1 Samuel 19
1 Und Saul redete zu seinem Sohne Jonathan und zu allen seinen Knechten, daß er David töten wolle. Jonathan aber, der Sohn Sauls, hatte großes Wohlgefallen an David.
And he spoke Saul to Jonathan son his and to all servants his to kill David and Jonathan [the] son of Saul he delighted in David exceedingly.
2 Und Jonathan berichtete es David und sprach: Mein Vater Saul sucht dich zu töten; und nun hüte dich doch morgen und halte dich verborgen und verstecke dich.
And he told Jonathan to David saying [is] seeking Saul father my to kill you and therefore take care please in the morning and you will remain in the hiding place and you will hide yourself.
3 Ich aber will hinausgehen und an der Seite meines Vaters stehen auf dem Felde, wo du bist, und ich will zu meinem Vater von dir reden und sehen, wie es steht, und es dir berichten.
And I I will go out and I will stand to [the] side of father my in the field where you [are] there and I I will speak in you to father my and I will see whatever and I will tell to you.
4 Und Jonathan redete zu seinem Vater Saul Gutes von David und sprach zu ihm: Der König versündige sich nicht an seinem Knechte, an David; denn er hat nicht gegen dich gesündigt, und seine Taten sind dir sehr nützlich.
And he spoke Jonathan in David good to Saul father his and he said to him may not he sin the king against servant his against David for not he has sinned to you and for deeds his [are] good for you exceedingly.
5 Und er hat sein Leben aufs Spiel gesetzt und den Philister erschlagen, und Jehova hat dem ganzen Israel eine große Rettung geschafft. Du hast es gesehen und dich gefreut; und warum willst du dich an unschuldigem Blute versündigen, indem du David tötest ohne Ursache?
And he put life his in palm his and he struck down the Philistine and he made Yahweh a deliverance great for all Israel you saw and you rejoiced and why? will you sin against blood innocent by killing David without cause.
6 Und Saul hörte auf die Stimme Jonathans, und Saul schwur: So wahr Jehova lebt, wenn er getötet wird!
And he listened Saul to [the] voice of Jonathan and he swore an oath Saul [by] [the] life of Yahweh if he will be put to death.
7 Da rief Jonathan dem David, und Jonathan berichtete ihm alle diese Worte. Und Jonathan brachte David zu Saul, und er war vor ihm wie früher.
And he called Jonathan to David and he told to him Jonathan all the words these and he brought Jonathan David to Saul and he was before him as yesterday three days ago.
8 Und es ward wiederum Krieg; und David zog aus und stritt wider die Philister und richtete eine große Niederlage unter ihnen an, und sie flohen vor ihm.
And it repeated the war to be and he went out David and he fought against the Philistines and he defeated them a defeat great and they fled from before him.
9 Und ein böser Geist von Jehova kam über Saul; und er saß in seinem Hause, sein Speer in seiner Hand, und David spielte mit der Hand.
And it was a spirit of Yahweh - evil to Saul and he in house his [was] sitting and spear his [was] in hand his and David [was] playing an instrument with hand.
10 Und Saul suchte David mit dem Speere an die Wand zu spießen; aber er wich aus vor Saul, und er stieß den Speer in die Wand. Und David floh und entrann in selbiger Nacht.
And he sought Saul to strike with the spear David and the wall and he escaped from before Saul and he struck the spear in the wall and David he fled and he escaped in the night that.
11 Da sandte Saul Boten in das Haus Davids, um ihn zu bewachen und ihn am Morgen zu töten. Aber Michal, sein Weib, tat es David kund und sprach: Wenn du nicht diese Nacht deine Seele rettest, so wirst du morgen getötet werden.
And he sent Saul messengers to [the] house of David to watch for him and to kill him in the morning and she told to David Michal wife his saying if not you [are] delivering life your this night tomorrow you [will be] put to death.
12 Und Michal ließ David durchs Fenster hinab; und er ging weg und floh und entrann.
And she let down Michal David through the window and he went and he fled and he escaped.
