Esra 1
1 Und im ersten Jahre Kores, [Cyrus] des Königs von Persien, damit das Wort Jehovas aus dem Munde Jeremias erfüllt würde, erweckte Jehova den Geist Kores, des Königs von Persien; und er ließ einen Ruf ergehen durch sein ganzes Königreich, und zwar auch schriftlich, indem er sprach:
In the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, to fulfil the word of Yahweh from the mouth of Jeremiah, Yahweh aroused the spirit of Cyrus, king of Persia, and he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, moreover also in writing, saying:
2 So spricht Kores, der König von Persien: Alle Königreiche der Erde hat Jehova, der Gott des Himmels, mir gegeben; und er hat mich beauftragt, ihm ein Haus zu bauen zu Jerusalem, das in Juda ist.
Thus, saith Cyrus, king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth, hath Yahweh God of the heavens, given to me, —and, he himself, hath laid charge upon me, to build for him a house, in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3 Wer irgend unter euch aus seinem Volke ist, mit dem sei sein Gott, und er ziehe hinauf nach Jerusalem, das in Juda ist, und baue das Haus Jehovas, des Gottes Israels [er ist Gott], [Eig. der Gott] in Jerusalem. [O. Israels; er ist der Gott, welcher in Jerusalem wohnt]
Who is there among you of all his people? His God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, —and build the house of Yahweh God of Israel, (he, is God!) which is in Jerusalem;
4 Und jeder, der übrigbleibt an irgend einem Orte, wo er sich aufhält, den sollen die Leute seines Ortes unterstützen mit Silber und mit Gold und mit Habe und mit Vieh, nebst den freiwilligen Gaben für das Haus Gottes in Jerusalem.
And, whosoever is left, of all the places where he doth sojourn, let the men of his place uphold him, with silver and with gold, and with goods and with beasts, —along with a voluntary offering for the house of God, which is in Jerusalem.
5 Und es machten sich auf die Häupter der Väter von Juda und Benjamin, und die Priester und die Leviten, ein jeder, dessen Geist Gott erweckte, hinaufzuziehen, um das Haus Jehovas in Jerusalem zu bauen.
Then arose the ancestral chiefs of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, —even every one whose spirit God had aroused, to go up to build the house of Yahweh, which was in Jerusalem;
6 Und alle, die um sie her waren, unterstützten sie mit silbernen Geräten, mit Gold, mit Habe und mit Vieh und mit Kostbarkeiten, außer allem, was freiwillig gegeben wurde.
and, all they who were round about them, strengthened their hands, with utensils of silver, with gold with goods and with beasts, and with precious things, —besides any thing he had volunteered.
7 Und der König Kores ließ die Geräte des Hauses Jehovas herausbringen, welche Nebukadnezar aus Jerusalem weggeführt und in das Haus seines Gottes gelegt hatte.
And, King Cyrus, brought forth the utensils of the house of Yahweh, —which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth from Jerusalem, and put in the house of his gods: —
8 Und Kores, der König von Persien, ließ sie herausbringen unter der Aufsicht Mithredaths, des Schatzmeisters; und dieser zählte sie dem Sesbazar, [Chaldäischer Name für Serubbabel] dem Fürsten Judas, dar.
yea Cyrus king of Persia brought them forth, by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, —and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, a leader of Judah.
9 Und dies ist ihre Zahl: 30 goldene Becken, [O. Schalen] 1000 silberne Becken, [O. Schalen] 29 Messer,
And, these, were the numbers of them, —basins of gold, thirty, basins of silver, a thousand, knives, twenty-nine;
10 goldene Becher, 410 silberne Becher von zweiter Gattung, 1000 andere Geräte.
bowls of gold, thirty, bowls of silver, of a secondary sort, four hundred and ten, —other utensils, a thousand.
11 Aller Geräte von Gold und von Silber waren 5400. Das alles brachte Sesbazar hinauf, als die Weggeführten aus Babel nach Jerusalem hinaufgeführt wurden.
All the utensils, in gold and silver, were five thousand and four hundred, —the whole, did Sheshbazzar bring up with the upbringing of the exile, out of Babylon unto Jerusalem.
