1 Cima asa ne Aawa mala bonchora zora attin doomm7ofa; naatetha attuma nayta ne ishata mala xeella.
Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brothers;
2 Hessathokka cima maaccashshata Aayista mala, naatetha maaccata qasse ne michista mala geeshsha wozinan xeella.
The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
3 Aadafe metottettida amm7ista looeththa naaga.
Honor widows that are widows indeed.
4 Issi amm7eys nay woykko na nay diza gidikko, he nayti ba soo asata maaddanasine bena yeliddaytas kase istti oothida kushshe zaaron haraape kasetidi ba ammano oothon beessanasinne tamaranas beesses. Hessikka Xoossa ufayssizayssa.
But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to show piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
5 Qasse tumape maadoy bayindda, berkka diza amm7eya Xoossu xaalla xeellawusu. Woosasine Xoossafe maado deemmanas gaallasine qaama miinistawusu.
Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusts in God, and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.
6 Ha biitta loo7o duussu xaalla koyiza amm7eya gidikko iza paxa dashe hayiqqidarokko.
But she that lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.
7 Oona bollakka woththoy doontta mala hayssa azazooza asas aatha.
And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
8 Issi asi ba daabbota haraappekka ba soo asa maaddonttade gidikko izi ammano kaadiddadene ammanontta asapekka adhdhida iita asakko.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
9 Izisi layththay usuppun tammu layththafe garsara diza amm7ey sunththu amm7ista mazgaban xaapopa. Qasseka iza kase issade xaalla gellidaro gidanas beesses.
Let not a widow be taken into the number under three score years old, having been the wife of one man.
10 Nayta dichoninne immatha mokon, ammanizayta too meechchan, metootidayta maadonine loo7o oothon wursson bena aatha immada loo7o oothonkka keeza erettidaro gidanas beesses.
Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
11 Azinay bayindda naatetha amm7ista gidikko hessa mala mazzigaban xaafopa. Gasooykka isttas diza azinara daana amoy istti Kiristtoossas oothana gi gellida qaalape bollara adhdhiza wode adde gellana koyeetes.
But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;

Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

And with they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they should not.
14 Hessa gish azinati hayqqida naatetha maaccashshati adde gelana mala, nayta yelana malane ba soo as ayssana mala, morkeykka istta bolla wooththiza miishshe demmontta mala ta zorayss.
I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
15 Addaaka hayssafe kase issi issi asati xala7e kaalana guye sherr7i gida.
For some are already turned aside after Satan.
16 Ammaniza maaccashi oonikka ba soo asa giiddon amm7eti diza gidikko woosa keethi tumu amm7ista xaalla maaddana mala izakka ba baggara ba amm7ista maaddu attin woosa keethas tooho gidana mala aaggaguupu.
If any man or woman that believes have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
17 Woosa keeththa lo7ethi ayssizayti haraapekka saabakonine tamarson miinniza cimati gidikko dikko mado madistanas beesses.
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.
18 Maxxafan “kath buukiza boora duuna qaachchofa” qassekka “ootho oothizadey damussa ekkana beesses” gees.
For the scripture says, You shall not muzzle the ox that treads out the corn. And, The laborer is worthy of his reward.

Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
21 Xoossanine Yesuss Kiristtoossan doorettida kiittanchata sinththan hayta azazota oonakka maaddontta ne naaggana malane issi miishshikka ta gooripe ziq dhooqu histtontta mala nena hadara gays.
I charge you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
22 Xoossa oothos doranas, oona bollakka ne kushe wootha woosanas eesotopa. Qasse haratara nagara oothanas zuupetopa. nagarape nena xiillotethan naaga.
Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep yourself pure.
23 Nena qanththan saakkizaysasinne deenththa saakkoza gish guuthu woyine caajjefe guujjada uya attin hayssafe guye haathe xaalla uyoopa.
Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your often infirmities.
24 Issi issi asa nagaray pirday yanafe kasetidi qonces, baggayta nagaray qass pirdafe guye qonces.
Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.
25 Loo7o oothoykka hessa mala pirdafe sibthati qoncana, qonconta agikkokka piradafe guye qoncana.
Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
