Jesaja 66
1 So spricht Jehova: Der Himmel ist mein Thron, und die Erde der Schemel meiner Füße. Welches ist das Haus, das ihr mir bauen könntet, und welches der Ort zu meiner Ruhestätte?
Thus says the Lord, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what kind of a house will you build me? and of what kind [is to be] the place of my rest?
2 Hat doch meine Hand dieses alles gemacht, und alles dieses ist geworden, spricht Jehova. Aber auf diesen will ich blicken: auf den Elenden und den, der zerschlagenen Geistes ist, und der da zittert vor meinem Worte.
For all these things are mine, says the Lord: and to whom will I have respect, but to the humble and meek, and the [man] that trembles [at] my words?
3 Wer ein Rind schlachtet, erschlägt einen Menschen; wer ein Schaf opfert, bricht einem Hunde das Genick; wer Speisopfer opfert: es ist Schweinsblut; wer Weihrauch als Gedächtnisopfer darbringt, preist einen Götzen. So wie diese ihre Wege erwählt haben und ihre Seele Lust hat an ihren Scheusalen,
But the transgressor that sacrifices a calf to me, is as he that kills a dog; and he that offers fine flour, as [one that offers] swine's blood; he that gives frankincense for a memorial, is as a blasphemer. Yet they have chosen their own ways, and their soul has delighted in their abominations.
4 ebenso werde ich ihre Mißgeschicke erwählen und ihre Schrecknisse über sie bringen; weil ich gerufen, und niemand geantwortet hat, geredet, und sie nicht gehört haben, sondern getan, was böse ist in meinen Augen, und das erwählten, woran ich kein Gefallen habe.
I also will choose their mockeries, and will recompense their sins upon them; because I called them, and they did not listen to me; I spoke, and they heard not: and they did evil before me, and chose the things wherein I delighted not.
5 Höret das Wort Jehovas, die ihr zittert vor seinem Worte! Es sagen eure Brüder, die euch hassen, die euch verstoßen um meines Namens willen: Jehova erzeige sich herrlich, daß wir eure Freude sehen mögen! Aber sie werden beschämt werden.
Hear the words of the Lord, you that tremble at his word; speak you, our brethren, to them that hate you and abominate you, that the name of the Lord may be glorified, and may appear their joy; but they shall be ashamed.
6 Stimme eines Getöses von der Stadt her! Stimme aus dem Tempel! Stimme Jehovas, der Vergeltung erstattet seinen Feinden!
A voice of a cry from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord rendering recompence to [his] adversaries.
7 Ehe sie Wehen hatte, hat sie geboren; ehe Schmerzen sie ankamen, wurde sie von einem Knaben entbunden.
Before she that travailed brought forth, before the travail-pain came on, she escaped [it] and brought forth a male.
8 Wer hat solches gehört, wer hat dergleichen gesehen? Kann ein Land an einem Tage zur Welt gebracht, oder eine Nation mit einem Male geboren werden? Denn Zion hat Wehen bekommen und zugleich ihre Kinder geboren.
Who has heard such a thing? and who has seen after this manner? Has the earth travailed in one day? or has even a nation been born at once, that Sion has travailed, and brought forth her children?
9 Sollte ich zum Durchbruch bringen und nicht gebären lassen? spricht Jehova; oder sollte ich, der gebären läßt, verschließen? spricht dein Gott.
But I have raised this expectation, yet you have not remembered me, says the Lord: behold, have not I made the bearing and barren woman? says your God.
10 Freuet euch mit Jerusalem und frohlocket über sie, alle, die ihr sie liebet; seid hocherfreut mit ihr, alle, die ihr über sie trauert!
Rejoice, O Jerusalem, and all you that love her hold in her a general assembly: rejoice greatly with her, all that [now] mourn over her:
11 Auf daß ihr sauget und euch sättiget an der Brust ihrer Tröstungen, auf daß ihr schlürfet und euch ergötzet an der Fülle ihrer Herrlichkeit.
that you may suck, and be satisfied with the breast of her consolation; that you may milk out, and delight yourselves with the influx of her glory.
12 Denn so spricht Jehova: Siehe, ich wende ihr Frieden zu wie einen Strom, und die Herrlichkeit der Nationen wie einen überflutenden Bach, und ihr werdet saugen; auf den Armen werdet ihr getragen und auf den Knieen geliebkost werden.
