1 Korinther 16
1 Was aber die Sammlung für die Heiligen betrifft: wie ich den Versammlungen von Galatien verordnet habe, also tut auch ihr.
Now concerning the collection for the saints, you must do just as I instructed the congregations in Galatia.
2 An jedem ersten Wochentage lege ein jeder von euch bei sich [O. zu Hause] zurück und sammle auf, je nachdem er Gedeihen hat, auf daß nicht dann, wenn ich komme, Sammlungen geschehen.
On the first day of the week, each of you should set something aside, saving up as he is being prospered, that there be no collections when I come.
3 Wenn ich aber angekommen bin, so will ich die, welche irgend ihr für tüchtig erachten werdet, mit Briefen senden, daß sie eure Gabe [O. Freigebigkeit, Liebesgabe] nach Jerusalem hinbringen.
And when I arrive, I will send whomever you approve by letters to carry your gift to Jerusalem.
4 Wenn es aber angemessen ist, daß auch ich hinreise, so sollen sie mit mir reisen.
But should it be fitting that I go as well, they will go with me.
5 Ich werde aber zu euch kommen, wenn ich Macedonien durchzogen habe, denn ich ziehe durch Macedonien.
Now I will come to you when I pass through Macedonia (for I am coming through Macedonia).
6 Vielleicht aber werde ich bei euch bleiben oder auch überwintern, auf daß ihr mich geleitet, wohin irgend ich reise;
And perhaps I will stay with you awhile, or even winter, that you may send me on my way, wherever I go.
7 denn ich will euch jetzt nicht im Vorbeigehen sehen, denn ich hoffe, einige Zeit bei euch zu bleiben, wenn der Herr es erlaubt.
I do not wish to see you now just in passing, since I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.
8 Ich werde aber bis Pfingsten in Ephesus bleiben,
So I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost,
9 denn eine große und wirkungsvolle Tür ist mir aufgetan, und der Widersacher sind viele.
because a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
10 Wenn aber Timotheus kommt, so sehet zu, daß er ohne Furcht bei euch sei; denn er arbeitet am Werke des Herrn, wie auch ich.
Now if Timothy should come, see to it that he may be with you without fear, because he does the Lord's work just as I do.
11 Es verachte ihn nun niemand. Geleitet ihn aber in Frieden, auf daß er zu mir komme; denn ich erwarte ihn mit den Brüdern.
Therefore no one should despise him; but send him on his way in peace, that he may come to me; I am expecting him along with the brothers.
12 Was aber den Bruder Apollos betrifft, so habe ich ihm viel zugeredet, daß er mit den Brüdern zu euch komme; und er war durchaus [O. allerdings] nicht willens, jetzt zu kommen, doch wird er kommen; wenn er eine gelegene Zeit finden wird.
Now about brother Apollos: I repeatedly urged him to go to you with the brothers, but he just did not want to go at this time; he will go whenever he has an opportunity.
13 Wachet, stehet fest im Glauben; seid männlich, seid stark! [Eig. erstarket]
Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
14 Alles bei euch [O. Alles Eurige] geschehe in Liebe.
Do all you do in love.
15 Ich ermahne [O. bitte] euch aber, Brüder: Ihr kennet das Haus des Stephanas, daß es der Erstling von Achaja ist, und daß sie sich selbst den Heiligen zum Dienst verordnet haben;
Now brothers, you know that the household of Stephanas is the firstfruits of Achaia and that they have really devoted themselves to ministering to the saints,
16 daß auch ihr solchen unterwürfig seid und jedem, der mitwirkt und arbeitet.
so I urge you to submit to such people, to all the fellow-workers and laborers.
17 Ich freue mich aber über die Ankunft [O. Anwesenheit] des Stephanas und Fortunatus und Achaikus, denn diese haben erstattet, was euerseits mangelte.
I am glad about the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus, for what was lacking on your part they have supplied;
18 Denn sie haben meinen Geist erquickt und den eurigen; erkennet nun solche an.
for they refreshed my spirit and yours; so give recognition to such men.
19 Es grüßen euch die Versammlungen Asiens. Es grüßen euch vielmal im Herrn Aquila und Priscilla, samt der Versammlung in ihrem Hause.
The congregations of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla, with the congregation in their house, greet you warmly in the Lord.
20 Es grüßen euch die Brüder alle. Grüßet einander mit heiligem Kuß.
All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
21 Der Gruß mit meiner, des Paulus, Hand.
I, Paul, personally sign this greeting.
22 Wenn jemand den Herrn Jesum Christum nicht lieb hat, der sei Anathema; [d. i. verflucht] Maranatha! [d. i. der Herr kommt od. komme]
If anyone does not love our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. The Lord is coming!
23 Die Gnade des Herrn Jesus Christus sei mit euch!
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24 Meine Liebe sei [O. ist] mit euch allen in Christo Jesu! Amen.
My love is with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
