1 Wurththethan ta ishato qassekka Goda qaalay inte achchan hanoyssathoka eleeli wurssoso gakkana malane bonchetana mala nuus woosite.
Finally, brethren, pray for us, asking that the Lord's Message may be spread rapidly and its glory be displayed, as it was displayed among you;
2 Qasseka asi wuri ammanizayssa gidontta gish makkalanchatapene iita asatape nu attana mala nuus woosite.
and that we may be delivered from wrong-headed and wicked men; for it is not everybody who has faith.
3 Goday gidiko ammanetidayssa. Izikka intena minnisana; xalaepaka intena naagana.
But the Lord is faithful, and He will make you stedfast and will guard you from the Evil one.
4 Nu intena azazidayssa inte hai oothidista shin sinththefekka inte oothanayssa nuni Godan ammanetosu.
And we have confidence in the Lord in regard to you that you are doing, and will do, what we command.
5 Goday inte wozina Xoossa siiqqookone Kiristtoossa dandda7ako kaaletho.
And may the Lord guide your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
6 Ta ishato ootho othantta asapene inte nuupe ekkida timirtteza mala doontta ammanizaytape inte haakkana mala Goda Yesuss Kiristtoossa sunththan intena nu azazoos.
But, by the authority of the Lord, we command you, brethren, to stand aloof from every brother whose life is disorderly and not in accordance with the teaching which all received from us.
7 Inte nu lemuso wostti kaalanakone inte inte baggara ereista. nu intenara diza wode ootho oothontta coo deybeykko.
For you yourselves know that it is your duty to follow our example. There was no disorder in our lives among you,
8 Qassekka oona soopekka kaththi coo mela mibeykko. Gido attin intefe oonaskka nu tooho gidontta mala qamane gallas daaburan oothi midos.
nor did we eat any one's bread without paying for it, but we laboured and toiled, working hard night and day in order not to be a burden to any of you.
9 Nu hessa oothiday inte nuna kaalana mala intes loo7o lemuso gidana giidipe attin nuus kooshshizayssa intefe ekkana nuns woqay dhayin gidena.
This was not because we had not a claim upon you, but it arose from a desire to set you an example--for you to imitate us.
10 Nu intenara diza wode “ootho oothanas dosontta asi kaathth moopo giza azazo intes immidos.
For even when we were with you, we laid down this rule for you: "If a man does not choose to work, neither shall he eat."
11 Inte garssan issi issi asati ootho oothonttayssa nu siydosu. Heytantti ootho oothontta mela bena gaathontta asa yooni gelizaytako.
For we hear that there are some of you who live disorderly lives and are mere idle busybodies.
12 Heyta mala asati ba ootho co7u gi oothana malane ba kath maana mala Goda Yesuss Kiristtoossa sunththan nu istta azazoosine zoroos.
To persons of that sort our injunction--and our command by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ--is that they are to work quietly and eat their own honestly-earned bread.
13 Inte gidikko ta ishato loo7o ootho oothanape mulekka azaallofite.
But you, brethren, must not grow weary in the path of duty;
14 Hayssa nu kiittida qaalas azazetoonttay oonkka diikko hessa milatizade lo7ethi kaalitene izi ba oothon yeelatana mala izara gaggofite.
and if any one refuses to obey these our written instructions, mark that man and hold no communication with him--so that he may be made to feel ashamed.
15 Gido attin iza inte isha mala hanqqite attin morkke mala xeellofite.
And yet do not regard him as an enemy, but caution him as a brother.
16 Sarotetha Goday izi ba baggara yoo wursson intes saroteth immo. Goday intenara wurssara gido.
And may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every sense. The Lord be with you all.
17 Hayssa sarota ta ta kushera intes xaafiday tana phawuloossa. Ta kiittas dumma malatay hayssa ta xaafiza xaafoy hayssa milates.
