Psaumes 29
1 Pour la consommation du tabernacle.
A Psalm of David. Ascribe unto the LORD, O ye sons of might, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.
2 Apportez au Seigneur gloire et honneur, apportez au Seigneur de la gloire pour son nom: adorez le Seigneur dans son saint parvis.
Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3 La voix du Seigneur a retenti sur les eaux, le Dieu de majesté a tonné; le Seigneur s’est fait entendre sur des eaux abondantes.
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth, even the LORD upon many waters.
4 La voix du Seigneur est pleine de force: la voix du Seigneur est pleine de magnificence.
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5 La voix du Seigneur brise des cèdres; et le Seigneur brisera les cèdres du Liban,
The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6 Et les mettra en pièces comme il y mettrait un jeune taureau du Liban: et le bien-aimé sera comme un petit de licorne.
He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.
7 La voix du Seigneur fend une flamme de feu;
The voice of the LORD heweth out flames of fire.
8 La voix du Seigneur ébranle le désert; et le Seigneur agitera le désert de Cadès.
The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 La voix du Seigneur prépare des cerfs; et elle découvrira des lieux sombres et épais: et, dans son temple, tous diront: Gloire!
The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and strippeth the forests bare; and in His temple all say: 'Glory.'
10 Le Seigneur fait habiter le déluge sur la terre; et le Seigneur roi siégera éternellement.
The LORD sat enthroned at the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth as King for ever.
11 Le Seigneur donnera de la force à son peuple: le Seigneur bénira son peuple en paix.
The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
