2 Chronik 26
1 Und das ganze Volk von Juda nahm Ussija, der sechzehn Jahre alt war, und sie machten ihn zum König an seines Vaters Amazja Statt.
And they took all [the] people of Judah Uzziah and he [was] a son of six-teen year[s] and they made king him in place of father his Amaziah.
2 Er baute Eloth und brachte es an Juda zurück, nachdem der König sich zu seinen Vätern gelegt hatte.
He he built Elath and he restored it to Judah after lay down the king with ancestors his.
3 Sechzehn Jahre war Ussija alt, als er König wurde, und er regierte zweiundfünfzig Jahre zu Jerusalem; und der Name seiner Mutter war Jekolja, von Jerusalem.
[was] a son of Six-teen year[s] Uzziah when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Jecholiah *Q(K)*) from Jerusalem.
4 Und er tat, was recht war in den Augen Jehovas, nach allem, was sein Vater Amazja getan hatte.
And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.
5 Und er suchte Gott in den Tagen Sekarjas, der kundig war in den Gesichten Gottes; und in den Tagen, da er Jehova suchte, gab Gott ihm Gelingen.
And he was to seek God in [the] days of Zechariah who was skilled in [the] seeing of God and in [the] days of seeking he Yahweh he made prosper him God.
6 Und er zog aus und stritt wider sie Philister, und riß nieder die Mauer von Gath und die Mauer von Jabne und die Mauer von Asdod; und er baute Städte um Asdod her und unter den Philistern.
And he went out and he fought against the Philistines and he made a breach in [the] wall of Gath and [the] wall of Jabneh and [the] wall of Ashdod and he built cities in Ashdod and among the Philistines.
7 Und Gott half ihm wider die Philister und wider die Araber, die zu Gur-Baal wohnten, und wider die Meuniter.
And he helped him God on [the] Philistines and on (the Arabs *Q(k)*) who were dwelling in Gur Baal and the Meunites.
8 Und die Ammoniter gaben Ussija Geschenke, und sein Name drang bis nach Ägypten hin; denn er war überaus stark geworden.
And they paid the Ammonites tribute to Uzziah and it went name his till to [the] entrance of Egypt for he displayed strength to upwards.
9 Und Ussija baute Türme in Jerusalem auf dem Ecktor und auf dem Taltor und auf dem Winkel, und befestigte sie.
And he built Uzziah towers in Jerusalem at [the] gate of the corner and at [the] gate of the valley and at the buttress and he made strong them.
10 Und er baute Türme in der Wüste und grub viele Zisternen; denn er hatte viel Vieh, sowohl in der Niederung als auch in der Ebene, und Ackerleute und Weingärtner im Gebirge und im Fruchtgefilde; denn er liebte den Ackerbau.
And he built towers in the wilderness and he dug wells many for livestock much it belonged to him and in the Shephelah and in the plain farmers and vinedressers in the mountains and in the orchards for loving [the] ground he was.
11 Und Ussija hatte ein kriegführendes Heer, das in Scharen in den Kampf zog, nach der Zahl ihrer Musterung durch Jeghiel, den Schreiber, und Maaseja, den Vorsteher, unter der Leitung Hananjas, eines der Obersten des Königs.
And it belonged to Uzziah an army doing battle [those who] go forth of war to troop[s] by [the] number of muster their by [the] hand of (Jeiel *Q(K)*) the scribe and Maaseiah the official on [the] hand of Hananiah one of [the] officials of the king.
12 Die ganze Zahl der Häupter der Väter der tapferen Helden war zweitausend sechshundert.
All [the] number of [the] heads of the fathers of mighty [men] of strength two thousand and six hundred.
13 Und unter ihrer Leitung stand eine Heeresmacht von dreihundertsiebentausend fünfhundert Mann, welche den Krieg führte mit gewaltiger Kraft, um dem König wider den Feind beizustehen.
And [was] on hand their an army of war three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred doers of battle with power of strength to help the king on the enemy.
