Johannes 8
1 Jesus aber ging nach dem Ölberg.
But Jhesus wente in to the mount of Olyuete.
2 Frühmorgens aber kam er wiederum in den Tempel, und alles Volk kam zu ihm; und er setzte sich und lehrte sie.
And eerli eft he cam in to the temple; and al the puple cam to hym; and he sat, and tauyte hem.
3 Die Schriftgelehrten und die Pharisäer aber bringen ein Weib [zu ihm], im Ehebruch ergriffen, und stellen sie in die Mitte
And scribis and Fariseis bryngen a womman takun in auoutrye, and thei settiden hir in the myddil,
4 und sagen zu ihm: Lehrer, dieses Weib ist im Ehebruch, auf er Tat selbst, ergriffen worden.
and seiden to hym, Maystir, this womman is now takun in auoutrie.
5 In dem Gesetz aber hat uns Moses geboten, solche zu steinigen; du nun, was sagst du?
And in the lawe Moises comaundide vs to stoone suche; therfor what seist thou?
6 Dies aber sagten sie, ihn zu versuchen, auf daß sie etwas hätten, um ihn anzuklagen. Jesus aber bückte sich nieder und schrieb mit dem Finger auf die Erde.
And thei seiden this thing temptynge hym, that thei myyten accuse hym. And Jhesus bowide hym silf doun, and wroot with his fyngur in the erthe.
7 Als sie aber fortfuhren, ihn zu fragen, richtete er sich auf und sprach zu ihnen: Wer von euch ohne Sünde ist, werfe zuerst den Stein auf sie.
And whanne thei abiden axynge hym, he reiside hym silf, and seide to hem, He of you that is without synne, first caste a stoon in to hir.
8 Und wiederum bückte er sich nieder und schrieb auf die Erde.
And eft he bowide hym silf, and wroot in the erthe.
9 Als sie aber dies hörten, gingen sie einer nach dem anderen hinaus, anfangend von den Ältesten bis zu den Letzten; und Jesus wurde allein gelassen mit dem Weibe in der Mitte.
And thei herynge these thingis, wenten awei oon aftir anothir, and thei bigunnen fro the eldre men; and Jhesus dwelte aloone, and the womman stondynge in the myddil.
10 Als aber Jesus sich aufrichtete [und außer dem Weibe niemand sah], sprach er zu ihr: Weib, wo sind jene, [deine Verkläger]? Hat niemand dich verurteilt?
And Jhesus reiside hym silf, and seide to hir, Womman, where ben thei that accusiden thee? no man hath dampned thee.
11 Sie aber sprach: Niemand, Herr. Jesus aber sprach zu ihr: So verurteile auch ich dich nicht; gehe hin und sündige nicht mehr.]
Sche seide, No man, Lord. Jhesus seide `to hir, Nethir Y schal dampne thee; go thou, and now aftirward nyle thou synne more.
12 Wiederum nun redete Jesus zu ihnen und sprach: Ich bin das Licht der Welt; wer mir nachfolgt, wird nicht in der Finsternis wandeln, sondern wird das Licht des Lebens haben.
Therfor eft Jhesus spak to hem, and seide, Y am the liyt of the world; he that sueth me, walkith not in derknessis, but schal haue the liyt of lijf.
13 Da sprachen die Pharisäer zu ihm: Du zeugst von dir selbst; dein Zeugnis ist nicht wahr.
Therfor the Fariseis seiden, Thou berist witnessyng of thi silf; thi witnessyng is not trewe.
14 Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Auch wenn ich von mir selbst zeuge, ist mein Zeugnis wahr, weil ich weiß, woher ich gekommen bin und wohin ich gehe; ihr aber wisset nicht, woher ich komme und wohin ich gehe.
Jhesus answerde, and seide to hem, And if Y bere witnessyng of my silf, my witnessyng is trewe; for Y woot fro whennus Y cam, and whidur Y go.
