1 Histiko nuni xiillida gishshi nu Goda Yesus Kirisitoosa baggara nuusu Xoossara sarotethi dees.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, let us be at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 Hayssa ha ammanozan miinid diza kiyatethan nuni geliday iza baggara gidida gishshi ufayssan Xoossa boncho gishetti ekizayta gidida gishshi nu ufa7etosu.
through whom also we have had the access, by the Faith, into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 Hayssan xalala gidontta nuna gakiza waayenkka ufa7eetoos. Gaasoyka waayey danda7an gathizaysa nu erosu.
Not only so, but we should also rejoice in the sufferings, knowing that the suffering produces perseverance;
4 Danida7ay paaccen minoteth immes; paaccen minoteth ufaysi immees.
and the perseverance, proven character; and the proven character, hope;
5 He ufaysay nuna qasse nuna yellachena. Xoossi nuusu immida xiillo ayanan ba siqqo nu wozinan gusiida gishshi he ufayssay nuna yellan gathena.
and the hope does not humiliate, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
6 Nu daburanchata gidi dishin Xoossa wodey gakida mala Kirisitoosay nu nagara gishshi hayqides.
Now then, when we were incapacitated, even so Christ died for the ungodly, at the right moment.
7 Xiillo asa gishshi hayqana asi bistanays daro metees. Loo7o asa gishshi hayqanas xalana asi oonee erizay bettana dandda7ees.
Now scarcely even for a righteous person will someone offer to die (although on behalf of a good man someone might dare even to die),
8 Gido attin nu buro nagaranicha gidi uttidishin Kiristoosay nu gishshi hayqides. Hesikka Xoossi nuna siqiza ba siiqo heysan besses.
but God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!
9 Nuni iza suuthan geyidayta gidikko harappeka iza baggara Xoossa hanqqofe attana.
So now that we have been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from the wrath through Him!
10 Nu Xoossas morketa gidi dishe iza naaza hayqon izara giigidayta gidikko nu izara giigdappe guye iza shemppo baggara nuni keehi attana.
Because since we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, while we were enemies, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!
11 Hessa xalala gidenna; qassekka nuni ha7i izara giiga demmida nu Goda Yesusi kiristoosa baggara Xoossankka ufays oothos.
No wonder we rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation!
12 Hessa gishshi nagaray issade geedon duge ha alameza yida mala hayqoykka nagara geedon yides. Hayqoykka hessa baggara asa wurisoko yides. hessas gaasoy asi wurikka iza baggara nagara oothida gishshikko.
Now then, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, just so death spread to all men, because all sinned
13 Wogay immettanape kase nagaray biitta bolla deesishin wogay baynddason nagaray nagara gidena.
—sin was in the world before the law, to be sure, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam's transgression (he is a type of the coming one).
15 Gidikokka iza kiyatetha immotay asa qoho mala gidena. Issadey mooridayssan daro asay hayqqikokka Xoossa kiyatethanine issi asi Yesusi kiristoosa kiyatethan yida immotay darotas keehi dari immetides.
Now the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one, how much more did God's grace and the bounty by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many!
16 Qasseka Xoossa immotay issade baggara yida nagarappe beettida ayife mala gidenna. Gaasoykka iza piriday issade nagara kaallid pirida ekki yides. Again, the gift is not like what came from one man's having sinned: because the judgment into condemnation followed one offense, while the gracious gift into justification followed many offenses.
Further, if by the offense of the one man death reigned through that man, much more will those who receive the abundance of the grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
18 Hisitko issade qoho geedon piriday asa wuriso bolla gakkida mala hessathokka issade xiillotetha oothon asi wurisos deyo immiza xiillotethi beettides.
So then, as through one offense there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is life-giving justification for everyone.
19 Issadey azazetontta ixxida gishshi daro asay nagarancha gidida mala issade azazetethan qase daroti xiillana.
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be constituted righteous.
20 Wogay yiin mooroy darides. Gido attin nagaray daroyssafe bollara Xoossa kiyatethi keehi darides.
However, law came on the scene so that the offense might abound; but where the sin abounded, the grace superabounded,
21 Hesska handay nagaray hayqo bolla kawotidayssa mala Yesus kiristoosa baggara qasse medhina deyoy bettana mala iza kiyatethan kawotanaskko. (aiōnios g166)
so that just as sin reigned in the death, so also the grace might reign through righteousness into eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
