4 Mose 31
1 Und Jehova redete zu Mose und sprach:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Übe Rache für die [W. Vollziehe die Rache der] Kinder Israel an den Midianitern; danach sollst du zu deinen Völkern versammelt werden.
Avenge [the] vengeance of [the] people of Israel from with the Midianites (after *L(P)*) you will be gathered to people your.
3 Und Mose redete zu dem Volke und sprach: Rüstet von euch Männer zum Heere [O. Kriege; so auch v 4 usw.; Kap. 1,3; 26, 2] aus, daß sie wider Midian ziehen, [W. seien] um die Rache Jehovas an Midian auszuführen.
And he spoke Moses to the people saying be equipped from with you men for war so they may be on Midian to give [the] vengeance of Yahweh on Midian.
4 Je tausend vom Stamme, von allen Stämmen Israels, sollt ihr zum Heere absenden.
One thousand to the tribe one thousand to the tribe for all [the] tribes of Israel you will send out to war.
5 Und es wurden aus den Tausenden Israels tausend von jedem Stamme ausgehoben: zwölftausend zum Heere Gerüstete.
And they were selected from [the] thousands of Israel one thousand to the tribe two [plus] ten thousand armed [men] of war.
6 Und Mose sandte sie, tausend von jedem Stamme, zum Heere ab, sie und Pinehas, den Sohn Eleasars, des Priesters, zum Heere; und die heiligen Geräte, die [O. und die] Trompeten zum Lärmblasen, waren in seiner Hand.
And he sent them Moses one thousand to the tribe to war them and Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar the priest to war and [the] vessels of the holy place and [the] trumpets of the alarm [were] in hand his.
7 Und sie stritten wider Midian, so wie Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte, und töteten alles Männliche.
And they waged war on Midian just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses and they killed every male.
8 Und sie töteten die Könige von Midian, samt ihren Erschlagenen: Ewi und Rekem und Zur und Hur und Reba, fünf Könige von Midian; und auch Bileam, den Sohn Beors, töteten sie mit dem Schwerte.
And [the] kings of Midian they killed with slain [ones] their Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba [the] five [the] kings of Midian and Balaam [the] son of Beor they killed with the sword.
9 Und die Kinder Israel führten die Weiber der Midianiter und ihre Kinder gefangen hinweg, und erbeuteten all ihr Vieh und alle ihre Herden und alle ihre Habe;
And they took captive [the] people of Israel [the] women of Midian and little one[s] their and all cattle their and all livestock their and all wealth their they plundered.
10 und alle ihre Städte in ihren Wohnsitzen und alle ihre Gehöfte verbrannten sie mit Feuer.
And all cities their in dwelling places their and all encampments their they burned with fire.
11 Und sie nahmen alle Beute und allen Raub an Menschen und an Vieh,
And they took all the plunder and all the booty among humankind and among the livestock.
12 und brachten die Gefangenen und den Raub und die Beute zu Mose und zu Eleasar, dem Priester, und zu der Gemeinde der Kinder Israel ins Lager, in die Ebenen Moabs, die am Jordan von Jericho sind.
And they brought to Moses and to Eleazar the priest and to [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel the captive[s] and the booty and the plunder to the camp to [the] plains of Moab which [were] at [the] Jordan of Jericho.
13 Und Mose und Eleasar, der Priester, und alle Fürsten der Gemeinde gingen ihnen entgegen außerhalb des Lagers.
And they went out Moses and Eleazar the priest and all [the] leaders of the congregation to meet them to from [the] outside of the camp.
14 Und Mose ward zornig über die Vorgesetzten des Heeres, die Obersten über tausend und die Obersten über hundert, die von dem Kriegszuge kamen;
And he was angry Moses towards [the] officers of the army [the] commanders of the thousands and [the] commanders of the hundreds who were coming from [the] war of the battle.
15 und Mose sprach zu ihnen: Habt ihr alle Weiber am Leben gelassen?
And he said to them Moses ¿ have you let live every female.
16 Siehe, sie sind ja auf den Rat [W. das Wort] Bileams den Kindern Israel ein Anlaß geworden in der Sache des Peor eine Untreue gegen Jehova zu begehen, so daß die Plage über die Gemeinde Jehovas kam.
There! they they were to [the] people of Israel by [the] word of Balaam to offer unfaithfulness in Yahweh on [the] matter of Peor and it was the plague among [the] congregation of Yahweh.
17 So tötet nun alles Männliche unter den Kindern, und tötet alle Weiber, die einen Mann im Beischlaf erkannt haben;
And therefore kill every male among the little one[s] and every woman [who has] known a man to [the] lying of a male kill.
