Psalm 67

1 [Dem Vorsänger, mit Saitenspiel. Ein Psalm, ein Lied. [Eig. Ein Lied-Psalm] ] Gott sei uns gnädig und segne uns, er lasse sein Angesicht leuchten über [W. mit, bei] uns, (Sela)

“To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm or song.” May God be gracious unto us, and bless us; may he cause his face to shine upon us. (Selah)

2 Daß man auf der Erde erkenne deinen Weg, unter allen Nationen deine Rettung!

That upon earth men may know thy way, among all nations thy salvation.

3 Es werden [O. mögen; so auch v 4 u. 5] dich preisen die Völker, o Gott; es werden [O. mögen; so auch v 4 u. 5] dich preisen die Völker alle.

The people will thank thee, O God; the people, all of them together, will thank thee.

4 Es werden sich freuen und jubeln die Völkerschaften; denn du wirst die Völker richten in Geradheit, und die Völkerschaften auf der Erde, du wirst sie leiten. (Sela)

Nations will rejoice and sing for joy: when thou judgest the people righteously, and guidest the nations upon earth. (Selah)

5 Es werden dich preisen die Völker, o Gott; es werden dich preisen die Völker alle.

The people will thank thee, O God; the people, all of them together, will thank thee.

6 Die Erde gibt ihren Ertrag; Gott, unser Gott, wird uns segnen.

The earth yieldeth her products: [yea, ] God, our own God, bless us.

7 Gott wird uns segnen, und alle Enden der Erde werden ihn fürchten.

God will bless us: and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
