2 Samuel 18
1 Und David musterte das Volk, das bei ihm war, und setzte über sie Oberste über tausend und Oberste über hundert.
and to reckon: list David [obj] [the] people: soldiers which with him and to set: appoint upon them ruler thousand and ruler hundred
2 Und David entsandte das Volk: ein Drittel unter der Hand Joabs und ein Drittel unter der Hand Abisais, des Sohnes der Zeruja, des Bruder Joabs, und ein Drittel unter der Hand Ittais, des Gathiters. Und der König sprach zu dem Volke: Auch ich werde gewißlich mit euch ausziehen.
and to send: depart David [obj] [the] people: soldiers [the] third in/on/with hand: power Joab and [the] third in/on/with hand: power Abishai son: child Zeruiah brother: male-sibling Joab and [the] third in/on/with hand: power Ittai [the] Gittite and to say [the] king to(wards) [the] people: soldiers to come out: come to come out: come also I with you
3 Aber das Volk sprach: Du sollst nicht ausziehen; denn wenn wir fliehen müßten, so würden sie nicht auf uns den Sinn richten; und wenn die Hälfte von uns stürbe, so würden sie nicht auf uns den Sinn richten; denn du bist wie unser zehntausend. So ist es nun besser, daß du uns von der Stadt aus zum Beistande bist.
and to say [the] people: soldiers not to come out: come for if to flee to flee not to set: consider to(wards) us heart and if to die half our not to set: consider to(wards) us heart for now like us ten thousand and now pleasant for to be to/for us from city (to/for to help *Q(K)*)
4 Und der König sprach zu ihnen: Was gut ist in euren Augen, will ich tun. Und der König stellte sich an die Seite des Tores, und alles Volk zog aus zu Hunderten und zu Tausenden.
and to say to(wards) them [the] king which be good in/on/with eye: appearance your to make: do and to stand: stand [the] king to(wards) hand: to [the] gate and all [the] people: soldiers to come out: come to/for hundred and to/for thousand
5 Und der König gebot Joab und Abisai und Ittai und sprach: Verfahret mir gelinde mit dem Jüngling, mit Absalom! Und alles Volk hörte es, als der König allen Obersten wegen Absaloms gebot.
and to command [the] king [obj] Joab and [obj] Abishai and [obj] Ittai to/for to say to/for softly to/for me to/for youth to/for Absalom and all [the] people to hear: hear in/on/with to command [the] king [obj] all [the] ruler upon word: thing Absalom
6 Und das Volk zog aus ins Feld, Israel entgegen; und die Schlacht fand statt im Walde Ephraim.
and to come out: come [the] people: soldiers [the] land: country to/for to encounter: toward Israel and to be [the] battle in/on/with (Ephraim) Forest (Forest of) Ephraim
7 Und das Volk von Israel wurde daselbst vor den Knechten Davids geschlagen, und die Niederlage wurde daselbst groß an jenem Tage: zwanzigtausend Mann.
and to strike there people: soldiers Israel to/for face: before servant/slave David and to be there [the] plague great: large in/on/with day [the] he/she/it twenty thousand
8 Und die Schlacht breitete sich daselbst aus über das ganze Land; und der Wald fraß mehr unter dem Volke, als das Schwert an jenem Tage fraß.
and to be there [the] battle (to scatter *Q(K)*) upon face: surface all [the] land: country/planet and to multiply [the] wood to/for to eat in/on/with people from whence to eat [the] sword in/on/with day [the] he/she/it
9 Und Absalom stieß auf die Knechte Davids; und Absalom ritt auf einem Maultier, und das Maultier kam unter die verschlungenen Zweige einer großen Terebinthe; und er blieb mit dem Haupte an der Terebinthe hangen, und schwebte zwischen Himmel und Erde; das Maultier aber, das unter ihm war, lief davon.
and to encounter: meet Absalom to/for face: before servant/slave David and Absalom to ride upon [the] mule and to come (in): come [the] mule underneath: under thicket [the] oak [the] great: large and to strengthen: hold head his in/on/with oak and to give: put between [the] heaven and between [the] land: country/planet and [the] mule which underneath: under him to pass
10 Und ein Mann sah es und berichtete es Joab und sprach: Siehe, ich habe Absalom an einer Terebinthe hangen sehen.
and to see: see man one and to tell to/for Joab and to say behold to see: see [obj] Absalom to hang in/on/with oak
11 Da sprach Joab zu dem Manne, der es ihm berichtete: Siehe, wenn du ihn gesehen hast, warum hast du ihn nicht daselbst zu Boden geschlagen? Und an mir war es, dir zehn Sekel Silber und einen Gürtel zu geben.