13 Und Michal nahm den Teraphim [d. h. den Hausgötzen] und legte ihn ins Bett und legte das Geflecht von Ziegenhaar [das im Morgenlande gegen Mücken gebräuchlich war] zu seinen Häupten und deckte ihn mit dem Tuche [O. mit der Decke] zu.
And she took Michal the teraphim and she put [it] into the bed and quilt of goat hair she put [the] place of head its and she covered [it] with the garment.
14 Und Saul sandte Boten, um David zu holen; und sie sprach: Er ist krank.
And he sent Saul messengers to fetch David and she said [is] sick he.
15 Da sandte Saul die Boten, um David zu sehen, und sprach: Bringet ihn im Bett zu mir herauf, daß ich ihn töte!
And he sent Saul the messengers to see David saying bring up him on the bed to me to kill him.
16 Und die Boten kamen, und siehe, der Teraphim war im Bett, und das Geflecht von Ziegenhaar zu seinen Häupten.
And they came the messengers and there! the teraphim [was] to the bed and [the] quilt of goat hair [the] place of head its.
17 Da sprach Saul zu Michal: Warum hast du mich also betrogen und hast meinen Feind gehen lassen, daß er entronnen ist? Und Michal sprach zu Saul: Er sagte zu mir: Laß mich gehen! warum sollte ich dich töten?
And he said Saul to Michal why? thus have you deceived me and you have let go enemy my and he has escaped and she said Michal to Saul he he said to me let go me why? will I kill you.
18 David aber war geflohen und entronnen; und er kam zu Samuel nach Rama und berichtete ihm alles, was Saul ihm getan hatte. Und er und Samuel gingen hin und wohnten zu Najoth.
And David he fled and he escaped and he went to Samuel Ramah towards and he told to him all that he had done to him Saul and he went he and Samuel and they dwelt (at Naioth. *Q(k)*)
19 Und es wurde Saul berichtet und gesagt: Siehe, David ist in Najoth [Wohnungen; viell. die Wohnugen der Prophetenschüler; vergl. v 20] zu Rama.
And it was told to Saul saying there! David ([is] at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
20 Da sandte Saul Boten, um David zu holen. Als sie aber die Versammlung der Propheten sahen, welche weissagten, und Samuel als Vorsteher über sie dabeistehen, da kam der Geist Gottes über die Boten Sauls, und auch sie weissagten.
And he sent Saul messengers to fetch David and he saw [the] company of the prophets prophesying and Samuel [was] standing chief over them and it was on [the] messengers of Saul [the] spirit of God and they prophesied also they.
21 Und man berichtete es Saul, und er sandte andere Boten, und auch sie weissagten; und Saul sandte wiederum dritte Boten, und auch sie weissagten.
And people told to Saul and he sent messengers other and they prophesied also they and he repeated Saul and he sent messengers third and they prophesied also they.
22 Da ging auch er nach Rama und kam an die große Cisterne, die zu Seku ist; und er fragte und sprach: Wo sind Samuel und David? Und man sprach: Siehe, in Najoth zu Rama.
And he went also he Ramah towards and he came to a cistern great which [is] in Secu and he asked and he said where? [are] Samuel and David and someone said there! (at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
23 Und er ging dorthin, nach Najoth zu Rama; und auch über ihn kam der Geist Gottes, und er ging, immerfort weissagend, bis er in Najoth zu Rama ankam.
And he went there to (Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah and it was on him also he [the] spirit of God and he went continuously and he prophesied until came he (at Naioth *Q(k)*) in Ramah.
24 Und auch er zog seine Oberkleider aus, und auch er weissagte vor Samuel, und er lag nackt [d. h. bloß mit dem Unterkleide bedeckt] da jenen ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht. Daher sagt man: Ist auch Saul unter den Propheten?
And he stripped off also he clothes his and he prophesied also he before Samuel and he fell down naked all the day that and all the night there-fore people say ¿ also [is] Saul among the prophets.
