Markus 11
1 Und als sie Jerusalem, Bethphage und Bethanien nahen, gegen den Ölberg hin, sendet er zwei seiner Jünger und spricht zu ihnen:
AND when he drew nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, to the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
2 Gehet hin in das Dorf, das euch gegenüber liegt; und alsbald, wenn ihr in dasselbe kommet, werdet ihr ein Füllen angebunden finden, auf welchem kein Mensch je gesessen hat; bindet es los und führet es her.
and saith unto them, Go into the village opposite to you: and immediately as you enter it, you will find a foal tied, on which no man yet hath rode; loose him, and bring him hither.
3 Und wenn jemand zu euch sagt: Warum tut ihr dies? so saget: Der Herr bedarf seiner; und alsbald sendet er es hierher.
And if any man say to you, Why do ye this? say, That the Lord hath need of it; and immediately he will send it hither.
4 Sie aber gingen hin und fanden ein Füllen angebunden an der Tür draußen auf dem Wege; und sie binden es los.
And they went, and found the foal tied to a gate without, where two ways met; and they untie him.
5 Und etliche von denen, die daselbst standen, sprachen zu ihnen: Was tut ihr, daß ihr das Füllen losbindet?
Then some of those who stood by, said unto them, What are ye about, untying the colt?
6 Sie aber sprachen zu ihnen, wie Jesus gesagt hatte.
Then they said unto them, as Jesus commanded them: and they permitted them to do it.
7 Und sie ließen sie. Und sie führten das Füllen zu Jesu und legten ihre Kleider darauf, und er setzte sich auf dasselbe.
And they brought the colt to Jesus, and put on him their garments; and he rode upon it.
8 Viele aber breiteten ihre Kleider aus auf den Weg; andere hieben Zweige von den Bäumen [und streuten sie auf den Weg];
And multitudes spread their garments on the road: and others cut off boughs from the trees, and strewed them on the road.
9 und die vorangingen und nachfolgten, riefen: Hosanna! Gepriesen sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn!
And they who went before, and who followed after, cried, saying, Hosanna: blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
10 Gepriesen sei das kommende Reich unseres Vaters David! Hosanna in der Höhe!
Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that is coming in the name of the Lord: hosanna in the highest.
11 Und er zog in Jerusalem ein und ging in den Tempel; und als er über alles umhergeblickt hatte, ging er, da es schon spät an der Zeit war, mit den Zwölfen hinaus nach Bethanien.
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and looking round about upon all things, it being now even-tide, he departed to Bethany with the twelve.
12 Und des folgenden Tages, als sie von Bethanien weggegangen waren, hungerte ihn. Und als er von ferne einen Feigenbaum sah,
And on the morrow, as they were coming out of Bethany, he was hungry:
13 der Blätter hatte, ging er hin, ob er vielleicht etwas an ihm fände; und als er zu ihm kam, fand er nichts als nur Blätter, denn es war nicht die Zeit der Feigen.
and seeing a fig-tree at a distance, full of leaves, he went to it, expecting probably that he might find some fruit upon it: and when he came to it, he found none, only leaves: for it was not a good season for figs.
14 Und er hob an und sprach zu ihm: Nimmermehr esse jemand Frucht von dir in Ewigkeit! Und seine Jünger hörten es. (aiōn g165)
And Jesus spake and said to it, Let no man eat fruit from thee henceforth for ever. And his disciples heard him. (aiōn g165)
15 Und sie kommen nach Jerusalem. Und als er in den Tempel eingetreten war, fing er an auszutreiben, die im Tempel verkauften und kauften; und die Tische der Wechsler und die Sitze der Taubenverkäufer stieß er um.
And they came to Jerusalem and Jesus entered into the temple, and began to cast out those who sold and bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of those who sold doves;
16 Und er erlaubte nicht, daß jemand ein Gefäß durch den Tempel trug.
and would not suffer that any person should carry a vessel through the temple.
