch Gesandte empfangen habe, einen duftenden Wohlgeruch, ein angenehmes Opfer, Gott wohlgefällig.
For Y haue alle thingis, and abounde; Y am fillid with tho thingis takun of Epafrodite, whiche ye senten in to the odour of swetnesse, a couenable sacrifice, plesynge to God.
19 Mein Gott aber wird alle eure Notdurft erfüllen nach seinem Reichtum in Herrlichkeit in Christo Jesu.
And my God fil alle youre desire, by hise richessis in glorie in Crist Jhesu.
But to God and oure fadir be glorie in to worldis of worldis. (aiōn g165)
21 Grüßet jeden Heiligen in Christo Jesu. Es grüßen euch die Brüder, die bei mir sind.
Amen. Grete ye wel euery hooli man in Crist Jhesu.
22 Es grüßen euch alle Heiligen, und besonders die aus des Kaisers Hause.
Tho britheren that ben with me, greten you wel. Alle hooli men greten you wel, moost sotheli thei that ben of the emperouris hous.
23 Die Gnade des Herrn Jesus Christus sei mit eurem Geiste! Amen.
