1 Inte bola pirdetonta mala hara asa bolla pirdofitte.
Judge not, that you be not judged;
2 Inte pirdida mala inte bola pirdistana. Inte makkida mishara intes makistana.
for as you judge, you shall be judged; and the measure which you give, the same you shall receive.
3 Ne ayfen diza gita miththa beyonta dashe ne isha ayfen diza qeri bura aazas xelay?
And why do you observe the mote in your brother's eye, but you are insensible of the splinter in your own eye?
4 Ne ayfen gita mith dishin ne isha “ane ta ne ayfeppe qeri buuryo kesays” ganas wana danda7ay?
Or how dare you say to your brother, let me take the mote out of your eye; when lo! you have a splinter in your own?
5 Neno qodheppe qommon hanizayso kasistada ne ayfen diza gita miththa kesa gida hessafe kalada ne isha ayfen diza bura kesanas lo7otha xelandasa.
Hypocrite, first take the splinter out of your own eye; then you will see clearly to take the mote out of your brother's eye.
6 Be ton yedhonta malane simidi intena saxi dakerethonta mala anjetidaysa kanata sinthanine Worqa gudunthata sinthan yegopitte.
Give not things holy to dogs, and cast not your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under foot, and turn upon you, and tear you apart.
7 wosite intes imistana, koyte inte demana kare qoxitte intes doyistana.
Ask, and you shall obtain; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.
8 Wosidades wursos imistana koyza uray demana qoxizades karey doyistana.
For whosoever asks, obtains; whosoever seeks, finds; and to every one who knocks, the door shall be opened.
9 inte gidoppe isadenay uketh wosikko shuchu immiza aaway dandde?
Who of you men would give his son a stone, when he asks bread;
10 woykko mole wosikko shoshu imizadey dande?
or a serpent, when he asks a fish?
11 Histin inte itata gidi utidi inte naytas lo7o miish immo erizayta gidikko inte salo away iza wosizaytas waanidi adhiza lo7o miish imane?
If you then, though evil, can give good things to your children, how much more will your Father, who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him?
12 Hessa gish hara assi intes othana mala inte koyzaysa mala intekka haratas othite. Musse wogayne nabeti hayssan kuuyetes.
Whatever you would that others do to you, do you the same to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
13 Xuntha pengera gelitte, dhaysana efiza oggey gita, pengeykka aho, daro asay he pengezara geles.
Enter in through the strait gate; for wide is the gate of perdition, broad is its way leading thither; and many are they who enter by it.
14 deyos gathiza ogey gidiko xuntha, pengeykka xuntha, gelanaytikka guuthata xalala.
But how strait is the gate of life; how narrow the way leading thither; and how few are they who find it!
15 istas garssa bagay sudhume /kana suyqqe/ mala giidi utidine dorssa ite mayidi inte gido gelid garssara oothiza wordo nabetappe naagetite.
Beware of false teachers, who come to you in the garb of sheep, while inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 inte ista ista oothon erandista. Aguntha worappe woyney, qum7ude agunthafe etha ayfey maxetizee?
By their fruits you shall discover them. Are grapes gathered from thorns; or figs from thistles?
17 Hessathokka lo7o mithi wuri lo7o ayfes iita mithika iita ayfe ayfees.
Every good tree yields good fruit, and every evil tree evil fruit.
18 lo7o mithi iita ayfe ayfanas danda7ontaysa mala iita mithi lo7o ayfe ayfanas danda7ena.
A good tree can not yield evil fruit, nor an evil tree good fruit.
19 lo7o ayfe ayfonta mithi wurikka qannxxistanane taman yegistana.
Every tree which yields not good fruit, is cut down, and turned into fuel.
20 hesssa gish inte ista ista ayfen erana.
Wherefore, by their fruits you shall discover them.
21 salon diza ta aawa shene polonta dishe tana ‘godo godo’ gizay wuri salo kawotethi gelena.
Not every one who says to me, Master, Master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father, who is in heaven.
22 he gelas daroti “godo godo nuni ne sunthan buro hananaysa yootibeykoni? ne sunthan daydanthi kesibeykoni? ne sunthan daro malata oothibeykoni?” gaana shin
Many will say to me on that day, Master, Master, have we not taught in thy name, and in thy name performed many miracles?
23 he wode ta istas “ta intena mulekka erabeykke inte iitati taape haakite” gaada qoncera ta istas yootana.
To whom I will declare, I never acknowledged you. Depart from me, you who practice iniquity.
24 histikko hayssa ta qaala siyidi oothon peyshizadey ba keeth zaala bolla keexizade milatees.
Therefore, whosoever hears these my precepts, and does them, I will compare to a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock.
25 Handzidze iray bukin haroykka gogides carkoyka carkides, keethaka sugides, shin zaala bolla keexetida gish kundibena.
For although the rain descended, and the rivers overflowed, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, it fell not, because it was founded upon the rock.
26 Haysa ta qaala siyidi oothonta uray gidiko ba keeth ace bolla keexxida eeya ura mala.
But whosoever hears these my precepts, and does them not, shall be compared to a simpleton, who built his house upon the sand.
27 Handzidze iray bukin haroyka harotides, carkoyka carkides, he keethaka sugides keethayka iita kundethi kundides.
For when the rain descended, and the rivers overflowed, and the winds blew, and dashed against that house, it fell, and great was its ruin.
28 Yesuusay tamarsi wursin asay iza timirtezan malaletides.
When Jesus had ended this discourse, the people were struck with awe at his manner of teaching;
29 Gasoyka Musse wogga tamarsizayta mala gidonta izi godatethi diza asa mala tamarsida gishasa.
for he taught as one who had authority, and not as the Scribes.
