Hesekiel 11
1 Und der Geist hob mich empor und brachte mich zum östlichen Tore des Hauses Jehovas, welches gegen Osten sieht. Und siehe, an dem Eingang des Tores waren 25 Männer; und ich sah in ihrer Mitte Jaasanja, den Sohn Assurs, und Pelatja, den Sohn Benajas, die Fürsten [O. Obersten] des Volkes.
And the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of Jehovah's house, which looketh eastward; and behold, at the door of the gate were five and twenty men; and I saw in the midst of them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
2 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, das sind die Männer, welche Unheil sinnen und bösen Rat erteilen in dieser Stadt,
And he said unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise iniquity, and give wicked counsel in this city:
3 die da sprechen: Es ist nicht an der Zeit [O. Es eilt nicht, ] Häuser zu bauen [Vergl. Jer. 29,5-11;] sie ist der Topf, und wir sind das Fleisch [d. h. die Stadt soll sie vor dem Verderben schützen, wie der Topf das Fleisch vor dem Verbrennen; vergl. v 11.]
who say, It is not the time to build houses: this is the cauldron, and we are the flesh.
4 Darum weissage wider sie; weissage, Menschensohn! -
Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man.
5 Und der Geist Jehovas fiel auf mich und sprach zu mir: Sprich: So spricht Jehova: Also sprechet ihr, Haus Israel; und was in eurem Geiste aufsteigt, das weiß ich.
And the Spirit of Jehovah fell on me, and said unto me, Speak, Thus saith Jehovah: Thus have ye said, O house of Israel; and the things that come into your mind, I know them.
6 Ihr habt eurer Erschlagenen viele gemacht in dieser Stadt und ihre Straßen mit Erschlagenen gefüllt.
Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
7 Darum, so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Eure Erschlagenen, die ihr in ihrer Mitte hingestreckt habt, die sind das Fleisch, und sie ist der Topf; euch aber wird man aus ihrer Mitte hinausführen.
Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and it is the cauldron; but you will I bring forth out of the midst of it.
8 Ihr fürchtet das Schwert; und das Schwert werde ich über euch bringen, spricht der Herr, Jehova.
Ye have feared the sword, and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
9 Und ich werde euch aus ihrer Mitte hinausführen und euch in die Hand der Fremden geben, und werde Gerichte an euch üben.
And I will bring you out of the midst of it, and give you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
10 Durch das Schwert sollt ihr fallen: an der Grenze Israels werde ich euch richten. Und ihr werdet wissen [O. erkennen, erfahren, ] daß ich Jehova bin.
Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the borders of Israel; and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
11 Sie wird euch nicht der Topf [Eig. als Topf als Fleisch, ] und ihr werdet in ihrer Mitte nicht das Fleisch [Eig. als Topf als Fleisch] sein: an der Grenze Israels werde ich euch richten.
This shall not be your cauldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst of it: I will judge you in the borders of Israel;
12 Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, ich, in dessen Satzungen ihr nicht gewandelt und dessen Rechte ihr nicht getan habt; sondern ihr habt nach den Rechten der Nationen getan, welche rings um euch her sind. -
and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, in whose statutes ye have not walked, neither have done mine ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are round about you.
13 Und es geschah, als ich weissagte, da starb Pelatja, der Sohn Benajas. Und ich fiel nieder auf mein Angesicht und schrie mit lauter Stimme und sprach: Ach, Herr, Jehova! willst du dem Überrest Israels den Garaus machen?
And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. And I fell down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
14 Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
15 Menschensohn, deine Brüder, deine Brüder, die Männer deiner Verwandtschaft, sind es und das ganze Haus Israel insgesamt, zu welchen die Bewohner von Jerusalem sprechen: Bleibet fern von Jehova; uns ist das Land zum Besitztum gegeben!
Son of man, [it is] thy brethren, thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel, the whole of it, unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem say, Get you far from Jehovah: unto us is this land given for a possession.
16 Darum sprich: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Obgleich ich sie unter die Nationen entfernt, und obgleich ich sie in die Länder zerstreut habe, so bin ich ihnen doch [And. üb.: fürwahr, ich habe sie entfernt, und fürwahr, ich habe sie zerstreut; doch bin ich ihnen] ein wenig zum Heiligtum geworden in den Ländern, wohin sie gekommen sind.
Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Although I have removed them far off among the nations, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries whither they are come.
17 Darum sprich: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Ja, ich werde [O. Auch werde ich] euch aus den Völkern sammeln und euch zusammenbringen aus den Ländern, in welche ihr zerstreut worden seid, und werde euch das Land Israel geben.
Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where ye are scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
18 Und sie werden dorthin kommen und alle seine Scheusale und alle seine Greuel daraus entfernen.
And they shall come thither, and they shall take away from thence all its detestable things and all its abominations.
19 Und ich werde ihnen ein Herz geben, und werde einen neuen Geist in euer Inneres geben; und ich werde das steinerne Herz aus ihrem Fleische wegnehmen und ihnen ein fleischernes Herz geben:
And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;
20 auf daß sie in meinen Satzungen wandeln und meine Rechte bewahren und sie tun; und sie werden mein Volk, und ich werde ihr Gott sein.
that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
21 Deren Herz aber nach dem Herzen [d. h. nach dem Sinne] ihrer Scheusale und ihrer Greuel wandelt: denen will ich ihren Weg auf ihren Kopf bringen, spricht der Herr, Jehova.
But as for them whose heart walketh well-pleased with their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their heads, saith the Lord Jehovah.
22 Und die Cherubim erhoben ihre Flügel, und die Räder waren neben ihnen; und die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels war oben über ihnen.
And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels were beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
23 Und die Herrlichkeit Jehovas erhob sich aus der Mitte der Stadt und stellte sich auf den Berg, welcher gegen Osten der Stadt ist [d. i. auf den Ölberg; vergl. Sach. 14,4.]
And the glory of Jehovah went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
24 Und der Geist hob mich empor und brachte mich im Gesicht durch den Geist [O. im Geiste] Gottes zu den Weggeführten nach Chaldäa; und das Gesicht, welches ich gesehen hatte, hob sich von mir weg.
And the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity; and the vision that I had seen went up from me.
25 Und ich redete zu den Weggeführten alle Worte Jehovas, die er mich hatte sehen lassen. -
And I spoke unto them of the captivity all the things that Jehovah had shewn me.
