1 Chronik 6

1 Die Söhne Levis [2. Mose 6,16; 4. Mose 3,14 usw.] waren: Gerson, Kehath und Merari.

The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 Und die Söhne Kehaths: Amram, Jizhar und Hebron und Ussiel.

And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 Und die Söhne Amrams: Aaron und Mose, und Mirjam. Und die Söhne Aarons: Nadab und Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.

And the children of Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 Eleasar zeugte Pinehas; Pinehas zeugte Abischua,

Eleazar begot Phinehas, Phinehas begot Abishua;

5 und Abischua zeugte Bukki, und Bukki zeugte Ussi,

and Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi;

6 und Ussi zeugte Serachja, und Serachja zeugte Merajoth;

and Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth;

7 Merajoth zeugte Amarja, und Amarja zeugte Ahitub,

Meraioth begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;

8 und Ahitub zeugte Zadok, und Zadok zeugte Achimaaz,

and Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Ahimaaz;

9 und Achimaaz zeugte Asarja, und Asarja zeugte Jochanan,

and Ahimaaz begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Johanan;

10 und Jochanan zeugte Asarja; dieser ist es, der den Priesterdienst ausübte in dem Hause, welches Salomo zu Jerusalem gebaut hatte.

and Johanan begot Azariah — he it is that executed the priest's office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem —

11 Und Asarja zeugte Amarja, und Amarja zeugte Ahitub,

and Azariah begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub;

12 und Ahitub zeugte Zadok, und Zadok zeugte Schallum,

and Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Shallum;

13 und Schallum zeugte Hilkija, und Hilkija zeugte Asarja,

and Shallum begot Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begot Azariah;

14 und Asarja zeugte Seraja, und Seraja zeugte Jehozadak;

and Azariah begot Seraiah, and Seraiah begot Jehozadak;

15 und Jehozadak zog mit, als Jehova Juda und Jerusalem durch Nebukadnezar wegführte.

and Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 Die Söhne Levis: Gersom, Kehath und Merari.

The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath and Merari.

17 Und dies sind die Namen der Söhne Gersoms: Libni und Simei.

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni, and Shimei.

18 Und die Söhne Kehaths: Amram und Jizhar und Hebron und Ussiel.

And the sons of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 Die Söhne Meraris: Machli und Musi. Und dies sind die Familien der Leviten nach ihren Vätern:

The sons of Merari: Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.

20 Von Gersom: dessen Sohn Libni, dessen Sohn Jachath, dessen Sohn Simma,

Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son;

21 dessen Sohn Joach, dessen Sohn Iddo, dessen Sohn Serach, dessen Sohn Jeathrai. -

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeatherai his son.

22 Die Söhne Kehaths: dessen Sohn Amminadab, dessen Sohn Korah, dessen Sohn Assir,

The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son;

23 dessen Sohn Elkana, und dessen Sohn Ebjasaph, und dessen Sohn Assir,

Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son;

24 dessen Sohn Tachath, dessen Sohn Uriel, dessen Sohn Ussija, dessen Sohn Saul.

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 Und die Söhne Elkanas: Amasai und Achimoth;

And the sons of Elkanah: Amasai, and Ahimoth.

26 Elkana, die Söhne Elkanas: dessen Sohn [Viell. ist zu lesen: Achimoth; dessen Sohn Elkana, dessen Sohn usw.] Zophai, und dessen Sohn Nachath,

As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son;

27 dessen Sohn Eliab, dessen Sohn Jerocham, dessen Sohn Elkana.

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

28 Und die Söhne Samuels: der Erstgeborene Waschni, und Abija. -

And the sons of Samuel: the first-born Vashni; then Abiah.

29 Die Söhne Meraris: Machli, dessen Sohn Libni, dessen Sohn Simei, dessen Sohn Ussa,

The sons of Merari: Mahli; Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son;

30 dessen Sohn Schimea, dessen Sohn Haggija, dessen Sohn Asaja.

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 Und diese sind es, welche David zur Leitung des Gesanges [O. zum Gesang] im Hause Jehovas anstellte, seitdem die Lade einen Ruheplatz hatte;

And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

32 und sie verrichteten den Dienst vor der Wohnung des Zeltes der Zusammenkunft beim Gesang, [O. mit Gesang] bis Salomo das Haus Jehovas zu Jerusalem gebaut hatte; und sie standen nach ihrer Ordnung ihrem Dienste vor.