17 Und er lehrte und sprach zu ihnen: Steht nicht geschrieben: “Mein Haus wird ein Bethaus genannt werden für alle Nationen”? “Ihr aber habt es zu einer Räuberhöhle gemacht”.
And he taught them, saying, Is it not written, that “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations?” but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 Und die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten hörten es und suchten, wie sie ihn umbrächten; denn sie fürchteten ihn, weil die ganze Volksmenge sehr erstaunt war über seine Lehre.
And the scribes and chief priests heard him, and sought how they might destroy him: for they were afraid of him, because all the people were exceedingly struck with his teaching,
19 Und wenn es Abend wurde, ging er zur Stadt hinaus.
And when the evening came, he went away out of the city.
20 Und als sie frühmorgens vorbeigingen, sahen sie den Feigenbaum verdorrt von den Wurzeln an.
And in the morning, as they were passing by, they saw the fig-tree withered from the roots.
21 Und Petrus erinnerte sich und spricht zu ihm: Rabbi, siehe, der Feigenbaum, den du verfluchtest, ist verdorrt.
And Peter reminding him said, Rabbi, behold, the fig-tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 Und Jesus antwortet und spricht zu ihnen: Habet Glauben an Gott.
And Jesus answering said to them, Have faith in God.
23 Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer irgend zu diesem Berge sagen wird: Werde aufgehoben und ins Meer geworfen! und nicht zweifeln wird in seinem Herzen, sondern glauben, daß geschieht, was er sagt, dem wird werden [was irgend er sagen wird].
For verily I say to you, That whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou lifted up, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall harbour no doubt in his heart, but believe that what he saith shall come to pass; whatsoever he may speak shall be done for him.
24 Darum sage ich euch: Alles, um was irgend ihr betet und bittet, glaubet, daß ihr es empfanget, und es wird euch werden.
Therefore I say unto you, That all things whatever ye ask in prayer, believe that ye shall receive them, and they shall be given you.
25 Und wenn ihr im Gebet dastehet, so vergebet, wenn ihr etwas wider jemand habt, auf daß auch euer Vater, der in den Himmeln ist, euch eure Übertretungen vergebe.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have a matter against any man: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 Wenn ihr aber nicht vergebet, so wird euer Vater, der in den Himmeln ist, auch eure Übertretungen nicht vergeben.
But if ye forgive not, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
27 Und sie kommen wiederum nach Jerusalem. Und als er in dem Tempel umherwandelte, kommen die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten und
And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, come to him,
28 die Ältesten zu ihm und sagen zu ihm: In welchem Recht tust du diese Dinge? Und wer hat dir dieses Recht gegeben, daß du diese Dinge tust?
and say to him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority, that thou shouldest do these things?
29 Jesus aber [antwortete und] sprach zu ihnen: Auch ich will euch ein Wort fragen, und antwortet mir, und ich werde euch sagen, in welchem Recht ich diese Dinge tue:
Then Jesus answering said unto them, I also will ask you one question; and answer me; and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 Die Taufe Johannes', war sie vom Himmel oder von Menschen? Antwortet mir.
The baptism of John, was it of heaven, or of men? answer me.
31 Und sie überlegten miteinander und sprachen: Wenn wir sagen: Vom Himmel, so wird er sagen: Warum habt ihr ihm denn nicht geglaubt?
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, If we reply, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
32 Sagen wir aber: Von Menschen... sie fürchteten das Volk; denn alle hielten von Johannes, daß er wirklich ein Prophet war.
but if we say of men―they feared the people: for all men held John to be in truth a prophet.
33 Und sie antworten und sagen zu Jesu: Wir wissen es nicht. Und Jesus [antwortet und] spricht zu ihnen: So sage ich auch euch nicht, in welchem Recht ich diese Dinge tue.
And they answering said to Jesus, We do not know. And Jesus in reply said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