15 Ihr richtet nach dem Fleische, ich richte niemand.
But ye witen not fro whennus Y cam, ne whidur Y go. For ye demen aftir the fleisch, but Y deme no man;
16 Wenn ich aber auch richte, so ist mein Gericht wahr, weil ich nicht allein bin, sondern ich und der Vater, der mich gesandt hat.
and if Y deme, my doom is trewe, for Y am not aloone, but Y and the fadir that sente me.
17 Aber auch in eurem Gesetz steht geschrieben, daß das Zeugnis zweier Menschen wahr ist.
And in youre lawe it is writun, that the witnessyng of twei men is trewe.
18 Ich bin es, der von mir selbst zeugt, und der Vater, der mich gesandt hat, zeugt von mir.
Y am, that bere witnessyng of my silf, and the fadir that sente me, berith witnessyng of me.
19 Da sprachen sie zu ihm: Wo ist dein Vater? Jesus antwortete: Ihr kennet weder mich noch meinen Vater; wenn ihr mich gekannt hättet, so würdet ihr auch meinen Vater gekannt haben.
Therfor thei seiden to hym, Where is thi fadir? Jhesus answeride, Nether ye knowen me, nethir ye knowen my fadir; if ye knewen me, perauenture ye schulden knowe also my fadir.
20 Diese Worte redete er in der Schatzkammer, lehrend in dem Tempel; und niemand griff ihn, denn seine Stunde war noch nicht gekommen.
Jhesus spak these wordis in the tresorie, techynge in the temple; and no man took hym, for his our cam not yit.
21 Er sprach nun wiederum zu ihnen: Ich gehe hin, und ihr werdet mich suchen und werdet in eurer Sünde sterben; wo ich hingehe, könnt ihr nicht hinkommen.
Therfor eft Jhesus seide to hem, Lo! Y go, and ye schulen seke me, and ye schulen die in youre synne; whidur Y go, ye moun not come.
22 Da sagten die Juden: Er will sich doch nicht selbst töten, daß er spricht: Wo ich hingehe, könnt ihr nicht hinkommen? -
Therfor the Jewis seiden, Whether he schal sle hym silf, for he seith, Whidur Y go, ye moun not come?
23 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Ihr seid von dem, was unten ist, ich bin von dem, was oben ist; ihr seid von dieser Welt, ich bin nicht von dieser Welt.
And he seide to hem, Ye ben of bynethe, Y am of aboue; ye ben of this world, Y am not of this world.
24 Daher sagte ich euch, daß ihr in euren Sünden sterben werdet; denn wenn ihr nicht glauben werdet, daß ich es bin, so werdet ihr in euren Sünden sterben.
Therfor Y seide to you, that ye schulen die in youre synnes; for if ye bileuen not that Y am, ye schulen die in youre synne.
25 Da sprachen sie zu ihm: Wer bist du? [Und] Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Durchaus das, was ich auch zu euch rede.
Therfor thei seiden to hym, Who art thou? Jhesus seide to hem, The bigynnyng, which also speke to you.
26 Vieles habe ich über euch zu reden und zu richten, aber der mich gesandt hat, ist wahrhaftig; und ich, was ich von ihm gehört habe, das rede ich zu der Welt.
Y haue many thingis to speke, and deme of you, but he that sente me is sothefast; and Y speke in the world these thingis, that Y herde of hym.
27 Sie erkannten nicht, daß er von dem Vater zu ihnen sprach.
And thei knewen not, that he clepide his fadir God.
28 Da sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Wenn ihr den Sohn des Menschen erhöht haben werdet, dann werdet ihr erkennen, daß ich es bin, und daß ich nichts von mir selbst tue, sondern wie der Vater mich gelehrt hat, das rede ich.
Therfor Jhesus seith to hem, Whanne ye han areisid mannus sone, thanne ye schulen knowe, that Y am, and of my silf Y do no thing; but as my fadir tauyte me, Y speke these thingis.
29 Und der mich gesandt hat, ist mit mir; er hat mich nicht allein gelassen, weil ich allezeit das ihm Wohlgefällige tue.
