1 Und Noomi hatte einen Verwandten ihres Mannes, einen vermögenden Mann, aus dem Geschlecht Elimelechs, und sein Name war Boas.
and to/for Naomi (kinsman *Q(K)*) to/for man: husband her man mighty man strength from family Elimelech and name his Boaz
2 Und Ruth, die Moabitin, sprach zu Noomi: Laß mich doch aufs Feld gehen und unter den Ähren lesen hinter dem her, in dessen Augen ich Gnade finden werde. Und sie sprach zu ihr: Gehe hin, meine Tochter.
and to say Ruth [the] Moabite to(wards) Naomi to go: went please [the] land: country (and to gather *L(ah+b)*) (in/on/with ear *L(abh)*) after which to find favor in/on/with eye: seeing his and to say to/for her to go: went daughter my
3 Und sie ging hin und kam und las auf dem Felde hinter den Schnittern her; und sie traf zufällig das Feldstück des Boas, der aus dem Geschlecht Elimelechs war.
and to go: went and to come (in): come and to gather in/on/with land: country after [the] to reap and to meet accident her portion [the] land: country to/for Boaz which from family Elimelech
4 Und siehe, Boas kam von Bethlehem und sprach zu den Schnittern: Jehova sei mit euch! Und sie sprachen zu ihm: Jehova segne dich!
and behold Boaz to come (in): come from Bethlehem Bethlehem and to say to/for to reap LORD with you and to say to/for him to bless you LORD
5 Und Boas sprach zu seinem Knechte, [Anderswo: Knabe, Jüngling] der über die Schnitter bestellt war: Wessen ist diese Dirne?
and to say Boaz to/for youth his [the] to stand upon [the] to reap to/for who? [the] maiden [the] this
6 Und der Knecht, [Anderswo: Knabe, Jüngling] der über die Schnitter bestellt war, antwortete und sprach: Es ist eine moabitische Dirne, die mit Noomi aus den Gefilden Moabs zurückgekehrt ist;
and to answer [the] youth [the] to stand upon [the] to reap and to say maiden Moabite he/she/it [the] to return: return with Naomi from land: country Moab
7 und sie sprach: Laß mich doch auflesen und unter den Garben sammeln hinter den Schnittern her! Und so ist sie gekommen und dageblieben vom Morgen an bis jetzt; was sie im Hause gesessen hat, ist wenig.

8 Und Boas sprach zu Ruth: Hörst du, meine Tochter? gehe nicht, um auf einem anderen Felde aufzulesen, und gehe auch nicht von hinnen, sondern halte dich hier zu meinen Mägden.

9 Deine Augen seien auf das Feld gerichtet, welches man schneidet, und gehe hinter ihnen her; habe ich nicht den Knaben geboten, dich nicht anzutasten? Und wenn dich dürstet, so gehe zu den Gefäßen und trinke von dem, was die Knaben schöpfen.

10 Da fiel sie auf ihr Angesicht und beugte sich zur Erde nieder und sprach zu ihm: Warum habe ich Gnade gefunden in deinen Augen, daß du mich beachtest, da ich doch eine Fremde bin?

11 Und Boas antwortete und sprach zu ihr: Es ist mir alles wohl berichtet worden, was du an deiner Schwiegermutter getan hast nach dem Tode deines Mannes, indem du deinen Vater und deine Mutter und das Land deiner Geburt verlassen hast und zu einem Volke gezogen bist, das du früher nicht kanntest.
and to answer Boaz and to say to/for her to tell to tell to/for me all which to make: do with mother-in-law your after death man: husband your and to leave: forsake (father your *L(abh)*) and mother your and land: country/planet relatives your and to go: come to(wards) people which not to know yesterday three days ago
12 Jehova vergelte dir dein Tun, und voll sei dein Lohn von Jehova, dem Gott Israels, unter dessen Flügeln Zuflucht zu suchen du gekommen bist!

13 Und sie sprach: Möge ich Gnade finden in deinen Augen, mein Herr! denn du hast mich getröstet und hast zum Herzen deiner Magd geredet, und doch bin ich nicht wie eine deiner Mägde.