and to say Joab to/for man [the] to tell to/for him and behold to see: see and why? not to smite him there land: soil [to] and upon me to/for to give: give to/for you ten silver: money and belt one
12 Aber der Mann sprach zu Joab: Und wenn ich tausend Sekel Silber auf meinen Händen wöge, würde ich meine Hand nicht nach des Königs Sohn ausstrecken; denn vor unseren Ohren hat der König dir und Abisai und Ittai geboten und gesagt: Seid vorsichtig, wer es auch sei, mit dem Jüngling mit Absalom!
and to say [the] man to(wards) Joab (and if *Q(k)*) I to weigh upon palm my thousand silver: money not to send: reach hand my to(wards) son: child [the] king for in/on/with ear: hearing our to command [the] king [obj] you and [obj] Abishai and [obj] Ittai to/for to say to keep: guard who? in/on/with youth in/on/with Absalom
13 Hätte ich aber trüglich gegen sein Leben gehandelt und es bleibt ja keine Sache vor dem König verborgen, so würdest du selbst wider mich auftreten.
or to make: do (in/on/with soul: life my *Q(K)*) deception and all word: thing not to hide from [the] king and you(m. s.) to stand from before
14 Da sprach Joab: Ich mag nicht also vor dir warten. Und er nahm drei Spieße in seine Hand und stieß sie in das Herz Absaloms, während er noch inmitten der Terebinthe lebte.
and to say Joab not so to wait: wait to/for face of your and to take: take three tribe: javelin in/on/with palm his and to blow them in/on/with heart Absalom still he alive in/on/with heart [the] oak
15 Und zehn Knaben, Waffenträger Joabs, umgaben und erschlugen Absalom und töteten ihn.
and to turn: surround ten youth to lift: bearing(armour) article/utensil Joab and to smite [obj] Absalom and to die him
16 Und Joab stieß in die Posaune, und das Volk kehrte um von der Verfolgung Israels; denn Joab hielt das Volk ab.
and to blow Joab in/on/with trumpet and to return: return [the] people: soldiers from to pursue after Israel for to withhold Joab [obj] [the] people: soldiers
17 Und sie nahmen Absalom und warfen ihn in eine große Grube im Walde, und errichteten über ihm einen sehr großen Haufen Steine. Und ganz Israel floh, ein jeder nach seinem Zelte.
and to take: take [obj] Absalom and to throw [obj] him in/on/with wood to(wards) [the] pit [the] great: large and to stand upon him heap stone great: large much and all Israel to flee man: anyone (to/for tent: home his *Q(K)*)
18 Absalom aber hatte bei seinen Lebzeiten eine Denksäule genommen und sich aufgerichtet, die im Königstale steht; denn er sprach: Ich habe keinen Sohn, um meinen Namen in Erinnerung zu halten. Und er hatte die Denksäule nach seinem Namen genannt; und man nennt sie das Denkmal Absaloms, bis auf diesen Tag.
and Absalom to take: take and to stand to/for him (in/on/with life his *Q(K)*) [obj] pillar which in/on/with Valley (of Kings) [the] King's for to say nothing to/for me son: child in/on/with for the sake of to remember name my and to call: call by to/for pillar upon name his and to call: call by to/for her hand: themselves Absalom till [the] day: today [the] this
19 Und Achimaaz, der Sohn Zadoks, sprach: Ich will doch hinlaufen und dem König Botschaft bringen, daß Jehova ihm Recht verschafft hat von der Hand seiner Feinde.
and Ahimaaz son: child Zadok to say to run: run please and to bear tidings [obj] [the] king for to judge him LORD from hand: power enemy his
20 Aber Joab sprach zu ihm: Du sollst nicht Bote sein an diesem Tage, sondern du magst an einem anderen Tage Botschaft bringen; doch an diesem Tage sollst du nicht Botschaft bringen, da ja der Sohn des Königs tot ist.
and to say to/for him Joab not man good news you(m. s.) [the] day [the] this and to bear tidings in/on/with day another and [the] day [the] this not to bear tidings for as that: since (as as *Q(K)*) son: child [the] king to die
21 Und Joab sprach zu dem Kuschiten: Gehe hin, berichte dem König, was du gesehen hast. Und der Kuschit beugte sich nieder vor Joab und lief hin.
and to say Joab to/for Ethiopian to go: went to tell to/for king which to see: see and to bow Ethiopian to/for Joab and to run: run
22 Da sprach Achimaaz, der Sohn Zadoks, wiederum zu Joab: Was auch geschehen möge, laß doch auch mich hinter dem Kuschiten herlaufen! Und Joab sprach: Warum willst du denn laufen, mein Sohn, da für dich keine einträgliche Botschaft da ist? -
and to add: again still Ahimaaz son: child Zadok and to say to(wards) Joab and to be what? to run: run please also I after [the] Ethiopian and to say Joab to/for what? this you(m. s.) to run: run son: child my and to/for you nothing good news to find
23 Was auch geschehen möge, ich will laufen. Und er sprach zu ihm: Laufe! Und Achimaaz lief den Weg des Jordankreises und kam dem Kuschiten zuvor.