18 aber alle Kinder, alle Mädchen, [W. alle Kinder unter den Weibern] welche den Beischlaf eines Mannes nicht gekannt haben, laßt euch am Leben.
And all the little one[s] among the women who not they have known lying of a male preserve alive for yourselves.
19 Ihr aber lagert euch außerhalb des Lagers sieben Tage; ein jeder, der einen Menschen getötet, und ein jeder, der einen Erschlagenen angerührt hat, ihr sollt euch entsündigen am dritten Tage und am siebten Tage, ihr und eure Gefangenen.
And you encamp from [the] outside of the camp seven days any [one who] has killed anyone and any - [one who] has touched the [one] slain you will purify yourselves on the day third and on the day seventh you and captive[s] your.
20 Und alle Kleider und alles Gerät von Fell und alle Arbeit von Ziegenhaar und alles Gerät von Holz sollt ihr entsündigen.
And every garment and every article of hide and every product of goat hair and every article of wood you will purify yourselves.
21 Und Eleasar, der Priester, sprach zu den Kriegsleuten, die in den Streit gezogen waren: Dies ist die Satzung des Gesetzes, das Jehova dem Mose geboten hat:
And he said Eleazar the priest to [the] men of the army who had gone to the battle this [is] [the] statute of the law which he commanded Yahweh Moses.
22 Nur das Gold und das Silber, das Erz, das Eisen, das Zinn und das Blei,
Only the gold and the silver the bronze the iron the tin and the lead.
23 alles, was das Feuer verträgt, sollt ihr durchs Feuer gehen lassen, und es wird rein sein; nur soll es mit dem Wasser der Reinigung [S. Kap. 19,9] entsündigt werden; und alles, was das Feuer nicht verträgt, sollt ihr durchs Wasser gehen lassen.
Every thing which it will go in the fire you will make pass in the fire and it will be pure nevertheless by [the] water of impurity it will purify itself and all that not it will go in the fire you will make pass in the water.
24 Und am siebten Tage sollt ihr eure Kleider waschen, und ihr werdet rein sein; und danach möget ihr ins Lager kommen.
And you will wash clothes your on the day seventh and you will be pure and after you will come to the camp.
25 Und Jehova redete zu Mose und sprach:
And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
26 Nimm auf die Summe der weggeführten Beute, an Menschen und an Vieh, du und Eleasar, der Priester, und die Häupter der Väter [d. h. die Stamm- oder Familienhäupter; so auch später] der Gemeinde;
Lift up [the] head of [the] booty of captivity among humankind and among the livestock you and Eleazar the priest and [the] leaders of [the] fathers of the congregation.
27 und teile die Beute zur Hälfte zwischen denen, welche den Krieg geführt haben, die ins Feld gezogen sind, und der ganzen Gemeinde.
And you will divide the booty between [those] skilled of the battle who went out to war and between all the congregation.
28 Und erhebe von den Kriegsleuten, die ins Feld gezogen sind, eine Abgabe für Jehova: eine Seele von fünfhundert, von den Menschen und von den Rindern und von den Eseln und vom Kleinvieh;
And you will raise a tax for Yahweh from with [the] men of war who went out to war one person from [the] five hundred from humankind and from the cattle and from the donkeys and from the sheep.
29 von ihrer Hälfte sollt ihr sie nehmen, und du sollst sie Eleasar, dem Priester, geben als ein Hebopfer Jehovas.
From half their you will take [it] and you will give [it] to Eleazar the priest [the] contribution of Yahweh.
30 Und von der Hälfte der Kinder Israel sollst du eines nehmen, von fünfzig herausgegriffen, von den Menschen, von den Rindern, von den Eseln und vom Kleinvieh, von allem Vieh; und du sollst es den Leviten geben, welche der Hut der Wohnung Jehovas warten.
And from [the] half of [the] people of Israel you will take - one - [person] drawn from the fifty from humankind from the cattle from the donkeys and from the sheep from all the livestock and you will give them to the Levites [who] keep [the] service of [the] tabernacle of Yahweh.
31 Und Mose und Eleasar, der Priester, taten, so wie Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte.
And he did Moses and Eleazar the priest just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
32 Und das Erbeutete, was von der Beute übrigblieb, welche das Kriegsvolk gemacht hatte, war: 675000 Stück Kleinvieh,
And it was the booty [the] remainder of the plunder which they had plundered [the] people of the army sheep six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand.
33 und 72000 Rinder,
And cattle two and seventy thousand.
34 und 61000 Esel;
And donkeys one and sixty thousand.