And he that sente me is with me, and lefte me not aloone; for Y do euermore tho thingis, that ben plesynge to hym.
30 Als er dies redete, glaubten viele an ihn.
Whanne he spak these thingis, manye bileueden in hym.
31 Jesus sprach nun zu den Juden, welche ihm geglaubt hatten: Wenn ihr in meinem Worte bleibet, so seid ihr wahrhaft meine Jünger;
Therfor Jhesus seide to the Jewis, that bileueden in hym, If ye dwellen in my word, verili ye schulen be my disciplis;
32 und ihr werdet die Wahrheit erkennen, und die Wahrheit wird euch frei machen.
and ye schulen knowe the treuthe, and the treuthe schal make you fre.
33 Sie antworteten ihm: Wir sind Abrahams Same und sind nie jemandes Knechte gewesen; wie sagst du: Ihr sollt frei werden?
Therfor the Jewis answeriden to hym, We ben the seed of Abraham, and we serueden neuere to man; hou seist thou, That ye schulen be fre?
34 Jesus antwortete ihnen: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Jeder, der die Sünde tut, ist der Sünde Knecht.
Jhesus answeride to hem, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, ech man that doith synne, is seruaunt of synne.
And the seruaunt dwellith not in the hows with outen ende, but the sone dwellith with outen ende. (aiōn g165)
36 Wenn nun der Sohn euch frei machen wird, so werdet ihr wirklich frei sein.
Therfor if the sone make you fre, verili ye schulen be fre.
37 Ich weiß, daß ihr Abrahams Same seid; aber ihr suchet mich zu töten, weil mein Wort nicht Raum in euch findet.
Y woot that ye ben Abrahams sones, but ye seken to sle me, for my word takith not in you.
38 Ich rede, was ich bei meinem Vater gesehen habe, und ihr nun tut, was ihr von eurem Vater gehört habt.
Y speke tho thingis, that Y say at my fadir; and ye doen tho thingis, that ye sayn at youre fadir.
39 Sie antworteten und sprachen zu ihm: Abraham ist unser Vater. Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Wenn ihr Abrahams Kinder wäret, so würdet ihr die Werke Abrahams tun;
Thei answerden, and seiden to hym, Abraham is oure fadir. Jhesus seith to hem, If ye ben the sones of Abraham, do ye the werkis of Abraham.
40 jetzt aber suchet ihr mich zu töten, einen Menschen, der die Wahrheit zu euch geredet hat, die ich von Gott gehört habe; das hat Abraham nicht getan.
But now ye seken to sle `me, a man that haue spoken to you treuthe, that Y herde of God; Abraham dide not this thing.
41 Ihr tut die Werke eures Vaters. [Da] sprachen sie zu ihm: Wir sind nicht durch Hurerei geboren; wir haben einen Vater, Gott.
Ye doen the werkis of youre fadir. Therfor thei seiden to hym, We ben not borun of fornycacioun; we han o fadir, God.
42 Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Wenn Gott euer Vater wäre, so würdet ihr mich lieben, denn ich bin von Gott ausgegangen und gekommen; denn ich bin auch nicht von mir selbst gekommen, sondern er hat mich gesandt.
But Jhesus seith to hem, If God were youre fadir, sotheli ye schulden loue me; for Y passide forth of God, and cam; for nether Y cam of my silf, but he sente me.
43 Warum verstehet ihr meine Sprache nicht? Weil ihr mein Wort nicht hören könnt.
Whi knowen ye not my speche? for ye moun not here my word.
44 Ihr seid aus dem Vater, dem Teufel, und die Begierden eures Vaters wollt ihr tun. Jener war ein Menschenmörder von Anfang und ist in der Wahrheit nicht bestanden, weil keine Wahrheit in ihm ist. Wenn er die Lüge redet, so redet er aus seinem eigenen, denn er ist ein Lügner und der Vater derselben.