14 Und Ussija bereitete ihnen, dem ganzen Heere, Schilde und Lanzen und Helme und Panzer und Bogen und Schleudersteine.
And he prepared for them Uzziah for all the army shields and spears and helmets and body armor and bows and stones of slings.
15 Und er machte zu Jerusalem Maschinen, ein Kunstwerk des Künstlers, daß sie auf den Türmen und auf den Zinnen sein sollten, um mit Pfeilen und mit großen Steinen zu schießen. Und sein Name ging aus bis in die Ferne; denn wunderbar ward ihm geholfen, bis er stark wurde.
And he made - in Jerusalem war engines of invention of an inventor to be on the towers and on the corners to shoot with arrows and with stones large and it went out name his to from a distance for he made wonderful to be helped until for he was strong.
16 Und als er stark geworden war, erhob sich sein Herz, bis er verderbt handelte; und er handelte treulos gegen Jehova, seinen Gott, und trat in den Tempel Jehovas, um auf dem Räucheraltar zu räuchern.
And according to strengthening his it was haughty heart his until behaved corruptly and he acted unfaithfully against Yahweh God his and he went into [the] temple of Yahweh to make smoke on [the] altar of incense.
17 Da kam Asarja, der Priester, hinter ihm her, und mit ihm achtzig Priester Jehovas, wackere Männer;
And he went after him Azariah the priest and [were] with him priests - of Yahweh eighty sons of strength.
18 und sie widerstanden dem König Ussija und sprachen zu ihm: Nicht dir, Ussija, geziemt es, Jehova zu räuchern, sondern den Priestern, den Söhnen Aarons, die geheiligt sind zum Räuchern. Geh aus dem Heiligtum hinaus; denn du hast treulos gehandelt, und es wird dir nicht zur Ehre gereichen von Jehova Gott.
And they took their stand on Uzziah the king and they said to him not [belongs] to you O Uzziah to make smoke to Yahweh for to the priests [the] descendants of Aaron who are consecrated to make smoke go out from the sanctuary for you have acted unfaithfully and not of you for honor from Yahweh God.
19 Aber Ussija wurde zornig; und er hatte in seiner Hand ein Räucherfaß zum Räuchern; und als er über die Priester erzürnte, da brach der Aussatz aus an seiner Stirn, angesichts der Priester im Hause Jehovas neben dem Räucheraltar.
And he was enraged Uzziah and [was] in hand his a censer to make smoke and when enraging he with the priests and skin disease it arose on forehead his before the priests in [the] house of Yahweh from on to [the] altar of incense.
20 Und Asarja, der Hauptpriester, und alle die Priester wandten sich zu ihm, und siehe, er war aussätzig an seiner Stirn, und die trieben ihn eilends von dannen fort; und auch er selbst beeilte sich hinauszukommen, weil Jehova ihn geschlagen hatte.
And he turned to him Azariah [the] priest of the head and all the priests and there! he [was] leprous on forehead his and they hastened him from there and also he he hurried himself to go out for he had struck him Yahweh.
21 Und der König Ussija war aussätzig bis zum Tage seines Todes, und er wohnte in einem Krankenhause als Aussätziger; denn er war von dem Hause Jehovas ausgeschlossen. Und Jotham, sein Sohn, war über das Haus des Königs und richtete das Volk des Landes.
And he was Uzziah the king leprous - until [the] day of death his and he dwelt [the] house of (separateness *Q(k)*) leprous for he was cut off from [the] house of Yahweh and Jotham son his [was] over [the] house of the king judging [the] people of the land.
22 Und das Übrige der Geschichte Ussijas, die erste und die letzte, hat Jesaja geschrieben, der Sohn Amoz', der Prophet.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Uzziah former and latter he has written Isaiah [the] son of Amoz the prophet.
23 Und Ussija legte sich zu seinen Vätern, und man begrub ihn bei seinen Vätern auf dem Begräbnisacker der Könige; denn man sprach: Er ist aussätzig. Und Jotham, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.
And he lay down Uzziah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] field of grave which [belonged] to the kings for they said [was] leprous he and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.
