1 Hessa gishshi salope xeyisi intena gakin ammaniza nu ishato nu ammanos hawarene qessista halaqa Yesusa qopite.
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, attentively consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest whom we have confessed;
2 Musey Xoossa keethe wuriso bolla ammanetidade gidida mala Yesusaykka bena shuumidades ammanetidadeko.
who, as well as Moses, is faithful to him that appointed him over all his house.
3 Keethe kexxidades keethefe bollara bonchoy diza mala Yesusaska Musepe adhdhiza bonchoy besizade gidanas besses.
Indeed, he has been accounted worthy of glory, as far superior to Moses, as that of the builder is superior to the house.
4 Keethe wurisoska kexxidadey dees. Gido attin wuriska oothidadey Xoossaa.
Now every house is built by some one; but he, the builder of all things, is God.
5 Musey buro hananayssa markatishe Xoossa keeththa wuriso bolla issi ammanetida oothancha mala gidi de7ides.
And Moses, indeed, as a servant, was faithful in all his house, for a testimony of the things that were to be spoken by him;
6 Kiristoosay gidiko Xoossa keeththa bolla ammanetida na malako. Nunika iza bolla ammanetiza ufayssayne ceeqetiza ufaysi lo7ethi oykiko nu izaso duusa keeth gidos.
but Christ, as a Son, over his own house--whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence, and the rejoicing of our hope, unshaken to the end.
7 Hessa gishshi xiillo ayanay giza mala “Inte hachchi iza qaala siyiko
Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "To-day, if you will hear his voice,
8 Bazzo biittan inte tana paacida wode makalidayssatho inte wozina muumisopite.
harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness;
9 Inte Aawati kase heen tana paccidane tanara eqetida. Ta oothidayssa wuris oyddu tammu laytha gakanas be7ida” gees Xooss.
where your fathers tempted me, and proved me, yet saw my works for forty years.
10 “He wode yeletethata bolla ta hanqistada (Istta wozinay wuriso wode baletes; Istti ta oge eribeytena) gadis”
Wherefore, I was displeased with that generation, and said, They always err in heart, and they have not known my ways.
11 Qasse “(Ta isttas immiza shemposo istti muleka geletena!) gaada tan ta hanqon caaqadis.
So, I swore, in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest."
12 Ta ishato intefe oonikka deyo Xoossafe haraso intena haasiza iittane ammanontta wozinay dontta mala naagetite.
Brethren, take heed, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, by departing from the living God.
13 Harapeka inte garisafe oonikka nagaran baletidi ba wozina muumisontta mala “Hachchi” geetetishin hachchi hachchi inte inte garisan minetite.
But, lest any of you be hardened, through the deceitfulness of sin, exhort one another every day, while it is called To-day:
14 Nuusi kase koyrope diza ammano nuni wuriseth gakanas lo7ethi minthi oykiko nuni kiristoosara issife laatana.
(for we are all partakers of Christ, if, indeed, we hold fast this first confidence firm to the end; )
15 Hessika “Inte hachchi iza qaala siyiko kase makal7idaysssa mala ha7ika inte wozina inte minthontta mala” geeteti geisha maxaafan xaafetidayssatho hanana.
with this saying, "To-day, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation."
16 Siyidi makal7idayti istti oonanitee? Musey Gibixefe kaaleth kessidayta wurisota gidetee?
For some, when they heard, did bitterly provoke; yet, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 Xoossi istta bolla oyddu tammu laytha hanqettidayti istti oonanitee? Nagara oothin istta ahay bazzo biittan kundi attidayta gidetenee?
Was it not with them who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
18 Izas azazetontta ixxidaytape attin iza shemposo gelontta mala izi caaqi digiday haray oonanitee?
And to whom did he swear, that they should not enter into his rest, but to them who did not believe?
19 Hessa gishshi istti gelontta attiday ammanoy baynda gishshi gididayssa nu erosu.
So, we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