For thus says the Lord, Behold, I turn toward them as a river of peace, and as a torrent bringing upon them in a flood the glory of the Gentiles: their children shall be borne upon the shoulders, and comforted on the knees.
13 Wie einen, den seine Mutter tröstet, also werde ich euch trösten; und in Jerusalem sollt ihr getröstet werden.
As if his mother should comfort one, so will I also comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14 Und ihr werdet es sehen, und euer Herz wird sich freuen; und eure Gebeine werden sprossen wie das junge Gras. Und die Hand Jehovas wird sich kundgeben an seinen Knechten, und gegen seine Feinde wird er ergrimmen.
And you shall see, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall thrive like grass: and the hand of the Lord shall be known to them that fear him, and he shall threaten the disobedient.
15 Denn siehe, Jehova wird kommen im Feuer, und seine Wagen sind wie der Sturmwind, um seinen Zorn zu vergelten in Glut und sein Schelten in Feuerflammen.
For, behold, the Lord will come as fire, and his chariots as a storm, to render his vengeance with wrath, and his rebuke with a flame of fire.
16 Denn durch Feuer und durch sein Schwert wird Jehova Gericht üben an allem Fleische, und der Erschlagenen Jehovas werden viele sein.
For with the fire of the Lord all the earth shall be judged, and all flesh with his sword: many shall be slain by the Lord.
17 Die sich weihen und sich reinigen für die Gärten, hinter einem her in der Mitte; die Schweinefleisch essen und Greuel und Mäuse: allzumal werden sie ein Ende nehmen, spricht Jehova.
They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves in the gardens, and eat swine's flesh in the porches, and the abominations, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the Lord.
18 Und ich, ihre Werke und ihre Gedanken sind vor mir. Es kommt die Zeit, alle Nationen und Sprachen zu versammeln; und sie werden kommen und meine Herrlichkeit sehen.
And I [know] their works and their imagination. I am going to gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 Und ich werde ein Wunderzeichen an ihnen tun, und werde von ihnen Entronnene an die Nationen senden, nach Tarsis, Pul und Lud, die den Bogen spannen, nach Tubal und Jawan, nach den fernen Inseln, die von mir nicht gehört und meine Herrlichkeit nicht gesehen haben; und sie werden meine Herrlichkeit unter den Nationen verkündigen.
And I will leave a sign upon them, and I will send forth them that have escaped of them to the nations, to Tharsis, and Phud, and Lud, and Mosoch, and to Thobel, and to Greece, and to the isles afar off, to those who have not heard my name, nor seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20 Und sie werden alle eure Brüder aus allen Nationen als Opfergabe für Jehova bringen, auf Rossen und auf Wagen und auf Sänften und auf Maultieren und auf Dromedaren, nach meinem heiligen Berge, nach Jerusalem, spricht Jehova, gleichwie die Kinder Israel das Speisopfer in einem reinen Gefäße zum Hause Jehovas bringen.
And they shall bring your brethren out of all nations for a gift to the Lord with horses, and chariots, in litters [drawn by] mules with awnings, to the holy city Jerusalem, said the Lord, as though the children of Israel should bring their sacrifices to me with psalms into the house of the Lord.
21 Und auch aus ihnen werde ich zu Priestern und zu Leviten nehmen, spricht Jehova.
And I will take of them priests and Levites, says the Lord.
22 Denn gleichwie der neue Himmel und die neue Erde, die ich mache, vor mir bestehen, spricht Jehova, also wird euer Same und euer Name bestehen.
For as the new heaven and the new earth, which I make, remain before me, says the Lord, so shall your seed and your name continue.
23 Und es wird geschehen: von Neumond zu Neumond und von Sabbath zu Sabbath wird alles Fleisch kommen, um vor mir anzubeten, spricht Jehova.
And it shall come to pass from month to month, and from sabbath to sabbath, [that] all flesh shall come to worship before me in Jerusalem, says the Lord.
24 Und sie werden hinausgehen und sich die Leichname der Menschen ansehen, die von mir abgefallen sind; denn ihr Wurm wird nicht sterben und ihr Feuer nicht erlöschen, und sie werden ein Abscheu sein allem Fleische.
And they shall go forth, and see the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, and their fire shall not be quenched; and they shall be a spectacle to all flesh.
