1 Nuni ha7i nurika nuna zaarid galatinoo? Woyko hara asata mala intes gidin woykko intefe haa nuus xaafetida galata dibidabe koshizeshaa?
Are we beginning again to recommend ourselves? Or do we need, like some others, letters of recommendation to you, or letters of recommendation from you?
2 Inte qasse asi wuri erizayne nababettiza nu wozina garisan xaafettida dabidabistakko.
Ye are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men;
3 Inte qalamen xaafetidayta gidontta deyo Xoossa ayanan xaafetidaytako; Qasseka shuchcha bolla wocceti xaafetidayta gidontta asa wozinan xaafetidaytanne inte nunan go7ettida Kiristossas qonce dabidabistako.
since ye are manifestly shown to be a letter of Christ by means of our service, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tablets of stone, but on fleshly tablets of the heart.
4 Kiristoosa baggara nuus Xoossa bolla diza ammanoy hessa milatees.
And such confidence as this have we through Christ toward God;
5 Nuna hessas gathiday Xoossafe attin nuni nu woliqan oothidos giza miishshi issinaka baawa.
not that we are able of ourselves to think anything, as from ourselves; but our ability is from God;
6 Hesikka pidalen xaafetida wogan gidontta ayanan xaphida ooratha caqo qaala oothanchata nu gidana mala oothides. Gaasoyka pidalen xaafettida wogay wodhees; ayanay gidiko deyo immes.
who also gave us ability to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.
7 Hessa gishshi Isiraa7eele nayti iza ayfeson diza boncho gaasotethan Muse ayfeso tishshi histi xeloy istta xonana gakanas hessi guyepe dhayanaysine shuchcha bolla pidalen wooceti xaafetidi hayqo oothos gididaysi bonchon qonccizayssa gidiko,
But if the ministration of death, engraven in letters on stones, was so glorious, that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses by reason of the glory of his countenance, which glory was to be done away,
8 Histin ayana oothos waanidi hessafe adhiza bonchoy denee?
shall not the ministration of the Spirit be much more glorious?
9 Asi izan piridetiza oothoy hessa mala bonchetizayssa gidiko asi izan xiilliza oothoy hessafe keehi adhiza bonchoy izas waani deenee?
For if the ministration of condemnation had glory, much greater is the glory of the ministration of righteousness.
10 Hayssafe kasse bonchetidays hara izape adhiza bonchoy dizaysara gigisishin bonchoy bayndaysa gidides.
For even that which was made glorious hath ceased to be glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory by which it is exceeded.
11 Dhum dhum bizayssas hessa mala bonchoy dikko medhinas minni eqqi danayssas hessafe keehi adhiza bonchoy waani denee?
For if that which was to be done away was glorious, much more glorious is that which endureth.
12 Hessa gishshi hessa mala ufaysi nuus diza gishshi nuni xalatethan hasa7os.
Having therefore such hope, we use great plainness of speech;
13 Isra7eele nayti Muse ayfesoy xoliqizaysa agi agi bishin isti wursetha beyontta mala izi ba ayfeso goozida Muse mala gidokko.
and do not as Moses did, who put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel might not steadfastly look on the end of that which was to be done away.
14 Gido attin kase gal7a caqo qaalay nababetishin he wode goosazi hachi gakanas kiichontta gishshi ista wozinay doccida mala dees. He gosay ha7ika kiichi beyna. Izikka kiichanay Kiristoosan xalalako.
But their understandings were blinded; for until this day, when the old covenant is read, the same veil remaineth, since it is not unveiled to them that it is done away in Christ;
15 Hachi gakanasika Muse maxaafati nababetiza wode he wode goosay ha7ika istta wozina goozi oykees.
but even till this day, when Moses is read, there lieth a veil upon their heart;
16 Gido attin issi uray Godakko simmiza wode gosazi qaareti kichees.
but whenever it turneth to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Goday ayanako. Goda ayanay dizason ayleteth denna.
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 Nunika Goda boncho mastote mala xoliqetishe iza milatanasi ha bonchofe gede hara bonchon lamistana. Hessikka ayana gidida Godapekko.
But we all with unveiled face beholding in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Lord, the Spirit.
