< Yanisa Mishiracho 2 >
1 Hedzdzantho galas Galillan garsan diza Qaana gettetizza Kataman sargey dees. Yesussa Ayeeyakka hen dawus.
And [on] the third day a wedding happened in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there,
2 Yesussayne iza kalizaytikka sargezaso xxeygetida.
and also Jesus was called, and His disciples, to the wedding;
3 Sargezason woynefe agida ushshayi wuriini Yesussa ayaa Yesussa “woyiine ushshayi wurdeskko” gaduss.
and wine having failed, the mother of Jesus says to Him, “They have no wine”;
4 Yesussaykka izo “Ayye tass nenara azi dizze, ta woddeye gakiibeynakko gides”
Jesus says to her, “What [is that] to Me and to you, woman? My hour is not yet come.”
5 He wode Yesussa ayeya Marama hen gadeezzan diza oothanchata “izi initena gizaaysa oththite” gadus.
His mother says to the servants, “Whatever He may say to you—do.”
6 Ayhudatas geshshoo wogayi diza gish usupuuni shuchchafe medhdhetiida gaanetti heen iza ollan dettes, isittikka issay issay nam77u otto wayeko hedzdzuu otto hathth oyikkes.
And there were six water-jugs of stone there, placed according to the purifying of the Jews, holding each two or three measures.
7 Yesussay oththanichchata “ganeetta heththe kuniithitte” gin isstikka ganetta duunna gakanas cip hisitti kunnththida.
Jesus says to them, “Fill the water-jugs with water”; and they filled them—to the brim;
8 Hassafe qassekka oththanichchate “anne ha7i duqqidi sargeza allafezas izappe duqqii imiite” gidesi. Istika duuqqi imiida.
and He says to them, “Draw out, now, and carry to the headwaiter”; and they bore.
9 Alaafeziikka wooynne ushchan lamettada haththa ganxxi xallidiine izi awappe yidakkonne eribeyna. Haththa duqqidayti gidikko erettes. Hessa gish sargeza allahaaththaey mishiraza xegiidi hizgiidesi.
And as the headwaiter tasted the water become wine, and did not know where it is from (but the servants knew, who have drawn the water), the headwaiter calls the bridegroom,
10 “Assi wuri sargeesoon koyyro lo7o usshshi shishshees, asay maththotidappe guye iitta ehes shini ne qass lo7o ushshu hano gakanas woththagadasa.”
and says to him, “Every man, at first, sets forth the good wine; and when they may have drunk freely, then the inferior; you kept the good wine until now.”
11 Yesussay hessa mallalisiza malata wursofe koyro Galila getetiza deren Qana katamane othides. Be bonchoka hessamalan xoncisides. Iza kalizaytka izan amanida.
This [is the] beginning of the signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him;
12 Hesafe guye Yesussay ba Ayera ba ishatarane bena kalizaytara duge Qifirnahome wodhidi hen gutha wode deyida.
after this He went down to Capernaum, He, and His mother, and His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not remain there many days.
13 Ayhudata paziga ba7aaleye matida gish Yesussay Yarussalame bidess.
And the Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
14 Maqqidase gibbe gidon borata doresatanne wolista bayzizayta qassekka mishe lamizayti mishe lamishin demidess.
and He found in the temple those selling oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money-changers sitting,
15 Hesa beydi wodoro durqafe doqqi ekidi asanne boratakka maqidqse gibefe kesidese, mishsh lamizyta mishaka dharcidi ista xraphezatakka shiri yagidass.
and having made a whip of small cords, He put all forth out of the temple, also the sheep, and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money-changers, and He overthrew the tables,
16 Woole bayziza asakka “hayssa wursi gede digitte ta Awa ketha zale7a keeth histofitte” gidess.
and He said to those selling the doves, “Take these things from here; do not make the house of My Father a house of merchandise.”
17 He wode iza kalizayti “ne ketha michay tana tamamala xugess” geteti xafetida qaalla hasa7ida.
And His disciples remembered that it is written: “The zeal of Your house ate Me up”;
18 Hesafe guye Ayhude asa halaqati Yesussa “Ne haysssa wurssa oothanas sheney ness dizaysa qoncisanas ne nuna ay malalthiza malata besanee?” gi oychida.
the Jews then answered and said to Him, “What sign do You show to us—that You do these things?”
19 Yesussaykka istas “anne hayssa maqidaseza lalite ta iza heedzdzu galasara zara kexxana” gi zaridess.
Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 Istika iza “hayssa maqidaseza kexxanas kasa ooydu tammane usupun layth ekidess histin neni hezu glasara kexxa kunthanee?” gi oychida.
The Jews, therefore, said, “This temple was built [in] forty-six years, and will You raise it up in three days?”
21 Gido atin Yesussay “maqqidase” giday ba asatetha gishasa.
But He spoke concerning the temple of His body;
22 Hessa gish Yesussay hayqi dendin iza kalizayti he yozza yushi qopidi eridanne hayssa kasse maxafan xafetidaysanne Yesussay istas kaseti yotida qaalla amanida.
when, then, He was raised out of the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this to them, and they believed the Writing, and the word that Jesus said.
23 Fazigaa ba7ale galas Yesussay Yerusalamen diishe oothida malatataa beydi daro asay iza amanidess.
And as He was in Jerusalem, in the Passover, in the celebration, many believed in His Name, beholding His signs that He was doing;
24 Qasse Yesussay asa wursi eriza gish onakka amanibeyna.
and Jesus Himself was not trusting Himself to them, because of His knowing all [men],
25 Izi aussa wozzinan diza wursi eriza gish onikka izas asa gish yotanas koshibeyna.
and because He had no need that any should testify concerning man, for He Himself was knowing what was in man.
