Markus 6
1 Und er ging von dannen hinweg und kam in seine Vaterstadt, und seine Jünger folgten ihm nach.
And he departed thence, and came into his owne countrey, and his disciples followed him.
2 Und als es Sabbath geworden war, fing er an, in der Synagoge zu lehren; und viele, die zuhörten, erstaunten und sprachen: Woher diesem solches? Und was ist das für eine Weisheit, die ihm gegeben ist, und solche Wunderwerke geschehen durch seine Hände?
And when the Sabbath was come, he began to teach in the Synagogue, and many that heard him, were astonied, and sayd, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdome is this that is giuen vnto him, that euen such great workes are done by his hands?
3 Ist dieser nicht der Zimmermann, der Sohn der Maria, und ein Bruder des Jakobus und Joses und Judas und Simon? Und sind nicht seine Schwestern hier bei uns?
Is not this that carpenter Maries sonne, the brother of Iames and Ioses, and of Iuda and Simon? and are not his sisters here with vs? And they were offended in him.
4 Und sie ärgerten sich an ihm. Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Ein Prophet ist nicht ohne Ehre, außer in seiner Vaterstadt und unter seinen Verwandten und in seinem Hause.
Then Iesus sayd vnto them, A Prophet is not without honour, but in his owne countrey, and among his owne kindred, and in his own house.
5 Und er konnte daselbst kein Wunderwerk tun, außer daß er einigen Schwachen die Hände auflegte und sie heilte.
And he could there doe no great workes, saue that hee layd his hands vpon a fewe sicke folke, and healed them,
6 Und er verwunderte sich über ihren Unglauben. Und er ging durch die Dörfer ringsum und lehrte.
And he marueiled at their vnbeliefe, and went about by ye townes on euery side, teaching.
7 Und er ruft die Zwölfe herzu; und er fing an, sie zu zwei und zwei auszusenden, und gab ihnen Gewalt über die unreinen Geister.
And he called vnto him the twelue, and began to send them forth two and two, and gaue them power ouer vncleane spirits,
8 Und er gebot ihnen, daß sie nichts mit auf den Weg nehmen sollten, als nur einen Stab; keine Tasche, kein Brot, keine Münze in den Gürtel,
And commanded them that they should take nothing for their iourney, saue a staffe onely: neither scrip, neither bread, neither money in their girdles:
9 sondern Sandalen untergebunden; und ziehet nicht zwei Leibröcke an.
But that they should be shod with sandals, and that they should not put on two coates.
10 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wo irgend ihr in ein Haus eintretet, daselbst bleibet, bis ihr von dannen weggeht.
And he sayd vnto them, Wheresoeuer ye shall enter into an house, there abide till ye depart thence.
11 Und welcher Ort irgend euch nicht aufnehmen, und wo man euch nicht hören wird, von dannen gehet hinaus und schüttelt den Staub ab, der unter euren Füßen ist, ihnen zum Zeugnis.
And whosoeuer shall not receiue you, nor heare you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust that is vnder your feete, for a witnes vnto them. Verely I say vnto you, It shalbe easier for Sodom, or Gomorrha at the day of iudgement, then for that citie.
12 Und sie gingen aus und predigten, daß die Buße tun sollten;
And they went out, and preached, that men should amend their liues.
13 und sie trieben viele Dämonen aus und salbten viele Schwache mit Öl und heilten sie.
And they cast out many deuils: and they anointed many that were sicke, with oyle, and healed them.
14 Und der König Herodes hörte von ihm (denn sein Name war bekannt geworden) und sagte: Johannes der Täufer ist aus den Toten auferstanden, und darum wirken solche Kräfte in ihm.
Then King Herod heard of him (for his name was made manifest) and sayd, Iohn Baptist is risen againe from the dead, and therefore great workes are wrought by him.
15 Andere aber sagten: Es ist Elias; und andere sagten: Es ist ein Prophet, wie einer der Propheten.
Other sayd, It is Elias, and some sayd, It is a Prophet, or as one of those Prophets.
16 Als aber Herodes es hörte, sagte er: Johannes, den ich enthauptet habe, dieser ist auferweckt.
So when Herod heard it, he said, It is Iohn whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.
17 Denn er, Herodes, hatte hingesandt und den Johannes greifen und ihn im Gefängnis binden lassen, um der Herodias willen, des Weibes seines Bruders Philippus, weil er sie geheiratet hatte.
For Herod him selfe had sent forth, and had taken Iohn, and bound him in prison for Herodias sake, which was his brother Philippes wife, because he had maried her.
18 Denn Johannes hatte dem Herodes gesagt: Es ist dir nicht erlaubt, das Weib deines Bruders zu haben.
For Iohn sayd vnto Herod, It is not lawfull for thee to haue thy brothers wife.
