Psalm 30
1 [Ein Psalm, ein Einweihungslied des Hauses. Von David.] Ich will dich erheben, Jehova, denn [O. daß] du hast mich emporgezogen und hast nicht über mich sich freuen lassen meine Feinde.
A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 Jehova, mein Gott! zu dir habe ich geschrieen, und du hast mich geheilt.
O LORD my God, I cried to thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 Jehova! du hast meine Seele aus dem Scheol heraufgeführt, hast mich belebt aus denen, die in die Grube hinabfahren. (Sheol h7585)
O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. (Sheol h7585)
4 Singet Psalmen [Eig. Singspielte; so auch v 12;33,2 usw.] Jehova, ihr seine Frommen, und preiset sein heiliges Gedächtnis! [d. h. seinen heiligen Namen; vergl. 2. Mose 3,15]
Sing to the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 Denn ein Augenblick ist in seinem Zorn, ein Leben in seiner Gunst; am Abend kehrt Weinen ein, und am Morgen ist Jubel da.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
6 Ich zwar sagte in meinem Wohlergehen: [Eig. in meiner Ruhe, Sorglosigkeit] Ich werde nicht wanken ewiglich.
And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
7 Jehova! in deiner Gunst hattest du festgestellt meinen Berg; [Eig. Stärke bestellt meinem Berge] du verbargst dein Angesicht, ich ward bestürzt.
LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
8 Zu dir, Jehova, rief ich, und zum Herrn flehte ich:
I cried to thee, O LORD; and to the LORD I made supplication.
9 Was für Gewinn ist in meinem Blute, in meinem Hinabfahren in die Grube? Wird der Staub dich preisen? Wird er deine Wahrheit verkünden?
What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10 Höre, Jehova, und sei mir gnädig! Jehova, sei mein Helfer!
Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
11 Meine Wehklage hast du mir in einen Reigen verwandelt, mein Sacktuch [d. h. mein Trauerkleid] hast du gelöst, und mit Freude mich umgürtet;
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12 auf daß meine Seele [W. Ehre; wie Ps. 7,5;16,9] dich besinge und nicht schweige. Jehova, mein Gott, in Ewigkeit werde ich dich preisen!
To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.
