1 Mose 29
1 Und Jakob erhob seine Füße und ging nach dem Lande der Kinder des Ostens.
and to lift: journey Jacob foot his and to go: come land: country/planet [to] son: descendant/people front: east
2 Und er sah: und siehe, ein Brunnen auf dem Felde; und siehe, daselbst waren drei Herden Schafe [Eig. Kleinvieh, d. h. Schafe und Ziegen, desgl. v 6] an demselben gelagert, denn aus diesem Brunnen tränkte man [O. tränkten sie d. h. die Hirten] die Herden; und der Stein auf der Öffnung des Brunnens war groß.
and to see: see and behold well in/on/with land: country and behold there three flock flock to stretch upon her for from [the] well [the] he/she/it to water: watering [the] flock and [the] stone great: large upon lip [the] well
3 Und waren alle Herden dort zusammengetrieben, so wälzte man den Stein von der Öffnung des Brunnens und tränkte die Schafe; und man brachte den Stein wieder auf die Öffnung des Brunnens an seinen Ort.
and to gather there [to] all [the] flock and to roll [obj] [the] stone from upon lip [the] well and to water: watering [obj] [the] flock and to return: return [obj] [the] stone upon lip [the] well to/for place her
4 Und Jakob sprach zu ihnen: Meine Brüder, woher seid ihr? Und sie sprachen: Wir sind von Haran.
and to say to/for them Jacob brother: male-sibling my from where? you(m. p.) and to say from Haran we
5 Da sprach er zu ihnen: Kennet ihr Laban, den Sohn Nahors? Und sie sprachen: Wir kennen ihn.
and to say to/for them to know [obj] Laban son: descendant/people Nahor and to say to know
6 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Geht es ihm wohl? Und sie sprachen: Es geht ihm wohl; und siehe, da kommt seine Tochter Rahel [H. Rachel: Mutterschaf; and. Lamm] mit den Schafen.
and to say to/for them peace: well-being to/for him and to say peace: well-being and behold Rachel daughter his to come (in): come with [the] flock
7 Da sprach er: Siehe, es ist noch hoch am Tage, es ist nicht Zeit, das Vieh zusammenzutreiben; tränket die Schafe und gehet hin, weidet.
and to say look! still [the] day great: large not time to gather [the] livestock to water: watering [the] flock and to go: went to pasture
8 Und sie sprachen: Wir können nicht, bis alle Herden zusammengetrieben werden; dann wälzt man den Stein von der Öffnung des Brunnens, und wir tränken die Schafe.
and to say not be able till which to gather all [the] flock and to roll [obj] [the] stone from upon lip [the] well and to water: watering [the] flock
9 Noch redete er mit ihnen, da kam Rahel mit den Schafen, die ihrem Vater gehörten; denn sie war eine Hirtin.
still he to speak: speak with them and Rachel to come (in): come with [the] flock which to/for father her for to pasture he/she/it
10 Und es geschah, als Jakob die Rahel sah, die Tochter Labans, des Bruders seiner Mutter, und die Schafe Labans, des Bruders seiner Mutter, da trat Jakob hinzu und wälzte den Stein von der Öffnung des Brunnens und tränkte die Schafe Labans, des Bruders seiner Mutter.

11 Und Jakob küßte Rahel und erhob seine Stimme und weinte.
and to kiss Jacob to/for Rachel and to lift: loud [obj] voice his and to weep
12 Und Jakob tat Rahel kund, daß er ein Bruder ihres Vaters und daß er der Sohn Rebekkas wäre; und sie lief und berichtete es ihrem Vater.
and to tell Jacob to/for Rachel for brother: male-relative father her he/she/it and for son: child Rebekah he/she/it and to run: run and to tell to/for father her
13 Und es geschah, als Laban die Kunde von Jakob, dem Sohne seiner Schwester, hörte, da lief er ihm entgegen und umarmte ihn und küßte ihn und führte ihn in sein Haus; und er erzählte dem Laban alle diese Dinge.

14 Und Laban sprach zu ihm: Fürwahr, du bist mein Bein und mein Fleisch. Und er blieb bei ihm einen Monat lang.
and to say to/for him Laban surely bone my and flesh my you(m. s.) and to dwell with him month day
15 Und Laban sprach zu Jakob: Ist es, weil du mein Bruder bist, daß du mir umsonst dienen solltest? [O. Bist du nicht mein Bruder? Und du solltest mir umsonst dienen] Tue mir kund, was soll dein Lohn sein?