19 Die Herodias aber trug es ihm nach und wollte ihn töten, und sie konnte nicht;
Therefore Herodias layd waite against him, and would haue killed him, but she could not:
20 denn Herodes fürchtete den Johannes, da er wußte, daß er ein gerechter und heiliger Mann war, und er verwahrte ihn; und wenn er ihn gehört hatte, so tat er vieles, und er hörte ihn gern.
For Herod feared Iohn, knowing that hee was a iust man, and an holy, and reuerenced him, and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
21 Und als ein geeigneter Tag kam, als Herodes an seinem Geburtstage seinen Großen und den Obersten und den Vornehmsten von Galiläa ein Gastmahl machte, und ihre,
But the time being conuenient, when Herod on his birth day made a banket to his princes and captaines, and chiefe estates of Galile:
22 der Herodias, Tochter hereinkam und tanzte, gefiel sie dem Herodes und denen, die mit zu Tische lagen. Und der König sprach zu dem Mägdlein: Bitte von mir, was irgend du willst, und ich werde es dir geben.
And the daughter of the same Herodias came in, and daunced, and pleased Herod, and them that sate at table together, the King sayd vnto the mayde, Aske of me what thou wilt, and I will giue it thee.
23 Und er schwur ihr: Was irgend du von mir bitten wirst, werde ich dir geben, bis zur Hälfte meines Reiches.
And he sware vnto her, Whatsoeuer thou shalt aske of me, I will giue it thee, euen vnto the halfe of my kingdome.
24 Sie aber ging hinaus und sagte ihrer Mutter: Um was soll ich bitten? Diese aber sprach: Um das Haupt Johannes' des Täufers.
So she went forth, and said to her mother, What shall I aske? And she said, Iohn Baptists head.
25 Und sie ging alsbald mit Eile zu dem König hinein und bat und sagte: Ich will, daß du mir sofort auf einer Schüssel das Haupt Johannes' des Täufers gebest.
Then she came in straightway with haste vnto the King, and asked, saying, I would that thou shouldest giue me euen now in a charger the head of Iohn Baptist.
26 Und der König wurde sehr betrübt; doch um der Eide und um derer willen, die mit zu Tische lagen, wollte er sie nicht zurückweisen.
Then the King was very sory: yet for his othes sake, and for their sakes which sate at table with him, he would not refuse her.
27 Und alsbald schickte der König einen von der Leibwache und befahl, sein Haupt zu bringen.
And immediatly the King sent the hangman, and gaue charge that his head shoulde be brought in. So he went and beheaded him in the prison,
28 Der aber ging hin und enthauptete ihn im Gefängnis; und er brachte sein Haupt auf einer Schüssel und gab es dem Mägdlein, und das Mägdlein gab es ihrer Mutter.
And brought his head in a charger, and gaue it to the maide, and the maide gaue it to her mother.
29 Und als seine Jünger es hörten, kamen sie und hoben seinen Leichnam auf und legten ihn in eine Gruft.
And when his disciples heard it, they came and tooke vp his body, and put it in a tombe.
30 Und die Apostel versammeln sich zu Jesu; und die berichteten ihm alles, was sie getan und was sie gelehrt hatten.
And the Apostles gathered themselues together to Iesus, and tolde him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.
31 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Kommet ihr selbst her an einen öden Ort besonders und ruhet ein wenig aus. Denn derer, die da kamen und gingen, waren viele, und sie fanden nicht einmal Zeit, um zu essen.
And he sayd vnto them, Come ye apart into the wildernes, and rest a while: for there were many commers and goers, that they had not leasure to eate.
32 Und sie gingen hin in einem Schiffe an einen öden Ort besonders;
So they went by ship out of the way into a desart place.
33 und viele sahen sie wegfahren und erkannten sie, und liefen zu Fuß von allen Städten dorthin zusammen und kamen ihnen zuvor.
But the people sawe them when they departed, and many knewe him, and ran a foote thither out of all cities, and came thither before them, and assembled vnto him.
34 Und als Jesus aus dem Schiffe trat, sah er eine große Volksmenge und wurde innerlich bewegt über sie; denn sie waren wie Schafe, die keinen Hirten haben. Und er fing an, sie vieles zu lehren.
Then Iesus went out, and sawe a great multitude, and had compassion on them, because they were like sheepe which had no shepheard: and he began to teach them many things.
35 Und als es schon spät am Tage war, traten seine Jünger zu ihm und sagen: Der Ort ist öde, und es ist schon spät am Tage;
And when the day was nowe farre spent, his disciples came vnto him, saying, This is a desart place, and nowe the day is farre passed.
36 entlaß sie, auf daß sie hingehen auf das Land und in die Dörfer ringsum und sich Brote kaufen, denn sie haben nichts zu essen.
Let them depart, that they may goe into the countrey and townes about, and buy them bread: for they haue nothing to eate.