And they ministered with song before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem; and they took their station at their service according to their order.

33 Und diese sind es, die da standen, und ihre Söhne: Von den Söhnen der Kehathiter: Heman, der Sänger, der Sohn Joels, des Sohnes Samuels,

And these are they that took their station, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel;

34 des Sohnes Elkanas, des Sohnes Jerochams, des Sohnes Eliels, des Sohnes Toachs, [in 1. Sam. 1,1: Tochu]

the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah;

35 des Sohnes Zuphs, des Sohnes Elkanas, des Sohnes Machaths, des Sohnes Amasais,

the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai;

36 des Sohnes Elkanas, des Sohnes Joels, des Sohnes Asarja, des Sohnes Zephanjas,

the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah;

37 des Sohnes Tachaths, des Sohnes Assirs, des Sohnes Ebjasaphs, des Sohnes Korahs,

the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah;

38 des Sohnes Jizhars, des Sohnes Kehaths, des Sohnes Levis, des Sohnes Israels.

the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

39 Und sein Bruder Asaph, der zu seiner Rechten stand: Asaph, der Sohn Berekjas, des Sohnes Schimeas,

And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand; even Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea;

40 des Sohnes Michaels, des Sohnes Baasejas, des Sohnes Malkijas,

the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah;

41 des Sohnes Ethnis, des Sohnes Serachs, des Sohnes Adajas,

the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah;

42 des Sohnes Ethans, des Sohnes Simmas, des Sohnes Simeis,

the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei;

43 des Sohnes Jachaths, des Sohnes Gersoms, des Sohnes Levis.

the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

44 Und die Söhne Meraris, ihre Brüder, standen zur Linken: Ethan, der Sohn Kischis, des Sohnes Abdis, des Sohnes Malluks,

And on the left hand their brethren the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch;

45 des Sohnes Haschabjas, des Sohnes Amazjas, des Sohnes Hilkijas,

the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah;

46 des Sohnes Amzis, des Sohnes Banis, des Sohnes Schemers,

the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer;

47 des Sohnes Machlis, des Sohnes Musis, des Sohnes Meraris, des Sohnes Levis.

the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 Und ihre Brüder, die Leviten, waren gegeben [Vergl. 4. Mose 3,9;8,16] zu allem Dienst der Wohnung des Hauses Gottes.

And their brethren the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

49 Und Aaron und seine Söhne räucherten auf dem Brandopferaltar und auf dem Räucheraltar, nach [O. zu] allem Geschäft des Allerheiligsten und um Sühnung zu tun für Israel; nach allem, was Mose, der Knecht Gottes, geboten hatte.

But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of burnt-offering, and upon the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

50 Und dies waren die Söhne Aarons: dessen Sohn Eleasar, dessen Sohn Pinehas, dessen Sohn Abischua,

And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son;

51 dessen Sohn Bukki, dessen Sohn Ussi, dessen Sohn Serachja,

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son;

52 dessen Sohn Merajoth, dessen Sohn Amarja, dessen Sohn Ahitub,

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son;

53 dessen Sohn Zadok, dessen Sohn Achimaaz.

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54 Und dies waren ihre Wohnsitze, nach ihren Gehöften [O. Niederlassungen] in ihren Grenzen: Den Söhnen Aarons von dem Geschlecht der Kehathiter [denn für sie war das erste Los],

Now these are their dwelling-places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, for theirs was the first lot,

55 ihnen gaben sie Hebron im Lande Juda und seine Bezirke rings um dasselbe her.

to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah, and the open land round about it;

56 Aber das Feld der Stadt und ihre Dörfer gaben sie Kaleb, dem Sohne Jephunnes.

but the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

57 Und sie gaben den Söhnen Aarons die Zufluchtstadt [Eig. Zufluchtsstädte; so auch v 67] Hebron; und Libna und seine Bezirke, und Jattir, und Estemoa und seine Bezirke,

And to the sons of Aaron they gave the city of refuge, Hebron; Libnah also with the open land about it, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with the open land about it;

58 und Hilen und seine Bezirke, Debir und seine Bezirke,

and Hilen with the open land about it, Debir with the open land about it;

59 und Aschan und seine Bezirke, und Beth-Semes und seine Bezirke.

and Ashan with the open land about it, and Beth-shemesh with the open land about it;

60 Und vom Stamme Benjamin: Geba und seine Bezirke, und Allemeth und seine Bezirke, und Anathoth und seine Bezirke. Alle ihre Städte: dreizehn Städte nach ihren Familien. -

and out of the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with the open land about it, and Alemeth with the open land about it, and Anathoth with the open land about it. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

61 Und den übrigen Söhnen Kehaths gaben sie von dem Geschlecht des Stammes Ephraim und vom Stamme Dan und von der Hälfte des Stammes Manasse [Eig. der Hälfte des Stammes des halben Manasse] durchs Los, zehn Städte. [Vergl. Jos. 21,4 usw.]

