Sacharja 6
1 Und ich hob wiederum meine Augen auf und sah: und siehe, vier Wagen kamen hervor zwischen zwei Bergen; und die Berge waren Berge von Erz.
And I again lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, there came out four chariots from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of copper.
2 An dem ersten Wagen waren rote Rosse, und an dem zweiten Wagen schwarze Rosse;
In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot, black horses:
3 und an dem dritten Wagen weiße Rosse, und an dem vierten Wagen scheckige, starke Rosse.
And in the third chariot, white horses; and in the fourth chariot, grizzled, ash-colored horses.
4 Und ich hob an und sprach zu dem Engel, der mit mir redete: Mein Herr, was sind diese?
And I began and said unto the angel that spoke with me, What are these, my lord?
5 Und der Engel antwortete und sprach zu mir: Diese sind die vier Winde [O. Geister] des Himmels, welche ausgehen, nachdem sie sich vor den Herrn der ganzen Erde gestellt haben.
And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth after having stood before the Lord of all the earth.
6 An welchem die schwarzen Rosse sind, die ziehen aus nach dem Lande des Nordens; und die weißen ziehen aus hinter ihnen her; und die scheckigen ziehen aus nach dem Lande des Südens;
The [chariot] on which are black horses—these go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grizzled go forth toward the south country.
7 und die starken ziehen aus und trachten hinzugehen, die Erde zu durchziehen. Und er sprach: Gehet, durchziehet die Erde! Und sie durchzogen die Erde.
And the red-colored were gone forth, and sought to traverse the earth: and he said, Go, traverse the earth. So they traversed the earth.
8 Und er rief mir und redete zu mir und sprach: Siehe, diejenigen, welche nach dem Lande des Nordens ausgezogen sind, lassen meinen Geist Ruhe finden [Zugl.: stillen meinen Zorn] im Lande des Nordens.
Then cried he loudly unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, Behold, these that are going toward the north country, have quieted [the indignation of] my spirit in the north country.
9 Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
10 Nimm von den Weggeführten, von Cheldai und von Tobija und von Jedaja, und gehe du an selbigem Tage, gehe in das Haus Josijas, des Sohnes Zephanjas, wohin sie aus Babel gekommen sind-
Take from the exiles, from Cheldai, from Tobiyahu, and from Yeda'yah, and thou shalt come on the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephanyah, whither they have arrived from Babylon;
11 ja, nimm Silber und Gold und mache eine Krone [Eig. Kronen, d. h. eine aus mehreren Reifen bestehende Prachtkrone; so auch v 14.] Und setze sie auf das Haupt Josuas, des Sohnes Jozadaks, des Hohenpriester,
Take also silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak the high priest;
12 und sprich zu ihm und sage: So spricht Jehova der Heerscharen und sagt: Siehe, ein Mann, sein Name ist Sproß; und er wird von seiner Stelle aufsprossen und den Tempel Jehovas bauen.
And thou shalt say unto him as followeth, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold a man, Sprout is his name; since out of his own place shall he sprout up, even he shall build the temple of the Lord:
13 Ja, er wird den Tempel Jehovas bauen; und er wird Herrlichkeit tragen; und er wird auf seinem Throne sitzen und herrschen, und er wird Priester sein auf seinem Throne; und der Rat des Friedens wird zwischen ihnen beiden sein.
Yea, he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and a priest shall be upon his own throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between both of them.
14 Und die Krone soll dem Chelem und Tobija und Jedaja und der Güte [d. h. der von ihm erwiesene Güte; vergl. v 10. And. üb.: und Chen, dem Sohne Zephanjas] des Sohnes Zephanjas zum Gedächtnis sein im Tempel Jehovas.
And the crowns shall be for Chelem, and for Tobiyah, and for Yeda'yah, and for Chen the son of Zephanyah, as a memorial in the temple of the Lord.
15 Und Entfernte werden kommen und am Tempel Jehovas bauen; und ihr werdet erkennen, daß Jehova der Heerscharen mich zu euch gesandt hat. Und dieses wird geschehen, wenn ihr fleißig auf die Stimme Jehovas, eures Gottes, hören werdet.
And distant ones shall come and build on the temple of the Lord, and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God.
