1 Inte garisafe issades hara ammanizadera yooy diiko he yooza ammanizayta achchi shiishanayssa wostti ammanontta asa sinthan piridistana shiishizee?
Dare any of you, having a matter against another, be judged by the unrighteous, and not by the saints?
2 Ammaniza asay ammanontta asa bolla piridanayssa inte ereketii? Inte buro alame bolla piridandetta. Gidiko hessa guutha yoo bolla piridanas danda7eketii?
Do you not know that the saints are to judge with world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you unworthy to decide your petty causes?
3 Hayssa biitta bolla diza piriday attoshin inte buro kiitanchata bolla piridanayssa ereketii?
Do you not know that we are to judge messengers? Why not, then, things pertaining to this life?
4 Inte inte garisan oyettiko ammanizayta maabarape karen dizaytanine kadhettida asata sinthan wostti inte yoyo shiishetii?
If, then, you have the cognizance of such matters, why do you set those to judge who are of no account in the congregation?
5 Ta hessa intes gizay intena yeelachanaskko. Inte garisan ammanizayta giigisanas danda7iza wozanama asi bayee?
For shame to you I say it! So, then, there is not among you a wise man; not even one, who shall be able to decide between his brethren!
6 Gido attin ammanizadey hara ammanizade mootanas alame pirida keethe baanas bessizee?
But brother with brother is judged, and that by infidels!
7 Inte garisan issay issa mootoy inte kundethas malata besses. Inte qohanape qohettiko lo7enee? Qasseka inte asi balethanape intena asi balethiko lo7enee?
Now, therefore, indeed, there is plainly a fault in you, that you have law-suits with one another. Why do you not rather bear the being defrauded?
8 Inte haa qohistanape gede qoheistane balethista. Hessikka inte ishatakko.
But you injure and defraud; and that, too, your own brethren.
9 Makal7anchati Xoossa kawoteth gelonttayssa ereketii? Hessa mala yoon baletopite. Laymmatana qaqatizayti, eeqqa eqqizaytine addey addera laymmatizayti,
Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor sodomites,
10 Woyko kaysoti, gaphigaphizayti, mathotizayti, asi cayzaytine bonqizayti Xoossa kawoteth laatetena.
nor thieves, nor misers, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 Intefe issi issi asati heytantta malako shin ha7i qass Goda Yesus Kiristoosa sunthanine nu sunthanine nu Xoossa ayanan mecettidista, dummatidistane xiillidista.
And such were some of you; but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified, by the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

All meats are lawful for me to eat, but all are not proper: all meats are lawful for me to eat; but I will not be enslaved by any meat.
13 Qasse Kaathi uloskko; uloyka kaththaskko. Gido attin Xoossi nam7aka dhayssana. Asatethi Godassife attin laymmas gidena. Godayka asatethaskko.
Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats; however, God will destroy both it and them. Now, the body was not made for uncleanness, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body:
14 Xoossi Goda hayqope denthida mala nunaka qasse ba wolqan hayqope denthana.
and God has both raised the Lord, and will raise up us by his own power.
15 Inte asatethay Kiristoosa asatetha billite gididayssa inte ereketii? Histin ta Kiristoosa asatethafe issa laymman aqqiza asatara issino histoo? Muleka bessena.
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall, I, then, take the members of Christ and make them the members of a harlot? By no means.
16 Woyko laymmatizarira aqqizadey izira issi asho gidizayssa inte ereketii? “Nam7ay issi asho gidetes” geetetides.
What! do you not know that he who is strongly attached to a harlot is one body? for he says, "The two shall be one flesh."
17 Gido attin Godara issino gidizadey izara issi ayana gidees.
But he, who is strongly attached to the Lord, is one spirit.
18 Laymmape hakkite. Asi oothiza hara nagaray wuri izade ashope karera hanes. laymma laymmatizadey gidiko berika ba asatetha bolla nagara oothes.
Flee uncleanness. Every sin which a man commits, is without the body: but he who commits uncleanness, sins against his own body.
19 Inte asatethay inte gaathan diza xiillo ayanas duussaso gididayssa inte erekketii? He ayanayka inte Xoossafe ekoyssakko. Inteka inte intes gidekista.
What! do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God?
20 Inte miishan shametidista. Hessa gishshi inte inte asatethan Xoossu bonchite.
Besides, you are not your own; for you are bought with a price: therefore, with your body glorify God.