and to say Laban to/for Jacob for brother: male-relative my you(m. s.) and to serve me for nothing to tell [emph?] to/for me what? wage your
16 Und Laban hatte zwei Töchter; der Name der älteren war Lea [Ermüdete, Schlaffe] und der Name der jüngeren Rahel.
and to/for Laban two daughter name [the] great: old Leah and name [the] small Rachel
17 Und die Augen der Lea waren blöde; Rahel aber war schön von Gestalt und schön von Angesicht. [O. Ansehen]
and eye Leah tender and Rachel to be beautiful appearance and beautiful appearance
18 Und Jakob liebte Rahel und sprach: Ich will dir sieben Jahre dienen um Rahel, deine jüngere Tochter.
and to love: lover Jacob [obj] Rachel and to say to serve you seven year in/on/with Rachel daughter your [the] small
19 Und Laban sprach: Es ist besser, ich gebe sie dir, als daß ich sie einem anderen Manne gebe; bleibe bei mir.
and to say Laban (pleasant *LB(ah)*) to give: give I [obj] her to/for you from to give: give I [obj] her to/for man another to dwell [emph?] with me me
20 Und Jakob diente um Rahel sieben Jahre; und sie waren in seinen Augen wie einzelne Tage, weil er sie liebte.
and to serve Jacob in/on/with Rachel seven year and to be in/on/with eye: appearance his like/as day one in/on/with love his [obj] her
21 Und Jakob sprach zu Laban: Gib mir mein Weib; denn meine Tage sind erfüllt, daß ich zu ihr eingehe.
and to say Jacob to(wards) Laban to give [emph?] [obj] woman: wife my for to fill day my and to come (in): come to(wards) her
22 Und Laban versammelte alle Männer des Ortes und machte ein Mahl.
and to gather Laban [obj] all human [the] place and to make feast
23 Und es geschah am Abend, da nahm er seine Tochter Lea und brachte sie zu ihm; und er ging zu ihr ein.
and to be in/on/with evening and to take: take [obj] Leah daughter his and to come (in): bring [obj] her to(wards) him and to come (in): come to(wards) her
24 Und Laban gab seine Magd Silpa seiner Tochter Lea zur Magd.
and to give: give Laban to/for her [obj] Zilpah maidservant his to/for Leah daughter his maidservant
25 Und es geschah am Morgen, siehe, da war es Lea. Da sprach er zu Laban: Was hast du mir da getan! Habe ich nicht um Rahel bei dir gedient? Und warum hast du mich betrogen?
and to be in/on/with morning and behold he/she/it Leah and to say to(wards) Laban what? this to make: do to/for me not in/on/with Rachel to serve with you and to/for what? to deceive me
26 Und Laban sprach: Es geschieht nicht also an unserem Orte, die Jüngere vor der Erstgeborenen zu geben.
and to say Laban not to make: do so in/on/with place our to/for to give: give(marriage) [the] little to/for face: before [the] firstborn
27 Vollende die Woche [d. h. die siebentägige Dauer des Hochzeitsfestes. Vergl. Ri. 14,12. 17] mit dieser, so wollen wir dir auch jene geben, um den Dienst, den du bei mir dienen sollst noch andere sieben Jahre.
to fill week this and to give: give(marriage) to/for you also [obj] this in/on/with service which to serve with me me still seven year another
28 Und Jakob tat also und vollendete die Woche mit dieser; und er gab ihm seine Tochter Rahel zum Weibe.
and to make: do Jacob so and to fill week this and to give: give(marriage) to/for him [obj] Rachel daughter his to/for him to/for woman: wife
29 Und Laban gab seiner Tochter Rahel seine Magd Bilha zur Magd.
and to give: give Laban to/for Rachel daughter his [obj] Bilhah maidservant his to/for her to/for maidservant
30 Und er ging auch zu Rahel ein; und er liebte auch Rahel mehr als Lea. Und er diente bei ihm noch andere sieben Jahre.
and to come (in): come also to(wards) Rachel and to love: lover also [obj] Rachel from Leah and to serve with him still seven year another
31 Und als Jehova sah, daß Lea gehaßt war, da öffnete er ihren Mutterleib; Rahel aber war unfruchtbar.
and to see: see LORD for to hate Leah and to open [obj] womb her and Rachel barren
32 Und Lea ward schwanger und gebar einen Sohn, und sie gab ihm den Namen Ruben, [Sehet, ein Sohn] denn sie sprach: Weil Jehova [O. sprach: Jehova hat] mein Elend angesehen hat; denn nun wird mein Mann mich lieben.
and to conceive Leah and to beget son: child and to call: call by name his Reuben for to say for to see: see LORD in/on/with affliction my for now to love: lover me man: husband my
33 Und sie ward wiederum schwanger und gebar einen Sohn; und sie sprach: Weil Jehova [O. sprach: Jehova hat] gehört hat, daß ich gehaßt bin, so hat er mir auch diesen gegeben. Und sie gab ihm den Namen Simeon. [Erhörung]
and to conceive still and to beget son: child and to say for to hear: hear LORD for to hate I and to give: give to/for me also [obj] this and to call: call by name his Simeon
34 Und sie ward wiederum schwanger und gebar einen Sohn; und sie sprach: Nun, diesmal wird sich mein Mann an mich anschließen, denn ich habe ihm drei Söhne geboren! Darum gab man ihm den Namen Levi. [Anschließung; Anhänglichkeit]
and to conceive still and to beget son: child and to say now [the] beat to join man: husband my to(wards) me for to beget to/for him three son: child upon so to call: call by name his Levi
35 Und sie ward wiederum schwanger und gebar einen Sohn; und sie sprach: Diesmal will ich Jehova preisen! Darum gab sie ihm den Namen Juda. [H. Jehuda: Gegenstand des Preises] Und sie hörte auf zu gebären.
and to conceive still and to beget son: child and to say [the] beat to give thanks [obj] LORD upon so to call: call by name his Judah and to stand: stand from to beget
