Johannes 17
1 Nach diesen Worten hob Jesus seine Augen auf zum Himmel und sprach: "Vater, die Stunde ist nun da! Verherrliche deinen Sohn, auf daß der Sohn dich auch verherrliche!
These thingis Jhesus spak, and whanne he hadde cast vp hise iyen in to heuene, he seide, Fadir, the our cometh, clarifie thi sone, that thi sone clarifie thee.
2 Du hast ihm ja die Macht verliehen über alle Menschen, damit er allen, die du ihm gegeben, das ewige Leben schenke. (aiōnios g166)
As thou hast youun to hym power on ech fleisch, that al thing that thou hast youun to hym, he yyue to hem euerlastynge lijf. (aiōnios g166)
3 Dies aber ist ja das ewige Leben: daß man erkenne dich, den einen wahren Gott, und ihn, den du gesandt hast, Jesus Christus. (aiōnios g166)
And this is euerlastynge lijf, that thei knowe thee very God aloone, and whom thou hast sent, Jhesu Crist. (aiōnios g166)
4 Ich habe dich verherrlicht hier auf Erden: Das Werk habe ich vollendet, das du mir hast zu tun gegeben.
Y haue clarified thee on the erthe, Y haue endid the werk, that thou hast youun to me to do.
5 Und jetzt verherrliche mich du, o Vater: Nimm mich zu dir in jene Herrlichkeit, die ich schon, eh die Welt war, bei dir hatte!
And now, fadir, clarifie thou me at thi silf, with the clerenesse that Y hadde at thee, bifor the world was maad.
6 Ich habe deinen Namen kundgetan den Menschen, die du mir aus der Welt gegeben hast. Dein waren sie, mir hast du sie gegeben, und dein Wort haben sie befolgt.
Y haue schewid thi name to tho men, whiche thou hast youun to me of the world; thei weren thine, and thou hast youun hem to me, and thei han kept thi word.
7 Nun haben sie erkannt, daß alles, was du mir gegeben, von dir kommt.
And now thei han knowun, that alle thingis that thou hast youun to me, ben of thee.
8 Denn die Worte, die du mir vertraut, die habe ich ihnen mitgeteilt. Die haben sie auch angenommen: Sie haben in der Tat erkannt, daß ich von dir bin ausgegangen, und haben auch geglaubt, daß du mich hast gesandt.
For the wordis that thou hast youun to me, Y yaf to hem; and thei han takun, and han knowun verili, that Y wente out fro thee; and thei bileueden, that thou sentist me.
9 Ich bitte nun für sie. Nicht für die Welt will ich jetzt bitten, sondern nur für sie, die du mir hast gegeben; denn sie sind dein.
Y preie for hem, Y preye not for the world, but for hem that thou hast youun to me, for thei ben thine.
10 Was mein ist, ist ja alles dein, und das, was dein, ist mein. So bin ich denn in ihnen auch verherrlicht.
And alle my thingis ben thine, and thi thingis ben myne; and Y am clarified in hem.
11 Ich bleibe nun nicht länger in der Welt, sie bleiben noch hier in der Welt, ich aber gehe hin zu dir. Heiliger Vater, erhalte sie in deinem Namen, den kundzutun du mir verliehen hast, damit sie eins sein können, gleichwie wir eins sind.
And now Y am not in the world, and these ben in the world, and Y come to thee. Hooli fadir, kepe hem in thi name, whiche thou yauest to me, that thei ben oon, as we ben.
12 Solange ich in ihrer Mitte weilte, erhielt ich sie in deinem Namen; sie, die du mir gegeben hast, die habe ich behütet, und keiner ist aus ihrem Kreis verloren als 'der Verlorene' allein, daß sich die Schrift erfülle.
While Y was with hem, Y kepte hem in thi name; thilke that thou yauest to me, Y kepte, and noon of hem perischide, but the sone of perdicioun, that the scripture be fulfillid.
13 Jetzt aber gehe ich zu dir; und dieses rede ich noch in der Welt, daß meine Freude ihre Herzen ganz erfülle.
But now Y come to thee, and Y speke these thingis in the world, that thei haue my ioie fulfillid in hem silf.
14 Ich habe ihnen dein Wort mitgeteilt, die Welt jedoch ist gegen sie voll Haß. Denn sie gehören nicht zur Welt, wie ich nicht zur Welt gehöre.
Y yaf to hem thi word, and the world hadde hem in hate; for thei ben not of the world, as Y am not of the world.
15 Ich bitte nicht: Nimm sie aus dieser Welt, bewahre sie vielmehr, daß sie nicht in des Bösen Macht geraten!
Y preye not, that thou take hem awei fro the world, but that thou kepe hem fro yuel.
16 Sie gehören nicht zur Welt, wie ich nicht zur Welt gehöre.
They ben not of the world, as Y am not of the world.
17 Weihe sie mit deiner Wahrheit: Dein Wort ist ja die Wahrheit.
Halewe thou hem in treuth; thi word is treuthe.
18 Gleichwie du mich gesandt hast in die Welt, so habe auch ich sie in die Welt gesandt.
As thou sentist me in to the world, also Y sente hem `in to the world.
19 Zu ihrem Heil weihe ich mich als Opfer, damit auch sie wahrhaft Geweihte seien.
And Y halewe my silf for hem, that also thei ben halewid in treuthe.
20 Ich bitte aber nicht für sie allein. Ich bitte auch für jene, die durch ihr Zeugnis an mich glauben.
And Y preye not oneli for hem, but also for hem that schulden bileue in to me bi the word of hem;
21 Laß sie alle eins sein, wie du, Vater, in mir und ich in dir! Laß auch sie in uns eins sein, damit die Welt es glaube, daß du mich gesandt!
that all ben oon, as thou, fadir, in me, and Y in thee, that also thei in vs be oon; that the world bileue, that thou hast sent me.
22 Darum habe ich die Herrlichkeit, die du mir gegeben, auch ihnen mitgeteilt, damit sie eins sein können, gleichwie wir eins sind.
And Y haue youun to hem the clerenesse, that thou hast youun to me, that thei ben oon,
23 Ich bin in ihnen, und du bist in mir; so laß auch sie nun eng verbunden sein in eins, damit die Welt erkenne, daß du mich gesandt und sie geliebt hast, wie du mich geliebt.
as we ben oon; Y in hem, and thou in me, that thei be endid in to oon; and that the world knowe, that thou sentist me, and hast loued hem, as thou hast loued also me.
24 Vater, mein Verlangen ist, daß alle, die du mir gegeben hast, dort mit mir weilen, wo ich bin, damit sie schauen meine Herrlichkeit, die ich von dir empfangen; denn du hast mich geliebt vor Grundlegung der Welt.
Fadir, thei whiche thou yauest to me, Y wole that where Y am, that thei be with me, that thei see my clerenesse, that thou hast youun to me; for thou louedist me bifor the makyng of the world.
25 Gerechter Vater, hat auch die Welt dich nicht erkannt, ich habe dich erkannt, und diese hier, sie haben es erkannt, daß du mich hast gesandt.
Fadir, riytfuli the world knew thee not, but Y knew thee, and these knewen, that thou sentist me.
26 Und deinen Namen habe ich ihnen kundgetan und will ihn weiter kundtun, damit die Liebe, die du mir bewiesen, auch in ihnen sei, und ich in ihnen."
And Y haue maad thi name knowun to hem, and schal make knowun; that the loue bi which thou `hast loued me, be in hem, and Y in hem.