Ye ben of the fadir, the deuel, and ye wolen do the desyris of youre fadir. He was a mansleere fro the bigynnyng, and he stood not in treuthe; for treuthe is not in hym. Whanne he spekith lesyng, he spekith of his owne; for he is a liere, and fadir of it.
45 Weil ich aber die Wahrheit sage, glaubet ihr mir nicht.
But for Y seie treuthe, ye bileuen not to me.
46 Wer von euch überführt mich der Sünde? Wenn ich die Wahrheit sage, warum glaubet ihr mir nicht?
Who of you schal repreue me of synne? if Y sey treuthe, whi bileuen ye not to me?
47 Wer aus Gott ist, hört die Worte Gottes. Darum höret ihr nicht, weil ihr nicht aus Gott seid.
He that is of God, herith the wordis of God; therfor ye heren not, for ye ben not of God.
48 Die Juden antworteten und sprachen zu ihm: Sagen wir nicht recht, daß du ein Samariter bist und einen Dämon hast?
Therfor the Jewis answeriden, and seiden, Whether we seien not wel, that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a deuel?
49 Jesus antwortete: Ich habe keinen Dämon, sondern ich ehre meinen Vater, und ihr verunehret mich.
Jhesus answerde, and seide, Y haue not a deuel, but Y onoure my fadir, and ye han vnhonourid me.
50 Ich aber suche nicht meine Ehre: es ist einer, der sie sucht, und der richtet.
For Y seke not my glorye; there is he, that sekith, and demeth.
51 Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wenn jemand mein Wort bewahren wird, so wird er den Tod nicht sehen ewiglich. (aiōn g165)
Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, if ony man kepe my word, he schal not taste deth with outen ende. (aiōn g165)
52 [Da] sprachen die Juden zu ihm: Jetzt erkennen wir, daß du einen Dämon hast. Abraham ist gestorben und die Propheten, und du sagst: Wenn jemand mein Wort bewahren wird, so wird er den Tod nicht schmecken ewiglich. (aiōn g165)
Therfor the Jewis seiden, Now we han knowun, that thou hast a deuel. Abraham is deed, and the prophetis, and thou seist, If ony man kepe my word, he schal not taste deth withouten ende. (aiōn g165)
53 Bist du etwa größer als unser Vater Abraham, der gestorben ist? Und die Propheten sind gestorben. Was machst du aus dir selbst?
Whether thou art grettere than oure fader Abraham, that is deed, and the prophetis ben deed; whom makist thou thi silf?
54 Jesus antwortete: Wenn ich mich selbst ehre, so ist meine Ehre nichts; mein Vater ist es, der mich ehrt, von welchem ihr saget: Er ist unser Gott.
Jhesus answeride, If Y glorifie my silf, my glorie is nouyt; my fadir, is that glorifieth me, whom ye seien, that he is youre God.
55 Und ihr habt ihn nicht erkannt, ich aber kenne ihn; und wenn ich sagte: Ich kenne ihn nicht, so würde ich euch gleich sein, ein Lügner. Aber ich kenne ihn, und ich bewahre sein Wort.
And ye han not knowun hym, but Y haue knowun hym; and if Y seie that Y knowe hym not, Y schal be a liere lich to you; but Y knowe hym, and Y kepe his word.
56 Abraham, euer Vater, frohlockte, daß er meinen Tag sehen sollte, und er sah ihn und freute sich.
Abraham, youre fadir, gladide to se my dai; and he saiy, and ioyede.
57 Da sprachen die Juden zu ihm: Du bist noch nicht fünfzig Jahre alt und hast Abraham gesehen?
Thanne the Jewis seiden to hym, Thou hast not yit fifti yeer, and hast thou seien Abraham?
58 Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Ehe Abraham ward, bin ich.
Therfor Jhesus seide to hem, Treuli, treuli, Y seie to you, bifor that Abraham schulde be, Y am.
59 Da hoben sie Steine auf, damit sie auf ihn würfen. Jesus aber verbarg sich und ging aus dem Tempel hinaus.
Therfor thei token stonys, to caste to hym; but Jhesus hidde hym, and wente out of the temple.
