Zacharie 12
1 Malheur accablant de la parole du Seigneur sur Israël. Le Seigneur qui a étendu le ciel, et fondé la terre, et formé l’esprit de l’homme en lui, dit:
The prophecy of the word of the Lord concerning Israel, Saith the Lord, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him:
2 Voici que moi je ferai de Jérusalem une porte d’enivrement pour tous les peuples d’alentour; mais Juda même sera pendant le siège contre Jérusalem.
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of confusion unto all the people round about; and also against Judah, who will have to be at the siege against Jerusalem.
3 Et il arrivera qu’en ce jour-là je ferai de Jérusalem une pierre de poids pour tous les peuples; tous ceux qui la soulèveront seront meurtris et déchirés; et tous les royaumes de la terre s’assembleront contre elle.
And it shall come to pass on that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the people; all that burden themselves with it shall be severely cut: yet then will be gathered together against it all the nations of the earth.
4 En ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur, je frapperai de stupeur tous les chevaux, et ceux qui les montent de démence; et sur la maison de Juda j’ouvrirai mes yeux: tous les chevaux des peuples, je les frapperai de cécité.
On that day, saith the Lord, will I smite every horse with dizziness, and his rider with madness; but over the house of Judah will I open my eyes, while I will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5 Et les chefs de Juda diront en leur cœur: Que les habitants de Jérusalem trouvent un appui pour moi dans le Seigneur des armées, leur Dieu.
And the chiefs of Judah will say in their heart, A strong support for me are the inhabitants of Jerusalem through the Lord of hosts their God.
6 En ce jour-là, je ferai des chefs de Juda comme un foyer de feu sous du bois, comme une torche de feu dans la paille; et ils dévoreront à droite et à gauche les peuples d’alentour, et Jérusalem sera de nouveau habitée en son propre lieu, à Jérusalem.
On that day will I make the chiefs of Judah like a fire-hearth among the wood, and like a torch of fire among sheaves; and they shall devour on the right hand and on the left all the people round about; and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
7 Et le Seigneur sauvera les tabernacles de Juda comme au commencement; afin que la maison de David ne se glorifie point fastueusement, et que la gloire des habitants de Jérusalem ne s’élève pas contre Juda,
The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first: in order that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become boastful over Judah.
8 En ce jour-là, le Seigneur protégera les habitants de Jérusalem, et celui qui d’entre eux tombera en ce jour-là sera comme David, et la maison de David comme une maison à Dieu, comme un ange du Seigneur en leur présence.
On that day will the Lord be a shield around the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and the feeblest among them shall be on that day like David; and the house of David shall be like divine beings, like an angel of the Lord before them.
9 Et il arrivera qu’en ce jour-là, j’aurai soin de briser toutes les nations qui viennent contre Jérusalem.
And it shall come to pass on that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that are come against Jerusalem.
10 Et je répandrai sur la maison de David et sur les habitants de Jérusalem l’esprit de grâce et de prières; et ils regarderont vers moi, qu’ils ont percé; et ils pleureront amèrement celui qu’ils ont percé, comme ils pleureraient leur fils unique, et ils s’affligeront à son sujet, comme on a coutume de s’affliger à la mort du premier-né.
But I will pour out over the house of David, and over the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they will look up toward me [for every one] whom they have thrust through, and they will lament for him, as one lamenteth for an only son, and weep bitterly for him, as one weepeth bitterly for the first-born.
11 En ce jour-là, il y aura un grand pleur dans Jérusalem, comme le pleur d’Adadremmon dans la plaine de Mageddon.
On that day will the lamentation be great in Jerusalem, like the lamentation at Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
12 La terre pleurera, familles et familles à part; les familles de la maison de David à part, et leurs femmes à part;
And the land will mourn, every family apart by itself: the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 Les familles de la maison de Nathan à part, et leurs femmes à part; les familles de la maison de Lévi à part, et leurs femmes à part; les familles de Séméi à part, et leurs femmes à part.
The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shim'i apart, and their wives apart;
14 Toutes les autres familles, familles et familles à part, et leurs femmes à part.
All the families that remain, every family apart by itself, and their wives apart.
