1 Qoronttosa 15
1 Ha7ika ta ishato ta intena sabakin inte ekkidine izan minni eqqida mishiracho qaala ha7i qofisana koyays.
Moreover, brothers, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand;
2 Ta intes sabakida qaala inte lo7ethi oykkiko he mishiracho qaalan inte attana. Hessa mala gidontta aggiko inte ammanoy coo mela hadakko.
By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached to you, unless you have believed in vain.
3 Tani taas ekkidayssane wursofe adhdhizayssa intes aatha imadis. Geesha maxaafati gizayssa mala Kiristoosay nu nagara gishshi hayqides.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 Moogettides; Geesha maxaafatan xaafettidayssa mala hedzdzantho gallas hayqope dendides.
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 Hessafe kaallidi Phixirosas bettides. Qasseka Yesusa kaalliza tammane nam77atas bettides.
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 Hessafe guye ichchachu xeetupe bollara diza ammanizaytas issito bettides. He iza be7ida asape dariza baggay paxa dees. Baggay qasse hayqqides
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brothers at once; of whom the greater part remain to this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 Hessafe guye Yaqobes bettides. Kaallidika kumetha hawaristas bettides.
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 Tani hawarista wursofe guuthukko. Tani kase Xoossa woossa keeth goodida gishshi haware geetistanas ta bessonttadekko shin asa wursofe awucaya milatiza taasika bettides.
And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 Gido attin Xoossa kiyatethan ha7i ta hanidayssa hanadis. Taasika imettida Xoossa kiyatethi mela hada gidibeyna. Tani oonapeka bollara daro minna oothadis. Gido attin hessa oothiday tana gidontta Xoossa aadho kiyatethi oothides.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed on me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11 Hessa gishshi tana gidin isttaka gidin nu wurikka sabakizay hessako. Inteka ammaniday hessako.
Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.
12 Kiristoosay hayqope dendidayssa nu tamarissiko histin inte garisafe issi issi asati waanidi hayqope dendoy baawa gizoo?
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 Hayqida asas denthi donttaz gidiko Kiristoosayka dendibeyna guusakaa?
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 Kirstoosayka hayqope dendonttaz gidiko nu sabakosu go7ay baawa. Inte ammanoyka co mela hadakko.
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Hessafeka bollara Xoossi Kiristoosa hayqope denthides giidi nu marikatida marikayka nuna wordo Xoossa marikata kessideskaa? Hayqida asay hayqope dendonttaz gidiko Xoossi Kiristoosaka denthibeyna guusukko.
Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 Gaasoyka hayqidayti dendonttazi gidiko Kiristoosayka hayqope dendibeyna.
For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 Kiristoosay hayqope dendonttaz gidiko inte ammanoy coo melakko. Inteka hanno gakkanaas inte nagarara deista guusukko.
And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; you are yet in your sins.
18 Hanoy hessa mala gidiko Kiristoosa ammanid hayqidayti wurikka dhayida guusukko.
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 Nuni Kiristoosan ufayss oothizay hanno biittay bolla duussas xalala gidiko nu asa wursofe lafatakko.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 Gido attin Kiristoosay hayqidaytas wursos bayra gididi hayqope tumu dendides.
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.
21 Hayqoy issi asa Addame baggara yida mala hayqidayta denthi Kiristoosa baggarakko.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 Asi wurikka Addame baggara hayqida mala hessathoka asi wurikka Kiristoosa baggara hayqope dendana.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 Gido attin wurikka ba tarara tarara dedana. Koyko bayra gidida Kristoosay dendides. Izape kaallidi izi yiza wode Kiristoosas gidizayti dendana.
But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24 Hessafe guye haaretiza dereta, godatethine wolqamata wursi dhayssidape guye kawota Xoossa Aawas aathi immiza wode he wode wursethi gidana.
Then comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 Be morike wursika ba too garis aathana gakkanaas izi kawotanas besses.
For he must reign, till he has put all enemies under his feet.
26 Buro wursethan xooneti dhayana morkey hayqqokko.
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 “Xoossi wursika iza Godatethafe garisan wothides” gizazi geesha maxaafan xaafetides. Gido attin “Wurika iza Godatetha garisan gidides” gishin wurikka iza Godatetha garisan oothida Xoossa Aawa gujjonttako.
For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 Wurika izas haaretidayssafe guye Xoossi wursofe bolla gidana mala Xoossa nay qasse wursi bees haarisidayssas Xoossa Aawas haaristana.
And when all things shall be subdued to him, then shall the Son also himself be subject to him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
29 Hayqope denthi doontta aggiko histin hayqida asa gishshi giidi xammaqetiza wursos go7ay aazee? Hayqidayti muleka dendonttaz gidiko histin asay istta gishshi aazas xammaqetizee?
Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
30 Nu qass wurso wode iitta metos aadhi imettizay aazasee?
And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
31 Ta ishato hachchi hachchi hayqoy tanara gaagees. Hessaka nu Goda Yesusa Kiristoosa geedon inte bolla diza ammanetethi ta intes qonccisays.
I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our LORD, I die daily.
32 Tani Efesonen do7a milatiza asatara baaxettidayssi asi beyana mala xalala gidiko taas izan aaza wodhey dizee? Hayqidaytas denthi dontta aggiko “Nu wontto hayqana gishshi ane moosu, ane uyossu” gizayta mala nuka istta mala gidosu.
If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantages it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
33 Inte balettofite “Iitta lagetethi, lo7o amalera dizayta moores.”
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Wozinama gidite; nagara oothopite; Xoossu eronttayti issi issi asati inte garisan diza gishshi ta hessa intena yeelachanas gayss.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 Hayqidayti waani dendanee? Ay mala ashora dendanee? giza uray daana danda7es.
But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Neno, eeyazo! ne zeriza zerethay hayqontta dishe caarena.
You fool, that which you sow is not quickened, except it die:
37 Neni zeriza kaththa handaya gistte woykko hara kaththa ayfe gidikkoka guyepe ne ekkanara ha7i ne zeroro giduku.
And that which you sow, you sow not that body that shall be, but bore grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 Xoossi qasse ba koyda mala he zerethas iza mala medho immes. Zeretha qomotas issas issas iza milatiza asateth immes.
But God gives it a body as it has pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 Ashoy wurikka issi mala gidena. Asa ashoy issa gidishin mehe ashoy qasse harakko, Kafo ashoy harakko, mole ashoyka hara qommokko.
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 Hessa malaka salon dizaytaska istta milatiza medhoy dees. Biitta bolla dizaytaskka istta milatiza medhoy dees. Gido saloyta bonchoy issi malakko. Biitta bolla dizayta medho bonchoyka dummakko.
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 Awa arshe bonchoy issinokko. Gido attin agina bonchoy qasse dummakko. Xoolinttista bonchoyka harakko. Issi xoolintte bonchoy hara xoolintte bonchofe dummates.
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory.
42 Hayqida asa denthika hessa malakko. Wooqiza medhoy zaretin wooqontta medhoy dendana.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 Kawushatethan zaretana shin bonchon dendana. Daburisan zaretana shin wolqama gididi dendana.
It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 Medhetetha medhoy zaretana shin ayana medhoy dendana. Medhetetha medhoy diiko qasseka ayana medhoyka dees.
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 Hessa gishshi “Koyro asi Adamey deyoy diza medheteth gidides” geeteti geesha maxaafan xaafetides. Nam7antho Adame gidida Kiristoosay gidiko asas deyo immiza ayanakko.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Gido attin koyro yiday ayanayssa gidontta medhetethayssakko. Ayanayssi qass guyepe yidayssakko.
However, that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 Koyro yida Adamey biittafe medhetida gishshi izi biittafekko. Nam7antho yiday salopekko.
The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 Biittafe gididayti istti biittafe medhetidayssa malakko. Salope gididayti salope yidayssa malakko.
As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 Nuni biitta asa medha mayoyssathoka saloyssa medhaka mayana.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Ta ishato ta hayssa intes yootays ashoyne suuthi Xoossa kawotethi laattetena. Dhayanayssi dhayonttayssa laatena.
Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Ane ta intes issi xuura yo yootayss. Nuni wurikka hayqqokko. Gido attin nu wurikka laamistana.
Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 Hessika hananay nu qopontta dishin wursetha xurumbbay punettiza wode hessi qiphida ayfey xeeliza mala issi to hanana. Xurumbbay punistana; Hayqida asay wooqonttayta gididi dendana. Nunika laamistana.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 Dhayzayssi dhayonttassa mayanas, hayqizay hayqonttayssa mayanas besses.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 Dhayzay dhayonttaz, hayqizay hayqonttazi mayiza wode “Hayqoy xoonetti mitettides” geeteti kase geesha maxaafan xaafetida qaalay polettana.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 Hessaththoka “Hayqqo kase ne xoonoy awan dizee? Hayqo ne izara cadiza yiishay awan dizee?” (Hadēs g86)
O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? (Hadēs g86)
56 Hayqoy izara dukkiza wolqay nagarakko; Nagara wolqay wogakko.
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 Gido attin Goda Yesus Kiristoosa baggara nuusu xoono immiza Xoossas galatay gido.
But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Hessa gishshi ta siiqo ishato minni eqite. Ay miishanka yariki yarikopite. Goda oothos inte daburiza daburisay hada gidonttayssa eridi wurso wode pacey bayinda Godas oothanas minettite.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be you steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
