Philippiens 4
1 C’est pourquoi, mes frères très chers et très désirés, ma gloire et ma couronne, demeurez ainsi fermes dans le Seigneur, mes bien-aimés,
Wherefore, my beloved and dear brethren, my joy and my crown!-so stand ye fast in our Lord, my beloved!
2 Je prie Evodie et je conjure Syntyche d’avoir les mêmes sentiments dans le Seigneur.
I beseech of Euodias and Syntyche, that they be of one mind in our Lord.
3 Je te prie aussi, toi, mon fidèle compagnon, aide celles qui ont travaillé avec moi pour l’Evangile, avec Clément et mes autres coopérateurs, dont les noms sont dans le livre de vie.
I also beseech of thee, my true yokefellow, that thou assist those women who toiled with me in the gospel; together with Clement, and with the rest of my helpers, whose names are written in the book of life.
4 Réjouissez-vous toujours dans le Seigneur; je le dis encore, réjouissez-vous.
Rejoice ye in our Lord, at all times; and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Que votre modestie soit connue de tous les hommes; le Seigneur est proche.
Let your humility be recognized among all men. Our Lord is near.
6 Ne vous inquiétez de rien, mais que dans toutes vos prières et dans toutes vos supplications ce soit avec des actions de grâces que vos demandes paraissent devant Dieu.
Be anxious for nothing; but at all times, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, make known your requests before God.
7 Et que la paix de Dieu, qui surpasse toute pensée, garde vos cœurs et vos esprits dans le Christ Jésus.
And the peace of God, which surpasseth all knowledge, will keep your hearts and your minds, through Jesus the Messiah.
8 Enfin, mes frères, que tout ce qui est vrai, tout ce qui est pur, tout ce qui est juste, tout ce qui est saint, tout ce qui est aimable, toute bonne réputation, tout ce qui est vertueux, tout ce qui est louable dans les mœurs, soit l’objet de vos pensées.
Finally, my brethren, what things are true, and what things are decorous, and what things are right, and what things are pure, and what things are lovely, and what things are commendable, and deeds of praise and approbation, on these be your thoughts.
9 Ce que vous avez appris, et reçu, et entendu de moi, et vu en moi, pratiquez-le, et le Dieu de paix sera avec vous.
What things ye have learned, and received, and heard, and seen, in me, these do ye: and the God of peace will be with you.
10 Au reste, je me suis grandement réjoui dans le Seigneur de ce que vos sentiments pour moi ont enfin refleuri: vous les aviez toujours, mais vous étiez occupés.
And I rejoice greatly in our Lord, that ye have again commenced caring for me; even as ye had before cared for me, but ye had not the opportunity.
11 Ce n’est pas à cause du besoin que j’en ai que je parle ainsi; car j’ai appris à être satisfait de l’état où je me trouve.
Yet I say this, not because I was in want; for I have learned to make that satisfy me, which I have.
12 Je sais être humilié, et je sais aussi vivre dans l’abondance (je me suis habitué partout et à tout); être rassasié et avoir faim; être dans l’abondance et dans l’indigence.
I know how to be depressed, and I also know how to abound in every thing; and in all things am I exercised, both in fullness and in famine, in abundance and in penury.
13 Je puis tout en celui qui me fortifie.
I find strength for every thing, in the Messiah who strengtheneth me.
14 Cependant vous avez bien fait en prenant part à mes tribulations.
Yet ye have done well, in that ye communicated to my necessities.
15 Or vous savez, vous aussi, Philippiens, qu’au commencement de ma prédication de l’Evangile, quand je partis de la Macédoine, aucune Eglise ne m’a fait part de ses biens à titre de compensation, si ce n’est vous seuls;
And ye know also, Philippians, that in the beginning of the annunciation, when I left Macedonia, not one of the churches communicated with me in respect to receiving and giving, except ye only;
16 Car vous m’avez envoyé une fois, et même deux, à Thessalonique, ce qui m’était nécessaire.
that also at Thessalonica, once and again ye sent me relief.
17 Non que je recherche vos dons, mais je désire le fruit qui en abondera par rapport à vous.
Not that I desire a gift; but I wish fruits may multiply unto you.
18 Car j’ai tout, j’abonde; je suis comblé, ayant reçu par Epaphrodite ce que vous avez envoyé, oblation de suave odeur, hostie acceptée, agréable à Dieu.
I have now received all, and I abound, and am full: and I accepted all that ye sent to me by Epaphroditus, a sweet odor, and an acceptable sacrifice that pleaseth God.
19 Mais que mon Dieu remplisse tous vos désirs, selon ses richesses en gloire, dans le Christ Jésus.
And may God supply all your necessity, according to his riches, in the glory of Jesus the Messiah.
And to God our Father, be glory and honor, for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
21 Saluez tous les saints en Jésus-Christ.
Salute all the saints who are in Jesus the Messiah. The brethren who are with me, salute you.
22 Les frères qui sont avec moi vous saluent. Tous les saints vous saluent, mais principalement ceux qui sont de la maison de César.
All the saints salute you, especially those of Caesar's household.
23 Que la grâce de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ soit avec votre esprit. Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, be with you all. Amen.