And unto the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, out of the family of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.

62 Und den Söhnen Gersoms, nach ihren Familien: vom Stamme Issaschar und vom Stamme Aser und vom Stamme Naphtali und vom Stamme Manasse in Basan, dreizehn Städte.

And to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

63 Den Söhnen Meraris, nach ihren Familien: vom Stamme Ruben und vom Stamme Gad und vom Stamme Sebulon, durchs Los, zwölf Städte.

Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

64 Und die Kinder Israel gaben den Leviten die Städte und ihre Bezirke.

So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with the open land about them.

65 Und zwar gaben sie durchs Los vom Stamme der Kinder Juda und vom Stamme der Kinder Simeon und vom Stamme der Kinder Benjamin diese Städte, die sie mit Namen nannten.

And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.

66 Und die übrigen von den Familien der Söhne Kehaths erhielten die Städte ihres Gebiets vom Stamme Ephraim.

And some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 Und sie gaben ihnen die Zufluchtstadt Sichem und ihre Bezirke, im Gebirge Ephraim; und Geser und seine Bezirke,

And they gave unto them the city of refuge, Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim with the open land about it; Gezer also with the open land about it;

68 und Jokmeam und seine Bezirke, und Beth-Horon und seine Bezirke,

and Jokmeam with the open land about it, and Bethhoron with the open land about it;

69 und Ajalon und seine Bezirke, und Gath-Rimmon und seine Bezirke.

and Aijalon with the open land about it, and Gath-rimmon with the open land about it;

70 Und von der Hälfte des Stammes Manasse: Aner und seine Bezirke, und Bileam und seine Bezirke-den Familien der übrigen Söhne Kehaths.

and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh: Aner with the open land about it, and Bileam with the open land about it, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

71 Den Söhnen Gersoms: vom Geschlecht des halben Stammes Manasse: Golan in Basan und seine Bezirke, und Astaroth und seine Bezirke;

Unto the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with the open land about it, and Ashtaroth with the open land about it;

72 und vom Stamme Issaschar: Kedes und seine Bezirke, und Dobrath und seine Bezirke,

and out of the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with the open land about it, Dobrath with the open land about it;

73 und Ramoth und seine Bezirke, und Anem und seine Bezirke;

and Ramoth with the open land about it, and Anem with the open land about it;

74 und vom Stamme Aser: Maschal und seine Bezirke, und Abdon und seine Bezirke,

and out of the tribe of Asher: Mashal with the open land about it, and Abdon with the open land about it;

75 und Hukok und seine Bezirke, und Rechob und seine Bezirke;

and Hukok with the open land about it; and Rehob with the open land about it;

76 und vom Stamme Naphtali: Kedes in Galiläa und seine Bezirke, und Hammon und seine Bezirke, und Kirjathaim und seine Bezirke.

and out of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with the open land about it, and Hammon with the open land about it, and Kiriathaim with the open land about it.

77 Den übrigen Söhnen Meraris: vom Stamme Sebulon: Rimmono und seine Bezirke, Tabor und seine Bezirke;

Unto the rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with the open land about it, Tabor with the open land about it;

78 und jenseit des Jordan von Jericho, östlich vom Jordan, vom Stamme Ruben: Bezer in der Wüste und seine Bezirke, und Jahza und seine Bezirke,

and beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with the open land about it, and Jahaz with the open land about it,

79 und Kedemoth und seine Bezirke, und Mephaath und seine Bezirke;

and Kedemoth with the open land about it, and Mephaath with the open land about it;

80 und vom Stamme Gad: Ramoth in Gilead und seine Bezirke, und Machanaim und seine Bezirke,

and out of the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead with the open land about it, and Mahanaim with the open land about it,

81 und Hesbon und seine Bezirke, und Jaser und seine Bezirke.

and Heshbon with the open land about it, and Jazer with the open land about it.
