1 Ta intes tummu gays, doorssata yire penggerape attin hara baggara guupi geliizaay kaysoone bonqqizzade.
“Most certainly, I tell you, one who does not enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 Penggera geliizadey izi doorssata hemmiizade.
But one who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 Penggee nagzadey izas penggezza doyees, doorssatka iza qaala syeetes, ba doorssata sunththara sunththara xeeygi keesses.
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
4 Beyta wursi kessidape guyee istta sinthth adhidi kalethees, doorssatika iza qaala erriza gish iza kaletees.
Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
5 Immatha urra iza qaala errontta gish izafe baqatetes, attin muleka iza kaletena.
They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don’t know the voice of strangers.”
6 yesussay hessa lemisoza isttas yootdes, shin istt qasse izi isttas yootdaysa aykoka erribeytena.
Yeshua [Salvation] spoke this parable to them, but they didn’t understand what he was telling them.
7 hessa gish yesussay qasseka isttas hizzgdes, “ta isttas tummu gays doorssat penggey tana.
Yeshua [Salvation] therefore said to them again, “Most certainly, I tell you, Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the sheep’s door.
8 Tape kasse ydayt wuri kaysoone bonqqzayta doorssat gidkoo istt giza siybetena
All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them.
9 Pengeey tana ta, ta bagara gelizadey wuri attana, gelanane kezana hemmetizasoka demmana.
Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture.
10 Kaysooy kaysootana wodhanasine dhaysanas xaala yees, ta gidiko intes deyooy dana malane intes kehi darana mala yadsi.
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
11 Ta loo7o hemmizzade, loo7o hemiizzdey ba shmppo ba doorssata gish aththi immees.
Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep, and flees. The wolf snatches the sheep, and scatters them.
13 Baqattza mishshan qaxxarettdadee gidida gishine doorssatas michchetonttagishasa gshasa.
The hired hand flees because he is a hired hand, and does not care for the sheep.
14 Loo7o hemmizadeey tana tani ta doorssata errays, isttika tana erretes.
Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)] the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own;

even as Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad· knows me, and I know Abba Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 Hayssa ha doorssa yren geloonttayt tas hara doorssat deetes, ta isttaskka ha ehanaas tas beeses, isttika ta qaala siyanane issi mehe gidana, hemmiizayskka isadee gidana.
I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.
17 Ta zaarada denththanas ta shemppo ta aththa immiza gish ta aaway tana dooses.
For this reason haAbba ·the Father· has agapao ·total devotion love· unto me, because I lay down my life so that I may take it again.

No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from 'Avi ·my Father·.”
19 Hessa he qaalape denddaysan ayhudata garssan qasseka shaketeth medhetdees.
Therefore a division arose again among the Jews [Praisers] because of these words.
20 Daroo asay “iza bolla daydanthth diza gishine gooshu gidida gish inte izi gizaysa ays syeeti? gida.
Many of them said, “He has a demon, and is insane! Why do you listen to him?”
21 Baaggayti qasse “haysii daydanththi dizaddey hayssa mala gideena, daydanthth qooqda ayfe paththi errize? gida.
Others said, “These are not the sayings of one possessed by a demon. It is not possible for a demon to open the eyes of the blind, is it?”
22 Yerusalamen xoossa keehta oratho ba77ele boncho woodey gakkides, woodeyka gaalas.
Then came the Festival of Chanukah ·Dedication· at Jerusalem [City of peace]. (This occurs in the ninth month Kislev ·Trust security / Folly, 9· 25th day to tenth month Tevet ·Ten (in Hebrew) / Good (In Aramaic), 10· 2nd day).
23 Yesussay Xoossa keethth giibe gidon seloomoney simmeretzaso geetetzasora adhishshin.
It was winter, and Yeshua [Salvation] was walking in the temple, in Solomon [Peaceable, Recompense]’s portico (where one can see the four giant menorahs).
24 Ayhudati iza gidoo aththidi “ne aydee gakanas nu wozzna hirggan gammiisanee? ne Xoos kittidade gidikoo nus qoonccsa yoota gida.
The Jews [Praisers] therefore came around him and said to him, “How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Messiah [Anointed one], tell us plainly.”
25 Yesussayka isttas hizzgdees “ta intes yootadiskkoo shin inte qasse ammanibeykeista, ta aawa sunththan ta oththiza malatatii ta gish yootetes.
Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “I told you, and you don’t trust. The works that I do in 'Avi ·my Father·’s name, these testify about me.
26 Inte qasse ta doorssata gidoontta gish tana ammanekista.
But you don’t trust, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you.
27 Ta doorssatii ta qaala siyetes, taka istta errays, isttikka tana kaalletes.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
28 Ta isttas medhina deyoo immana, muleeka istti dhayetena, istt ta kushshepe woththii ekkanas danadey oonnika dena. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
29 Tas istta immida ta aaway wurisofee adhes, ta aawa kushshepe istta oonnika bonqqanas danddaena.
'Avi [My Father], who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of 'Avi ·my Father·’s hand.
30 “Tanine ta aaway nu issino.”
I and Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad· are one.”
31 Ayhudati iza caadanas qasseka shuchchu denththida.
Therefore Jews [Praisers] took up stones again to stone him.
32 Yesussayka “aawape gidida daroo gita malatata ta intena bessads, histtin ha ta besidaytape awari gish tana shuchchara caadeti? gides.
Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “I have shown you many good works from 'Avi ·my Father·. For which of those works do you stone me?”
33 Ayudatiika “nu nena shuchchara caadizay ne coo asi gida dashe nena nerkka xoossu kessada caashsha qaala ne hasaida gishshasape attin ne loo7o ooththidaysa gish gideena” gidii izas zaarida.
The Jews [Praisers] answered him, “We don’t stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy: because you, being a man, make yourself God.”
34 Yesussayka isttas hizzgdes “inte wooga gidon (ta intena xoossata gadis) geeteti xaafetibeyne?
Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “Is not it written in your Torah ·Teaching·, ‘I said, you are elohim ·judges, gods·?’
35 Xoossa qaalay isttas yida asata (xoossu gikoone maxaafay sharistanas danddaontta gidikoo.)
If he called the people 'elohim' ·judges, gods·, to whom the word of Elohim ·God· came (and the Scripture can’t be broken),

37 Ta aaway ooththizaysa ta oosontta aggkoo tanan ammanopite.

But if I do them, though you don’t trust me, trust the works; that you may know and trust that haAbba ·the Father· is in me, and I in Abba Father.”
39 Qasseka istti iza oykanas paacciida shin izi istta kushshepe keesi ekii bidees.
They sought again to seize him, and he went out of their hand.
40 Hessafe guye Yesussay, Yanssaay kasse xammaqzasoo gede yoridanosepe he pinthth simmid hen gammides.
He went away again beyond the Jordan [Descender] into the place where John [Yah is gracious] was baptizing at first, and there he stayed.
41 Daroo asay izako yides, istti qasse “Yanssay issi malataka ooththibeyna, gidoo attin hayssa addeza gish izi yootdaysi wurikka tummuko” gida.
Many came to him. They said, “John [Yah is gracious] indeed did no sign, but everything that John [Yah is gracious] said about this man is true.”
42 Henkka daroo asay Yesussan ammanides.
Many trusted in him there.
