2 Samuel 7
1 Und [1. Chron. 17] es geschah, als der König in seinem Hause wohnte, und Jehova ihm ringsumher Ruhe geschafft hatte vor allen seinen Feinden,
Forsothe it was doon, whanne the kyng Dauid hadde sete in his hows, and the Lord hadde youe reste to hym on ech side fro alle hise enemyes,
2 da sprach der König zu Nathan, dem Propheten: Siehe doch, ich wohne in einem Hause von Cedern, und die Lade Gottes wohnt unter Teppichen.
he seyde to Nathan the prophete, Seest thou not, that Y dwelle in an hows of cedre, and the arke of God is put in the myddis of skynnys?
3 Und Nathan sprach zu dem König: Gehe hin, tue alles, was du im Herzen hast, denn Jehova ist mit dir.
And Nathan seide to the kyng, Go thou, and do al thing which is in thin herte, for the Lord is with thee.
4 Und es geschah in selbiger Nacht, da geschah das Wort Jehovas zu Nathan also:
Forsothe it was don in that niyt, and lo! the word of the Lord, seiynge to Nathan, Go thou,
5 Gehe hin und sprich zu meinem Knechte, zu David: So spricht Jehova: Solltest du mir ein Haus bauen zu meiner Wohnung?
and speke to my servaunt Dauid, The Lord seith these thingis, Whether thou schalt bilde to me an hows to dwelle ynne?
6 denn ich habe nicht in einem Hause gewohnt von dem Tage an, da ich die Kinder Israel aus Ägypten heraufgeführt habe, bis auf diesen Tag; sondern ich wanderte umher in einem Zelte [Dasselbe Wort wie in 2. Mose 26,7 usw.] und in einer Wohnung. [Dasselbe Wort wie in 2. Mose 26,7]
For Y `dwellide not in an hows fro the dai in which Y ledde the sones of Israel out of the lond of Egipt til in to this dai; but Y yede in tabernacle and in tent,
7 Wo immer ich wanderte unter allen Kindern Israel, habe ich wohl zu einem der Stämme [Viell. ist hier "Richter" zu lesen, wie in 1. Chron. 17,6] Israels, dem ich gebot, mein Volk Israel zu weiden, ein Wort geredet und gesagt: Warum habt ihr mir nicht ein Haus von Cedern gebaut?
bi alle places, to whiche Y passyde with alle the sones of Israel? Whether Y spekynge spak to oon of the lynagis of Israel, to whom Y comaundyde, that he schulde feede my puple Israel, and seide, Whi `bildidist thou not an hows of cedre to me?
8 Und nun sollst du also zu meinem Knechte David sagen: So spricht Jehova der Heerscharen: Ich habe dich von der Trift genommen, hinter dem Kleinvieh weg, daß du Fürst sein solltest über mein Volk, über Israel;
And now thou schalt seie these thingis to my seruaunt Dauid, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Y took thee fro lesewis suynge flockis, that thou schuldist be duyk on my puple Israel, and Y was with thee in alle thingis,
9 und ich bin mit dir gewesen überall, wohin du gezogen bist, und habe alle deine Feinde vor dir ausgerottet; und ich habe dir einen großen Namen gemacht, [O. und ich werde dir machen] gleich dem Namen der Großen, die auf Erden sind.
where euere thou yedist, and Y killide alle thin enemyes fro thi face, and Y made to thee a greet name bi the name of grete men that ben in erthe;
10 Und ich werde einen Ort setzen für mein Volk, für Israel, und werde es pflanzen, daß es an seiner Stätte wohne und nicht mehr beunruhigt werde, und die Söhne der Ungerechtigkeit sollen es nicht mehr bedrücken, wie früher
and Y schall sette a place to my puple Israel, and Y schal plaunte hym, and Y schal dwelle with hym, and he schal no more be troblid, and the sones of wickidnesse schulen not adde, that thei turmente hym as bifor,
11 und seit dem Tage, da ich Richter über mein Volk Israel bestellt habe. Und ich habe dir Ruhe geschafft vor allen deinen Feinden; und Jehova tut dir kund, daß Jehova dir ein Haus machen wird.
fro the dai in which Y ordenede iugis on my puple Israel; and Y schal yyue reste to thee fro alle thin enemyes. And the Lord biforseith to thee, that `the Lord schal mak an hows to thee;
12 Wenn deine Tage voll sein werden, und du bei deinen Vätern liegen wirst, so werde ich deinen Samen nach dir erwecken, der aus deinem Leibe kommen soll, und werde sein Königtum befestigen.
and whanne thi daies be fillid, and thou hast slept with thi fadris, Y schal reyse thi seed aftir thee, which schal go out of thi wombe, and Y schal make `stidfast his rewme.
13 Der wird meinem Namen ein Haus bauen; und ich werde den Thron seines Königtums befestigen auf ewig.
He schal bilde an hows to my name, and Y schal make stable the troone of his rewme til in to with outen ende;
14 Ich will ihm Vater sein, und er soll mir Sohn sein, so daß, wenn er verkehrt handelt, ich ihn züchtigen werde mit einer Menschenrute und mit Schlägen der Menschenkinder;
Y schal be to hym in to fadir, and he schal be to me in to a sone; and if he schal do ony thing wickidli, Y schal chastise hym in the yerde of men, and in the woundis of the sones of men.
15 aber meine Güte soll nicht von ihm weichen, wie ich sie von Saul weichen ließ, den ich vor dir weggetan habe.
