Psaumes 121

1 J’ai levé les yeux vers les montagnes, d’où me viendra le secours.

A Song of Ascents. I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: from whence shall my help come?

2 Mon secours vient du Seigneur, qui a fait le ciel et la terre.

My help cometh from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

3 Qu’il ne permette pas que ton pied soit ébranlé, et qu’il ne s’assoupisse pas, celui qui te garde.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 Vois, il ne s’assoupira, ni ne dormira, celui qui garde Israël.

Behold, He that keepeth Israel doth neither slumber nor sleep.

5 C’est le Seigneur qui te garde, c’est le Seigneur qui est ta protection; il est sur ta main droite.

The LORD is thy keeper; the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 Pendant le jour, le soleil ne le brûlera pas, ni la lune pendant la nuit.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 Le Seigneur te garde de tout mal; que le Seigneur garde ton âme.

The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.

8 Que le Seigneur garde ton entrée et ta sortie, dès ce moment et jusqu’à jamais.

The LORD shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.