and to be what? to run: run and to say to/for him to run: run and to run: run Ahimaaz way: road [the] talent and to pass [obj] [the] Ethiopian
24 Und David saß zwischen den beiden Toren; und der Wächter ging auf das Dach des Tores, auf die Mauer, und er erhob seine Augen und sah, und siehe, ein Mann, der allein lief.
and David to dwell between two [the] gate and to go: walk [the] to watch to(wards) roof [the] gate to(wards) [the] wall and to lift: look [obj] eye his and to see: see and behold man to run: run to/for alone him
25 Und der Wächter rief und berichtete es dem König. Und der König sprach: Wenn er allein ist, so ist eine Botschaft in seinem Munde. Und er kam stets näher und näher.
and to call: call out [the] to watch and to tell to/for king and to say [the] king if to/for alone him good news in/on/with lip his and to go: come to go: come and approaching
26 Da sah der Wächter einen anderen Mann laufen; und der Wächter rief dem Torhüter zu und sprach: Siehe, ein Mann, der allein läuft! Und der König sprach: Auch dieser ist ein Bote.
and to see: see [the] to watch man another to run: run and to call: call to [the] to watch to(wards) [the] gatekeeper and to say behold man to run: run to/for alone him and to say [the] king also this to bear tidings
27 Und der Wächter sprach: Ich sehe den Lauf des ersten an für den Lauf des Achimaaz, des Sohnes Zadoks. Und der König sprach: Das ist ein guter Mann, und er kommt zu guter Botschaft.
and to say [the] to watch I to see: examine [obj] running [the] first like/as running Ahimaaz son: child Zadok and to say [the] king man pleasant this and to(wards) good news pleasant to come (in): come
28 Und Achimaaz rief und sprach zu dem König: Friede! Und er beugte sich vor dem König auf sein Antlitz zur Erde nieder und sprach: Gepriesen sei Jehova, dein Gott, der die Männer überliefert hat, die ihre Hand erhoben haben wider meinen Herrn, den König!
and to call: call out Ahimaaz and to say to(wards) [the] king peace: well-being and to bow to/for king to/for face his land: soil [to] and to say to bless LORD God your which to shut [obj] [the] human which to lift: kindness [obj] hand their in/on/with lord my [the] king
29 Und der König sprach: Geht es dem Jüngling, dem Absalom, wohl? Und Achimaaz sprach: Ich sah ein großes Getümmel, als Joab den Knecht des Königs und deinen Knecht absandte; aber ich weiß nicht, was es war.
and to say [the] king peace: well-being to/for youth to/for Absalom and to say Ahimaaz to see: see [the] crowd [the] great: large to/for to send: depart [obj] servant/slave [the] king Joab and [obj] servant/slave your and not to know what?
30 Und der König sprach: Wende dich, stelle dich hierher. Und er wandte sich und blieb stehen.
and to say [the] king to turn: turn to stand thus and to turn: turn and to stand: stand
31 Und siehe, der Kuschit kam, und der Kuschit sprach: Mein Herr, der König, lasse sich die Botschaft bringen, daß Jehova dir heute Recht verschafft hat von der Hand aller, die wider dich aufgestanden sind.
and behold [the] Ethiopian to come (in): come and to say [the] Ethiopian to bear tidings lord my [the] king for to judge you LORD [the] day from hand: power all [the] to arise: attack upon you
32 Und der König sprach zu dem Kuschiten: Geht es dem Jüngling, dem Absalom, wohl? Und der Kuschit sprach: Wie dem Jüngling, so möge es den Feinden des Königs, meines Herrn, ergehen und allen, die wider dich aufgestanden sind zum Bösen!
and to say [the] king to(wards) [the] Ethiopian peace: well-being to/for youth to/for Absalom and to say [the] Ethiopian to be like/as youth enemy lord my [the] king and all which to arise: attack upon you to/for distress: evil
33 Da wurde der König sehr bewegt, und er stieg hinauf in das Obergemach des Tores und weinte; und während er ging, sprach er also: Mein Sohn Absalom! Mein Sohn, mein Sohn Absalom! Wäre ich doch an deiner Statt gestorben! Absalom, mein Sohn, mein Sohn!
and to tremble [the] king and to ascend: rise upon upper room [the] gate and to weep and thus to say in/on/with to go: went he son: child my Absalom son: child my son: child my Absalom who? to give: if only! to die I I underneath: instead you Absalom son: child my son: child my
