5 Mose 26

1 Und es soll geschehen, wenn du in das Land kommst, welches Jehova, dein Gott, dir als Erbteil gibt, und du besitzest es und wohnst darin,

Now when you have come into the land which the Lord is giving you for your heritage, and you have made it yours and are living in it;

2 so sollst du von den Erstlingen aller Frucht des Erdbodens nehmen, die du von deinem Lande einbringen wirst, das Jehova, dein Gott, dir gibt, und sollst sie in einen Korb legen und an den Ort gehen, welchen Jehova, dein Gott, erwählen wird, um seinen Namen daselbst wohnen zu lassen;

You are to take a part of the first-fruits of the earth, which you get from the land which the Lord your God is giving you, and put it in a basket, and go to the place marked out by the Lord your God, as the resting-place of his name.

3 und du sollst zu dem Priester kommen, der in jenen Tagen sein wird, und zu ihm sagen: Ich tue heute Jehova, deinem Gott, kund, daß ich in das Land gekommen bin, welches Jehova unseren Vätern geschworen hat, uns zu geben.

And you are to come to him who is priest at that time, and say to him, I give witness today before the Lord your God, that I have come into the land which the Lord made an oath to our fathers to give us.

4 Und der Priester soll den Korb von deiner Hand nehmen und ihn vor den Altar Jehovas, deines Gottes, niedersetzen.

Then the priest will take the basket from your hand and put it down in front of the altar of the Lord your God.

5 Und du sollst vor Jehova, deinem Gott, anheben und sprechen: Ein umherirrender Aramäer war mein Vater; und er zog nach Ägypten hinab und hielt sich daselbst auf als ein geringes Häuflein; und er wurde daselbst zu einer großen, starken und zahlreichen Nation.

And these are the words which you will say before the Lord your God: My father was a wandering Aramaean, and he went down with a small number of people into Egypt; there he became a great and strong nation:

6 Und die Ägypter mißhandelten uns und bedrückten uns und legten uns einen harten Dienst auf.

And the Egyptians were cruel to us, crushing us under a hard yoke:

7 Da schrieen wir zu Jehova, dem Gott unserer Väter; und Jehova hörte unsere Stimme und sah unser Elend und unsere Mühsal und unseren Druck.

And our cry went up to the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord's ear was open to the voice of our cry, and his eyes took note of our grief and the crushing weight of our work:

8 Und Jehova führte uns aus Ägypten heraus mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem Arm und mit großem Schrecken, und mit Zeichen und mit Wundern;

And the Lord took us out of Egypt with a strong hand and a stretched-out arm, with works of power and signs and wonders:

9 und er brachte uns an diesen Ort und gab uns dieses Land, ein Land, das von Milch und Honig fließt.

And he has been our guide to this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

10 Und nun siehe, ich habe die Erstlinge der Frucht des Landes gebracht, das du, Jehova, mir gegeben hast. Und du sollst sie vor Jehova, deinem Gott, niederlegen und anbeten vor Jehova, deinem Gott;

So now, I have come here with the first of the fruits of the earth which you, O Lord, have given me. Then you will put it down before the Lord your God and give him worship:

11 und du sollst dich freuen all des Guten, das Jehova, dein Gott, dir und deinem Hause gegeben hat, du und der Levit und der Fremdling, der in deiner Mitte ist.

And you will have joy in every good thing which the Lord your God has given to you and to your family; and the Levite, and the man from a strange land who is with you, will take part in your joy.

12 Wenn du fertig bist mit dem Abtragen alles Zehnten deines Ertrages im dritten Jahre, dem Jahre des Zehnten, und du ihn dem Leviten, dem Fremdling, der Waise und der Witwe gegeben hast, damit sie in deinen Toren essen und sich sättigen:

When you have taken out a tenth from the tenth of all your produce in the third year, which is the year when this has to be done, give it to the Levite, and the man from a strange land, and the child without a father, and the widow, so that they may have food in your towns and be full;

13 so sollst du vor Jehova, deinem Gott, sprechen: Ich habe das Heilige aus dem Hause weggeschafft und habe es auch dem Leviten und dem Fremdling, der Waise und der Witwe gegeben, nach all deinem Gebot, das du mir geboten hast; ich habe deine Gebote nicht übertreten noch vergessen.

And say before the Lord your God, I have taken all the holy things out of my house and have given them to the Levite, and the man from a strange land, and him who has no father, and the widow, as you have given me orders: I have kept in mind all your orders, in nothing have I gone against them:

14 Ich habe nicht davon gegessen in meiner Trauer, und habe nicht davon weggeschafft als ein Unreiner, und habe nicht davon für einen Toten gegeben; ich habe der Stimme Jehovas, meines Gottes, gehorcht, ich habe getan nach allem, was du mir geboten hast.

No part of these things has been used for food in a time of weeping, or put away when I was unclean, or given for the dead: I have given ear to the voice of the Lord my God, and have done all you have given me orders to do.

15 Blicke hernieder von deiner heiligen Wohnung, vom Himmel, und segne dein Volk Israel, und das Land, das du uns gegeben, wie du unseren Vätern geschworen hast, ein Land, das von Milch und Honig fließt!

So, looking down from your holy place in heaven, send your blessing on your people Israel and on the land which you have given us, as you said in your oath to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.

16 An diesem Tage gebietet dir Jehova, dein Gott, diese Satzungen und Rechte zu tun: So beobachte und tue sie mit deinem ganzen Herzen und mit deiner ganzen Seele.

Today the Lord your God gives you orders to keep all these laws and decisions: so then keep and do them with all your heart and all your soul.

17 Du hast heute dem Jehova sagen lassen, daß er dein Gott sein soll, und daß du auf seinen Wegen wandeln und seine Satzungen und seine Gebote und seine Rechte beobachten und seiner Stimme gehorchen willst.

Today you have given witness that the Lord is your God, and that you will go in his ways and keep his laws and his orders and his decisions and give ear to his voice:

18 Und Jehova hat dir heute sagen lassen, daß du ihm ein Eigentumsvolk sein sollst, so wie er zu dir geredet hat, und daß du alle seine Gebote beobachten sollst;

And the Lord has made it clear this day that you are a special people to him, as he gave you his word; and that you are to keep all his orders;

19 und daß er dich zur höchsten über alle Nationen machen will, die er gemacht hat, zum Ruhm und zum Namen und zum Schmuck; und daß du Jehova, deinem Gott, ein heiliges Volk sein sollst, so wie er geredet hat.

And that he will make you high over all the nations he has made, in praise, in name, and in honour, and that you are to be a holy people to the Lord your God as he has said.