14 Und Boas sprach zu ihr zur Zeit des Essens: Tritt hierher, und iß von dem Brote und tunke deinen Bissen in den Essig. Da setzte sie sich zur Seite der Schnitter; und er reichte ihr geröstete Körner, und sie aß und wurde satt und ließ übrig.
and to say to/for her Boaz to/for time [the] food to approach: approach here and to eat from [the] food: bread and to dip morsel your in/on/with vinegar and to dwell from side [the] to reap and to serve to/for her roasted and to eat and to satisfy and to remain
15 Und sie stand auf, um aufzulesen; und Boas gebot seinen Knaben und sprach: Auch zwischen den Garben mag sie auflesen, und ihr sollt sie nicht beschämen; [O. ihr nichts zuleide tun]
and to arise: rise to/for to gather and to command Boaz [obj] youth his to/for to say also between [the] sheaf to gather and not be humiliated her
16 und auch sollt ihr selbst aus den Bündeln Ähren für sie herausziehen und sie liegen lassen, damit sie sie auflese, und sollt sie nicht schelten.
and also to take to take to/for her from [the] bundle and to leave: forsake and to gather and not to rebuke in/on/with her
17 Und sie las auf dem Felde auf bis zum Abend, und sie schlug aus, was sie aufgelesen hatte, und es war bei einem Epha Gerste.

18 Und sie nahm es auf und kam in die Stadt, und ihre Schwiegermutter sah, was sie aufgelesen hatte; und sie zog hervor und gab ihr, was sie übriggelassen, nachdem sie sich gesättigt hatte.

19 Da sprach ihre Schwiegermutter zu ihr: Wo hast du heute aufgelesen, und wo hast du gearbeitet? Gesegnet sei, der dich beachtet hat! Und sie tat ihrer Schwiegermutter kund, bei wem sie gearbeitet hatte, und sprach: Der Name des Mannes, bei dem ich heute gearbeitet habe, ist Boas.
and to say to/for her mother-in-law her where? to gather [the] day and where? to make: do to be to recognize you to bless and to tell to/for mother-in-law her [obj] which to make: do with him and to say name [the] man which to make: do with him [the] day Boaz
20 Da sprach Noomi zu ihrer Schwiegertochter: Gesegnet sei er von Jehova, dessen Güte nicht abgelassen hat von den Lebenden und von den Toten! Und Noomi sprach zu ihr: Der Mann ist uns nahe verwandt, er ist einer von unseren Blutsverwandten [Eig. Lösern; so auch nachher. Vergl. 3. Mose 25,25 usw.: 5. Mose 25,5.]
and to say Naomi to/for daughter-in-law her to bless he/she/it to/for LORD which not to leave: forsake kindness his with [the] alive and with [the] to die and to say to/for her Naomi near to/for us [the] man from to redeem: redeem our he/she/it
21 Und Ruth, die Moabitin, sprach: Er hat auch zu mir gesagt: Du sollst dich zu meinen Leuten halten, bis sie meine ganze Ernte beendigt haben.
and to say Ruth [the] Moabite also for to say to(wards) me with [the] youth which to/for me to cleave [emph?] till if: until to end: finish [obj] all [the] harvest which to/for me
22 Und Noomi sprach zu Ruth, ihrer Schwiegertochter: Es ist gut, meine Tochter, daß du mit seinen Dirnen ausgehst, daß man dich nicht anfalle [O. dir begegne] auf einem anderen Felde.
and to say Naomi to(wards) Ruth daughter-in-law her pleasant daughter my for to come out: come with maiden his and not to fall on in/on/with you in/on/with land: country another
23 Und so hielt sie sich zu den Dirnen des Boas, um aufzulesen, bis die Gerstenernte und die Weizenernte beendigt waren. Und sie wohnte bei ihrer Schwiegermutter.
and to cleave in/on/with maiden Boaz to/for to gather till to end: finish harvest [the] barley and harvest [the] wheat and to dwell with mother-in-law her
