1 Chronik 15
1 Und er machte sich Häuser in der Stadt Davids, und er bereitete einen Ort für die Lade Gottes und schlug ein Zelt für sie auf.
And he makes houses for himself in the City of David, and prepares a place for the Ark of God, and stretches out a tent for it.
2 Damals sprach David: Die Lade Gottes soll niemand tragen als nur die Leviten; denn sie hat Jehova erwählt, um die Lade Gottes zu tragen und seinen Dienst zu verrichten ewiglich.
Then David said, “None [are] to carry the Ark of God, except the Levites, for YHWH has fixed on them to carry the Ark of God and to serve Him for all time.”
3 Und David versammelte ganz Israel nach Jerusalem, um die Lade Jehovas an ihren Ort hinaufzubringen, den er für sie bereitet hatte.
And David assembles all Israel to Jerusalem, to bring up the Ark of YHWH to its place that he had prepared for it.
4 Und David versammelte die Söhne Aarons und die Leviten.
And David gathers the sons of Aaron and the Levites—
5 Von den Söhnen Kehaths: Uriel, den Obersten, und seine Brüder, 120;
of sons of Kohath: Uriel the chief and one hundred and twenty of his brothers;
6 von den Söhnen Meraris: Asaja, den Obersten, und seine Brüder, 220;
of sons of Merari: Asaiah the chief and two hundred and twenty of his brothers;
7 von den Söhnen Gersoms: Joel, den Obersten, und seine Brüder, 130;
of sons of Gershom: Joel the chief and one hundred and thirty of his brothers;
8 von den Söhnen Elizaphans: Schemaja, den Obersten, und seine Brüder, 200;
of sons of Elizaphan: Shemaiah the chief and two hundred of his brothers;
9 von den Söhnen Hebrons: Eliel, den Obersten, und seine Brüder, 80;
of sons of Hebron: Eliel the chief and eighty of his brothers;
10 von den Söhnen Ussiels: Amminadab, den Obersten, und seine Brüder, 112.
of sons of Uzziel: Amminadab the chief and one hundred and twelve of his brothers.
11 Und David berief Zadok und Abjathar, die Priester, und die Leviten Uriel, Asaja und Joel, Schemaja und Eliel und Amminadab,
And David calls to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, and to the Levites, to Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,
12 und er sprach zu ihnen: Ihr seid die Häupter der Väter der Leviten; heiliget euch, ihr und eure Brüder, und bringet die Lade Jehovas, des Gottes Israels, hinauf an den Ort, welchen ich [W. hinauf, wohin ich usw.] für sie bereitet habe.
and says to them, “You [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brothers, and you have brought up the Ark of YHWH, God of Israel, to [the place] I have prepared for it;
13 Denn weil ihr das vorige Mal es nicht tatet, so machte Jehova, unser Gott, einen Bruch unter uns, weil wir ihn nicht suchten nach der Vorschrift.
because you [did] not [do it] at the first, our God YHWH made a breach on us, because we did not seek Him according to the ordinance.”
14 Da heiligten sich die Priester und die Leviten, um die Lade Jehovas, des Gottes Israels, hinaufzubringen.
And the priests and the Levites sanctify themselves to bring up the Ark of YHWH, God of Israel;
15 Und die Söhne der Leviten trugen die Lade Gottes auf ihren Schultern, indem sie die Stangen auf sich legten, [Eig. mit den Stangen auf sich] so wie Mose geboten hatte nach dem Worte Jehovas.
and sons of the Levites carry the Ark of God, as Moses commanded, according to the word of YHWH, above them with poles on their shoulder.
16 Und David befahl den Obersten der Leviten, ihre Brüder, die Sänger, mit Musikinstrumenten, Harfen und Lauten und Cymbeln zu bestellen, damit sie laut spielten, [O. sängen; so auch v 19. 28 usw.] indem sie die Stimme erhöben mit Freude.
And David says to the heads of the Levites to appoint their brothers the singers, with instruments of song, psalteries, and harps, and cymbals, sounding, to lift up with the voice for joy.
