In the freedom, then, with which Christ made you free—stand, and do not be held fast again by a yoke of servitude.
2 Ta insa gizaysa wozina wothite inte qaxaristanakoyko Kistossay intes kiyontasa ta isas isas qoncen yotays.
Behold! I, Paul, say to you, that if you are [to be] circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing;
3 Qaxaristanakoyzayti wuri Muse woga wursi polanaysi dosa gidenaysa ta intes isas isas qonccen yotays.
and I testify again to every man circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law;
4 Inteno Muse wogan geyana (Xilana) waytizayto inte Kiristossape shaketidista iza kiyatethafeka hakidista.
you were voided from the Christ, you who are declared righteous in law; you fell away from grace;
5 Nu qase ufaysan nagetiza xiilotetha ayana bagara amanon lamotethan nagon dosu.
for we by the Spirit, by faith, wait for a hope of righteousness,
6 Asi Yesuss Kirstossan diko qaxaretin woykko qaxaretonta agin ayne go7ene go7ay dizay siqqon qoncciza amano xala.
for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
7 Kase loo7o wothu woxista shin haii intes xuphe gididi tumasi inte azazetonta mala intena digiday oone?
You were running well; who hindered you [so as] not to obey the truth?
8 Hessa mala balethoy intena xeygidadefe yibeyna.
The persuasion [is] not of Him who is calling you!
9 Gutha irshoy (calay) lixxe wuris callises.
A little leaven leavens the whole lump;
10 Intes hara qofay dena gada tani Godan amanistaysi intes taki gizaz oothozay ona gidikone izi ba piirda ekana.
I have confidence in regard to you in the LORD that you will not be otherwise minded; and he who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be.
11 Ta ishato hachi gakanas tani qaxara gish sabakiizako oone tana godanay? Hesamala gididako masqalas shuphe gidenako shin.
And I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling-block of the Cross has been done away [with];
12 Intes tii gizaz oothizaz oothiza asati co wogara qaxareteth agidi untafe dutheto.
O that even they would cut themselves off who are unsettling you!
13 Ta ishato inte goqateth kezanas xeygetidista. Inteni inte goqateth zaridi untafe dutheto sho amo polanas go7etopite. Hessafe inte inte garisan siqqon isay isa madite.
For you were called to freedom, brothers, only the freedom [is] not for an occasion to the flesh, but serve one another through the love,
14 Muse wogay wuri shiqetidi isi qalan qachetes hesika “Neni ne lage ne mala xeela gizaysa.
for all the Law is fulfilled in one word—in this: “You will love your neighbor as yourself”;
15 Gido attiin inte isay isara saxxetizayta gidiko inte inte garisan wurontamala nagetite.
and if you bite and devour one another, see that you may not be consumed by one another.
16 Hessa gish ta intena ayanan simeretite gays asho amoka polopite.
And I say, walk in the Spirit, and you may not fulfill the desire of the flesh;
17 Ashoy ayanay koyontazi amotes ayanayka ashoy koyontaz amotes. Heyti isay isara ba garisan shocetiza (Ayetiza) gish inte inte koyda mala othekista. (hanekista)
for the flesh desires contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed to one another, that the things that you may will—these you may not do;
18 Inte ayanan diza gidiko Muse woga garisan dekista.
and if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19 Asho oothoy qonccen eretes hesika laymateth tunateth layma kasse (ziita)
And the works of the flesh are also evident, which are: adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, licentiousness,
20 Eqas goyno biita pola (adheteth) ooshu miqaneteth hanqo bena xala doso shaketeth zufeteth.
idolatry, witchcraft, enmities, strife, jealousy, wraths, rivalries, dissensions, sects,
21 Qanateteth mathoteth 7lame yeth yexxethane heytanta milatizayta. Tani intes kaase yotida mala ha7ka inte nagistanamala qofisays. Hesamala dusu dizayti wurikka Xoossa kawotethi latetena.
envyings, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22 Ayana ayfey gidiko siiqo, ufays saroteth, danda7a, kiyateth, loo7oteth, amaneteth
And the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,
23 Ashoketetha berka bena haro. Haytantamala digizay Muse wogga garisan dena.
meekness, [and] self-control. Against such there is no law;
24 Yesuss Kiristossas gididayti asho iza ita qofarane iza ita amotethara gathi kaqqida.
and those who are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the affections and the desires;
25 Nu ayanan dana koyko ane ayanan simeretosu.
if we may live in the Spirit, we may also walk in the Spirit;
26 Ane nuni nu garisan isay isara mindi letizaysane qanatetishe mela hada ceeqetoko.
let us not become vainglorious—provoking one another, envying one another!
