1 Johannes 2
1 Meine lieben Kinder! Dies schreibe ich euch, damit ihr nicht sündigt. Und sündigt doch jemand, so haben wir einen Fürsprecher bei dem Vater: Jesus Christus, den Gerechten.
My little children, I write these things unto you, that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
2 Der ist die Sühne für unsere Sünden, und nicht für unsere allein, sondern auch für die Sünden der ganzen Welt.
And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 Dies ist das Merkmal, daß wir ihn erkannt: wir halten seine Gebote.
And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep his commandments.
4 Wer behauptet: "Ich habe ihn erkannt" und seine Gebote nicht hält, der lügt; in solchem Menschen wohnt nicht die Wahrheit.
He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 Wer aber seinem Wort gehorcht, in dem ist wirklich die Liebe zu Gott vollkommen geworden. Daran zeigt sich, daß wir in ihm sind.
But whosoever keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: and by this we know that we are in Him.
6 Wer da behauptet, er bleibe in ihm, der muß auch wandeln, wie Er gewandelt.
He that saith, he abideth in Him, ought himself also so to walk even as He walked.
7 Geliebte, nicht ein neues Gebot schreibe ich euch nun, sondern ein altes Gebot, das ihr gehabt von Anfang an. Dies alte Gebot ist jenes Wort, das ihr bereits gehört.
Brethren, I write not a new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning: the old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning:
8 Und doch schreibe ich euch ein neues Gebot; das ist es wirklich im Blick auf ihn und auf euch. Denn die Finsternis ist im Schwinden begriffen, und das wahre Licht hat zu leuchten begonnen.
though I write it again as a new commandment, which is truth in Him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 Wer nun behauptet, er sei im Licht, und doch seinen Bruder haßt, der ist noch immer in Finsternis.
Now he that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is still in darkness:
10 Wer seinen Bruder liebhat, der ist fort und fort im Licht, und in seinem Geist ist nichts, das ihn zu Fall bringen könnte.
whereas, he that loveth his brother, abideth in the light, and is in no danger of stumbling.
11 Wer aber seinen Bruder haßt, der lebt in der Finsternis und wandelt in der Finsternis und weiß nicht, wohin er geht; denn die Finsternis hat seine Augen blind gemacht.
But he, that hateth his brother, is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not where he goeth, because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.
12 Ich schreibe euch, liebe Kinder, weil euch die Sünden um seines Namens willen vergeben sind.
I write unto you, little children, because for his sake your sins are forgiven you:
13 Ich schreibe euch, ihr Väter, weil ihr den erkannt habt, der von Anfang ist. Ich schreibe euch, ihr Jünglinge, weil ihr den Bösen überwunden habt.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning: and I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. Yea I have written to you, little children, because ye have known the Father:
14 Ich habe euch geschrieben, liebe Kinder, weil ihr den Vater erkannt habt, der von Anfang ist. Ich habe euch, ihr Jünglinge, geschrieben, weil ihr stark seid durch das Wort Gottes unablässig in euch wohnt und ihr den Bösen überwunden habt.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning: and I have written to you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one---
15 Habt nicht lieb die Welt, noch was in der Welt ist! Wer die Welt liebhat, in dem wohnt nicht die Liebe zum Vater.
Love not the world, nor the things that are in the world; for if any one love the world to excess, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 Denn alles weltliche Wesen — die Fleischeslust, die Augenlust und das großtuerische Leben — stammt nicht von dem Vater, sondern von der Welt.
For all that is in the world, the desire of the flesh, and the desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world.
17 Und die Welt fährt dahin mit ihrer Lust; wer aber den Willen Gottes tut, der bleibt in Ewigkeit. (aiōn g165)
And the world passeth away, and the desire of it: but he, that doth the will of God, abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
18 Kinder! Die letzte Stunde ist da! Ihr habt gehört, ein Widerchrist soll kommen. Jetzt aber sind schon Widerchristen in großer Anzahl aufgetreten. Daran erkennen wir: die letzte Stunde ist da.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that an antichrist will come, there are even now many antichrists, whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 Sie sind aus unserer Mitte hervorgegangen, aber sie haben uns innerlich nicht angehört. Denn hätten sie uns angehört, so wären sie bei uns geblieben. Doch sie haben uns verlassen, damit es sich zeige, daß nicht alle zu uns gehören.
They went out from us, but they were not of us: for if they had been indeed of us, they would have continued with us; but this was done that they might be made manifest, because all, that are with us, are not indeed of us.
20 Ihr aber habt die Salbung von dem Heiligen empfangen und wißt alles.
And ye have an unction from the holy One, and know all.
21 Ich habe euch nicht geschrieben, weil ihr sie kennt und deshalb auch wissen müßt, daß keine Lüge aus der Wahrheit kommt.
I have not therefore written to you, because ye know not the truth; but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 Wer sonst ist der Lügner, als der da leugnet, Jesus sei auch der Christus? Ein solcher Leugner ist der Widerchrist: er leugnet den Vater und den Sohn.
Who is a liar, if not he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, that denieth the Father as well as the Son;
23 Jeder, der den Sohn leugnet, hat auch den Vater nicht. Wer den Sohn bekennt, der hat auch den Vater.
for whosoever denieth the Son, hath not the Father: but he that confesseth the Son acknowledgeth the Father also.
24 Was ihr von Anfang an gehört, das soll in euern Herzen bleiben! Bleibt aber das in euch, was ihr von Anfang an gehört, so werdet auch ihr in dem Sohn und dem Vater bleiben.
Let that therefore, which ye have heard from the beginning, abide in you: for if that, which ye heard from the beginning, remain in you, ye also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
And this is the promise which He hath promised us, even eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 So viel schreibe ich über die, die euch verführen wollen.
These things have I written unto you concerning those who would seduce you.
27 Und die Salbung, die ihr von ihm empfangen habt, die bleibt in euch. Ihr habt nicht nötig, daß euch jemand belehre. Sondern wie euch seine Salbung über alles belehrt, so ist's auch wahr und keine Lüge. Wie sie euch belehrt, so bleibt in ihm!
But the unction, which ye have received from Him, abideth in you; and therefore ye have no need that any should teach you: since this very unction teacheth you concerning all things, and is truth and not falshood; even as that hath taught you, abide in Him.
28 Nun, liebe Kinder, bleibt in ihm! Dann haben wir, wenn er erscheint, auch freudige Zuversicht, und wir brauchen bei seiner Wiederkunft nicht mit Scham und Schande von ihm zu weichen.
And now, little children, abide, I say, in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and may not be ashamed before Him at his coming.
29 Wenn ihr wißt, daß er gerecht ist, so bedenkt auch: jeder, der Gerechtigkeit übt, ist aus ihm erzeugt.
If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one, who practiseth righteousness, is born of Him.