17 Und die Leviten bestellten Heman, den Sohn Joels, und von seinen Brüdern Asaph, den Sohn Berekjas; und von den Söhnen Meraris, ihren Brüdern, Ethan, den Sohn Kuschajas;
And the Levites appoint Heman son of Joel, and of his brothers, Asaph son of Berechiah, and of the sons of Merari their brothers, Ethan son of Kushaiah;
18 und mit ihnen ihre Brüder zweiten Ranges: Sekarja, Ben und Jaasiel und Schemiramoth und Jechiel und Unni, Eliab und Benaja und Maaseja und Mattithja und Elipheleh und Mikneja und Obed-Edom und Jeghiel, die Torhüter; -
and with them their brothers, the seconds [in rank]: Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah; and Obed-Edom and Jeiel the gatekeepers;
19 und zwar die Sänger Heman, Asaph und Ethan, mit ehernen Cymbeln, um laut zu spielen;
and the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, [are] to sound with cymbals of bronze;
20 und Sekarja und Asiel und Schemiramoth und Jechiel und Unni und Eliab und Maaseja und Benaja mit Harfen auf Alamoth; [Alamoth und Scheminith [Oktave] bezeichnen wahrsch. die hohe und die [um acht Töne] tiefere Stimmlage]
and Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jeheil, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries over the girls’ [voices],
21 und Mattithja und Elipheleh und Mikneja und Obed-Edom und Jeghiel und Asasja mit Lauten auf Scheminith: [Alamoth und Scheminith [Oktave] bezeichnen wahrsch. die hohe und die [um acht Töne] tiefere Stimmlage] um den Gesang zu leiten.
and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, to oversee with harps on the eighth.
22 Und Kenanja war der Anführer der Leviten im Gesang; er unterwies im Gesang, [O. der Leviten beim Tragen; er unterwies im Tragen] denn er war kundig darin.
And Chenaniah, head of the Levites, [is] over the burden; he instructs about the burden, for he [is] intelligent.
23 Und Berekja und Elkana waren Torhüter der Lade.
And Berechiah and Elkanah [are] gatekeepers for the Ark.
24 Und Schebanja und Josaphat und Nethaneel und Amasai und Sekarja und Benaja und Elieser, die Priester, schmetterten mit den Trompeten vor der Lade Gottes her. Und Obed-Edom und Jechija waren Torhüter der Lade.
And Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer the priests, are blowing with trumpets before the Ark of God; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah [are] gatekeepers for the Ark.
25 Und [2. Sam. 6,12] so zogen David und die Ältesten von Israel und die Obersten über tausend hin, um die Lade des Bundes Jehovas aus dem Hause Obed-Edoms heraufzuholen mit Freuden.
And it is David, and [the] elderly of Israel, and the heads of the thousands, who are going to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH from the house of Obed-Edom with joy;
26 Und es geschah, da Gott den Leviten half, welche die Lade des Bundes Jehovas trugen, so opferten sie sieben Farren und sieben Widder.
and it comes to pass, in God’s helping the Levites carrying the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, that they sacrifice seven bullocks and seven rams.
27 Und David war angetan mit einem Oberkleide von Byssus, ebenso alle Leviten, welche die Lade trugen, und die Sänger und Kenanja, der Anführer des Gesanges [O. beim Tragen; viell. ist das Wort "der Sänger" im hebr. Texte irrtümlich wiederholt] der Sänger; und David trug ein leinenes Ephod. [W. ein Ephod von Weißzeug]
And David is wrapped in an upper robe of fine linen, and all the Levites who are carrying the Ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah head of the burden of the singers; and an Ephod of linen [is] on David.
28 Und ganz Israel brachte die Lade des Bundes Jehovas hinauf mit Jauchzen und mit Posaunenschall und mit Trompeten und mit Cymbeln, laut spielend mit Harfen und Lauten.
And all of Israel is bringing up the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH with shouting, and with the sound of a horn, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding with psalteries and harps,
29 Und es geschah, als die Lade des Bundes Jehovas in die Stadt Davids kam, da schaute Michal, die Tochter Sauls, durchs Fenster; und sie sah den König David hüpfen und spielen, und sie verachtete ihn in ihrem Herzen.
and it comes to pass, the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH is entering into the City of David, and Michal daughter of Saul is looking through the window, and sees King David dancing and playing, and despises him in her heart.
