2 Qoronttosa 6

1 Nuni Xoossara oothizayta gidida mala inte ekkida Xoossa kiyatetha coo mela ashshopite gishe nu intena woossos.

We then, [as] co-workers [with him], beseech [you] also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

2 Xoossi “Tani taas gigida gallas nena siyadis! Attiza gallas ta nena maadadis!” giza gishshi Lo7o wodey heko, ha7iko; Atetha gallasika ha7iko.

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.)

3 Nu oothoy leqetontta mala ay wodeka oonasika nuni dhuphe gidoko.

Giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

4 Hessafe aathidi waayene meto uni7oka danda7an Xoossas oothiza asata mala ayi ogeraka nunatetha aathi immoos.

But in all [things] approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

5 Nuni Xoossas oothizayta gididaysa bessizay garafetethan, qachetethan, hirigan, daaburi oothon, dhisiko dhayonine gafankko.

In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;

6 Hessaththoka geeshatethan, eratethan, danda7an, kiyatethan, xiillo ayana kaalonine qoodhepe-qomon gidontta siiqon,

By pureness, by knowledge, by long-suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by love unfeigned,

7 Tuma qaalanine Xoossa woliqaniko. Nu Izan gede oli xooniza ola miisheyne kametti attiza gondaley xiillotethiko.

By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

8 Bonchosu gidin woykko Kawushas; Qoodhistanas woykko galatenas nuni giigetidaytakko. Nuni tumanchatako shin ase balethizaytako geetettidosu.

By honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and [yet] true;

9 Nuni erettida ytako shin eretonttayta gididosu. Istti hayqidaytako gishin nuni paxa doosu. Asay nuna bukki bukkinka nu hayqibeykko.

As unknown, and [yet] well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

10 Muuzoy nuna gakikoka wurso wode ufa7etos. Nu manqoko Shin daro manqota dure Kessos. Nuusu aykoyka baynidaytako shin wurikka nuusu dees.

As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and [yet] possessing all things.

11 Inteno Qoronttoosen dizayto! ta kase intes qonccen yootadis. Nuni nu wozina intena wursi bessidosu.

O [ye] Corinthians, our mouth is open to you, our heart is enlarged.

12 Inte qasse nuna inte siiqo bessanas uzettidista attin nu intena nu siiqo bessanas uzetibeykko.

Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.

13 Aaway ba naas yootiza mala taka intes ane yootayss. Nuni nu wozina keehi doyidi nu qofa intes qonccisoyssatho inteka nuusu hessaththo qonccisite.

Now for a recompense in the same (I speak as to [my] children, ) be ye also enlarged.

14 Ammanontta asara giigay bayinda issifetethan oyketopite. Xiillotethine nagaray waani issifistanas danda7izee? Po7oyne dhumay issife waani daana danda7izee?

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 Kiristoosayine dabulosay waani gaaganas danda7izoo? Ammanizadey ammanonttadera aazan lagistanas danda7izee?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 Xoossa woossa keethas Eeqatara aaza gaagoy dizee? Xoossika “Tani ta duussaso ta deraza giddon oothana; Taka isttara daana; Taka istta Goda gidana; Isttika ta dereta gidana” giidi kase yootida mala nuni issay issay deyo Xoossa keethatakko.

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Goday hizgides “Inte istta giddofe shaaketidi kezite! Tuna miishe bochchofite; Taka intena ekkana;

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you;

18 Ta intes Aawa gidana; Inteka taas attuma naytane macca nayta gidandista” gees wursika danda7iza Goday.

And [I] will be a Father to you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