Forsothe Y schal not do awey my mercy fro hym, as Y dide awei fro Saul, whom Y remouede fro my face.
16 Und dein Haus und dein Königtum sollen vor dir beständig sein auf ewig, dein Thron soll fest sein auf ewig.
And thin hows schal be feithful, and thi rewme schal be til in to with outen ende bifor my face, and thi trone schal be stidfast contynueli.
17 Nach allen diesen Worten und nach diesem ganzen Gesicht, also redete Nathan zu David.
By alle these wordys, and bi al this reuelacioun, so Nathan spak to Dauid.
18 Da ging der König David hinein und setzte sich vor Jehova nieder und sprach: Wer bin ich, Herr, Jehova, und was ist mein Haus, daß du mich bis hierher gebracht hast?
Forsothe Dauid the kyng entride, and satt bifor the Lord, and seide, Who am Y, my Lord God, and what is myn hows, that thou brouytist me hidur to?
19 Und dies ist noch ein Geringes gewesen in deinen Augen, Herr, Jehova! und du hast auch von dem Hause deines Knechtes geredet in die Ferne hin; und ist dies die Weise des Menschen, Herr, Jehova? [O. und dies nach Menschenweise, Herr, Jehova! [vergl. 1. Chron. 17,17]]
But also this is seyn litil in thi siyt, my Lord God; no but thou schuldist speke also of the hows of thi seruaunt in to long tyme. Forsothe this is the lawe of Adam, Lord God;
20 Doch was soll David noch weiter zu dir reden? Du kennst ja deinen Knecht, Herr, Jehova!
what therfor may Dauid adde yit, that he speke to thee? For thou, Lord God, knowist thi seruaunt; thou hast do alle these grete thingis,
21 Um deines Wortes willen und nach deinem Herzen hast du all dieses Große getan, um es deinem Knechte kundzutun.
for thi word, and bi thin herte, so that thou madist knowun to thi seruaunt.
22 Darum bist du groß, Jehova Gott! denn niemand ist dir gleich, und kein Gott außer dir, nach allem, was wir mit unseren Ohren gehört haben.
Herfor, Lord God, thou art magnyfied, for noon is lijk thee, ne there is no God outakun thee, in alle thingis whiche we herden with oure eeris.
23 Und wer ist wie dein Volk, wie Israel, die einzige Nation auf Erden, welche [O. und welche Nation gibt es irgend auf Erden wie dein Volk, wie Israel, welches usw.] Gott hingegangen ist, sich zum Volke zu erlösen, und um sich einen Namen zu machen, und für sie [W. für euch] solch Großes zu tun und furchtbare Dinge für dein Land, indem du vor deinem Volke, das du dir aus Ägypten erlöst hast, Nationen und ihre Götter vertriebst! [Vergl. 1. Chron. 17,21]
Sotheli what folk in erthe is as the puple of Israel, for which the Lord God yede, that he schulde ayenbie it to him in to a puple, and schulde sette to hym silf a name, and schulde do to it grete thingis, and orible on erthe, in castinge out therof the folk and `goddis therof fro the face of thi puple, which thou `ayen bouytist to thee fro Egipt?
24 Und du hast dir dein Volk Israel befestigt, dir zum Volke auf ewig; und du, Jehova, bist ihr Gott [Eig. ihnen zum Gott] geworden.
And thou confermidist to thee thi puple Israel in to a puple euerlastynge, and thou, Lord, art maad in to God to hem.
25 Und nun, Jehova Gott, das Wort, das du über deinen Knecht und über sein Haus geredet hast, halte aufrecht ewiglich, und tue, wie du geredet hast!
Now therfor, Lord God, reise thou withouten ende the word that thou hast spoke on thi seruaunt and on his hows, and do as thou hast spoke;
26 Und dein Name sei groß [O. erhoben] auf ewig, daß man spreche: Jehova der Heerscharen ist Gott über Israel. Und das Haus deines Knechtes David sei fest vor dir.
and thy name be magnyfied til in to withouten ende, and be it seid, The Lord of oostis is God on Israel; and the hows of thi seruaunt Dauid schal be stablischid byfor the Lord;
27 Denn du, Jehova der Heerscharen, Gott Israels, hast dem Ohre deines Knechtes eröffnet und gesagt: Ich werde dir ein Haus bauen; darum hat dein Knecht sich ein Herz gefaßt, dieses Gebet zu dir zu beten.
for thou, Lord of oostis, God of Israel, hast maad reuelacioun to the eere of thi seruaunt, and seidist, Y schal bilde an hows to thee; therfor thi seruaunt foond his herte, that he schulde preie thee bi this preier.
28 Und nun, Herr, Jehova, du bist es, der da Gott ist, [O. du bist, der da ist, [w. du bist er, oder derselbe] der Gott] und deine Worte sind Wahrheit, und du hast dieses Gute zu deinem Knechte geredet.
Now therfor, Lord God, thou art veri God, and thi wordis schulen be trewe; for thou hast spoke these goodis to thi seruaunt;
29 So laß es dir nun gefallen und segne das Haus deines Knechtes, daß es ewiglich vor dir sei; denn du, Herr, Jehova, hast geredet, und so werde mit deinem Segen das Haus deines Knechtes gesegnet ewiglich!
therfor bigynne thou, and blesse the hows of thi seruaunt, that it be withouten ende bifor thee; for thou, Lord God, hast spoke these thingis, and bi thi blessyng the hows of thi seruaunt schal be blessid withouten ende.