37 Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Gebet ihr ihnen zu essen. Und sie sagen zu ihm: Sollen hingehen und für zweihundert Denare Brote kaufen und ihnen zu essen geben?
But he answered, and said vnto them, Giue yee them to eate. And they said vnto him, Shall we goe, and buy two hundreth peny worth of bread, and giue them to eate?
38 Er aber spricht zu ihnen: Wie viele Brote habt ihr? Gehet hin [und] sehet. Und als sie es wußten, sagen sie: Fünf, und zwei Fische.
Then he sayde vnto them, Howe many loaues haue ye? goe and looke. And when they knewe it, they sayd, Fiue, and two fishes.
39 Und er befahl ihnen, daß sie alle sich lagern ließen, in Gruppen, auf dem grünen Grase.
So he commanded them to make them all sit downe by companies vpon the greene grasse.
40 Und sie lagerten sich in Abteilungen zu je hundert und je fünfzig.
Then they sate downe by rowes, by hundreds, and by fifties.
41 Und er nahm die fünf Brote und die zwei Fische, blickte auf gen Himmel, segnete und brach die Brote und gab sie seinen Jüngern, auf daß sie ihnen vorlegten; und die zwei Fische verteilte er unter alle.
And he tooke the fiue loaues, and the two fishes, and looked vp to heauen, and gaue thanks, and brake the loaues, and gaue them to his disciples to set before them, and the two fishes he deuided among them all.
42 Und sie aßen alle und wurden gesättigt.
So they did all eate, and were satisfied.
43 Und sie hoben auf an Brocken zwölf Handkörbe voll, und von den Fischen.
And they tooke vp twelue baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
44 Und es waren derer, welche von den Broten gegessen hatten, fünftausend Männer.
And they that had eaten, were about fiue thousand men.
45 Und alsbald nötigte er seine Jünger, in das Schiff zu steigen und an das jenseitige Ufer nach Bethsaida vorauszufahren, während er die Volksmenge entläßt.
And straightway he caused his disciples to goe into the ship, and to goe before vnto the other side vnto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.
46 Und als er sie verabschiedet hatte, ging er hin auf den Berg, um zu beten.
Then assoone as he had sent them away, he departed into a mountaine to pray.
47 Und als es Abend geworden, war das Schiff mitten auf dem See, und er allein auf dem Lande.
And when euen was come, the ship was in the mids of the sea, and he alone on the land.
48 Und als er sie beim Rudern Not leiden sah, denn der Wind war ihnen entgegen, kommt er um die vierte Nachtwache zu ihnen, wandelnd auf dem See; und er wollte an ihnen vorübergehen.
And he saw them troubled in rowing, (for the winde was contrary vnto them) and about the fourth watch of the night, hee came vnto them, walking vpon the sea, and would haue passed by them.
49 Sie aber, als sie ihn auf dem See wandeln sahen, meinten, es sei ein Gespenst, und schrieen auf;
And when they saw him walking vpon the sea, they supposed it had bene a spirit, and cried out.
50 denn alle sahen ihn und wurden bestürzt. Und alsbald redete er mit ihnen und spricht zu ihnen: Seid gutes Mutes, ich bin's; fürchtet euch nicht!
For they all saw him, and were sore afrayd: but anon he talked with them, and said vnto them, Be ye of good comfort: it is I, be not afrayd.
51 Und er stieg zu ihnen in das Schiff, und der Wind legte sich. Und sie erstaunten sehr über die Maßen bei sich selbst und verwunderten sich;
Then he went vp vnto them into the ship, and the winde ceased, and they were much more amased in them selues, and marueiled.
52 denn sie waren durch die Brote nicht verständig geworden, denn ihr Herz war verhärtet.
For they had not considered the matter of the loaues, because their hearts were hardened.
53 Und als sie hinübergefahren waren, kamen sie in das Land Genezareth und legten an.
And they came ouer, and went into the land of Gennesaret, and arriued.
54 Und als sie aus dem Schiffe gestiegen waren, erkannten sie ihn alsbald
So when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knewe him,
55 und liefen in jener ganzen Umgegend umher und fingen an, die Leidenden auf den Betten umherzutragen, wo sie hörten, daß er sei.
And ran about throughout all that region round about, and began to cary hither and thither in couches all that were sicke, where they heard that he was.
56 Und wo irgend er eintrat in Dörfer oder Städte oder aufs Land, legten sie die Kranken auf den Marktplätzen hin und baten ihn, daß sie nur die Quaste seines Kleides anrühren dürften; und so viele irgend ihn anrührten, wurden geheilt.
And whithersoeuer he entred into townes, or cities, or villages, they laide their sicke in the streetes, and prayed him that they might touch at the least the edge of his garment. And as many as touched him, were made whole.