35 und was die Menschenseelen betrifft, so waren der Mädchen, welche den Beischlaf eines Mannes nicht gekannt hatten, insgesamt 32000 Seelen.
And [the] person[s] of humankind from the women who not they had known lying of a male every person two and thirty thousand.
36 Und die Hälfte, der Anteil derer, welche zum Heere ausgezogen waren, die Zahl des Kleinviehes, war: 337500 Stück,
And it was the half [the] portion of those [who] had gone out in the army [the] number of the sheep [was] three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred.
37 und die Abgabe vom Kleinvieh für Jehova war 675 Stück;
And it was the tax for Yahweh from the sheep six hundred five and seventy.
38 und die Zahl der Rinder 36000, und die Abgabe davon für Jehova 72;
And the cattle [were] six and thirty thousand and tax their for Yahweh [was] two and seventy.
39 und der Esel 30500, und die Abgabe davon für Jehova 61;
And donkeys [were] thirty thousand and five hundred and tax their for Yahweh [was] one and sixty.
40 und der Menschenseelen 16000, und die Abgabe davon für Jehova 32 Seelen.
And [the] person[s] of humankind [were] six-teen thousand and tax their for Yahweh [was] two and thirty person[s].
41 Und Mose gab die Abgabe des Hebopfers Jehovas Eleasar, dem Priester, so wie Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte.
And he gave Moses [the] tax of [the] contribution of Yahweh to Eleazar the priest just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
42 Und von der Hälfte der Kinder Israel, welche Mose von den zum Heere ausgezogenen Männern [d. h. von ihrem Teil] abgeteilt hatte,
And from [the] half of [the] people of Israel which he had divided Moses from the men who had gone to war.
43 [die Hälfte der Gemeinde war nämlich: 337500 Stück Kleinvieh,
And it was [the] half of the congregation from the sheep three hundred thousand and thirty thousand seven thousand and five hundred.
44 und 36000 Rinder,
And cattle six and thirty thousand.
45 und 30500 Esel,
And donkeys thirty thousand and five hundred.
46 und 16000 Menschenseelen]
And person[s] of humankind six-teen thousand.
47 und von der Hälfte der Kinder Israel nahm Mose das Herausgegriffene, eines von fünfzig, von den Menschen und von dem Vieh, und gab sie den Leviten, welche der Hut der Wohnung Jehovas warteten; so wie Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte.
And he took Moses from [the] half of [the] people of Israel those drawn one from the fifty from humankind and from the livestock and he gave them to the Levites [who] keep [the] service of [the] tabernacle of Yahweh just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
48 Und es traten zu Mose die Vorgesetzten über die Tausende des Heeres, die Obersten über tausend und die Obersten über hundert,
And they drew near to Moses the officers who [were] of [the] thousands of the army [the] commanders of the thousands and [the] commanders of the hundreds.
49 und sprachen zu Mose: Deine Knechte haben die Summe der Kriegsleute aufgenommen, die unter unserer Hand waren, und es fehlt von uns nicht ein Mann.
And they said to Moses servants your they have lifted up [the] head of [the] men of war who [were] in hand our and not he is missing from us anyone.
50 Und so bringen wir eine Opfergabe für Jehova dar, ein jeder, was er an goldenem Geschmeide gefunden hat: Armspangen und Handspangen, [S. die Anm. zu 1. Mose 24,22] Fingerringe, Ohrringe und Spangen, um für unsere Seelen Sühnung zu tun vor Jehova.
And we have brought near [the] offering of Yahweh everyone [that] which he found an article of gold an armlet and a bracelet a signet-ring an earring and an ornament to make atonement on selves our before Yahweh.
51 Und Mose und Eleasar, der Priester, nahmen das Gold von ihnen, allerlei verarbeitetes Geschmeide.
And he took Moses and Eleazar the priest the gold from with them every article of work.
52 Und alles Gold des Hebopfers, das sie für Jehova hoben, war 16750 Sekel, von den Obersten über tausend und von den Obersten über hundert.
And it was - all [the] gold of the contribution which they raised for Yahweh six-teen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekel[s] from with [the] commanders of the thousands and from with [the] commanders of the hundreds.
53 [Die Kriegsleute aber hatten ein jeder für sich geplündert.]
[the] men of The army they had taken plunder everyone for himself.
54 Und Mose und Eleasar, der Priester, nahmen das Gold von den Obersten über tausend und über hundert und brachten es in das Zelt der Zusammenkunft, als ein Gedächtnis der [O. für die] Kinder Israel vor Jehova.
And he took Moses and Eleazar the priest the gold from with [the] commanders of the thousands and the hundreds and they brought it into [the] tent of meeting a memorial for [the] people of Israel before Yahweh.
